Although this is a vintage home, we do have central heating and cooling. We have a smart TV as well so that you can log into your accounts and stream all your favorite entertainment.

You will see a garage in the pictures, but the garage is closed off and not accessible during your stay. There is a driveway to park your vehicle and plenty of free street parking as well.

The home is in downtown Lincoln so please understand that it is not a completely quiet home 24/7. We are off the main strip so not as busy as other places, but you may hear some traffic and there is also a train that runs through Lincoln. The train will sound its horn periodically throughout the day and we want to be transparent that you will most likely experience that. The benefit of being so close to downtown is being within walking distance all that Lincoln has to offer. Some of our favorite places are below:

Amazing, luxurious, modern, high-tech, palatial, richly furnished 4000 Sq. Ft. downtown loft home. 12 foot ceilings, 3 large bedrooms with 70" TVs and full baths, $70,000 custom gourmet kitchen, 14 foot 3D TV / Gaming projector in living room, huge rec room with dozens of free play, full-sized arcade games, foosball, and pinball. Sleeps up to 10 with 2 sofa beds. You will never find another place like this anywhere. This is the type of place President Trump might stay, minus the gold plating.

Opening the door into a large, old wooden staircase, we ascended into a “big kids” paradise. Massive kitchen with enough space for multiple families, a theatre sized projector screen supported by a surround sound system, a gigantic dining room table for games, and of course, the downstairs arcade! Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and all plumbing/appliances worked perfectly. We came down for a guys weekend, and quickly realized one weekend was not enough to fully absorb all this location had to offer. This is one of the most unique and unforgettable spots in the Midwest, and I am hopeful to return in the future! Kudos to John for setting up such an awesome experience!"

Lincoln’s loft speakeasy suite is a beautifully renovated street level apartment in downtown Lincoln Illinois that was completed in April 2019. With a hidden entrance behind a bookcase entry, Lincoln’s loft Speakeasy Suite is an experience in itself. This historically renovated space is a prime location for entertaining your group downtown. This unit has not only a bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed, but a loft equipped with 2 queen sized beds up the spiral staircase.

This is an older building, so it does smell musty when you first go in, but it does dissipate after a while. The kids really enjoyed the loft—it was just for them—and the speakeasy theme was a kick. Easy walk to Guest House coffee and Alley-Bi burgers. Would definitely stay here again."
