Downside, particular room I was in was a little musty. But they are working to remodel things. Also the air filters in the heating unit were dusty. Well after that interaction i go to my room..instantly regret my decisions...the key is just for looks...doesn't make the door work..at all..its broken..you literally just have to push the door open..and to keep it shut..all i had to do was grab the chair from the corner and half ass got it under said broken door knob..really felt safe and secure after all that..After all that I decided a hot shower may calm my nerves a bit...lmao..yeah right! Not sure how ANYONE could successfully shower..and get clean..when all i had to wash with was the mini soaps that they give you to wash your hands..no shampoo..no real soap..there was so much mold in the corner of the shower, that its been multiplying and growing there for quite a LONG time..so the shower wasnt going to happen, so i get out..being expected to dry my body amd hair...with ONE single hand towel..there actually were 2 regular towels there to begin with...but there was so much dirt on the floor...there's no.way.that.it has EVER been cleaned..or even swept..im gonna run out of characters before i get to the good parts."

- "Our family was holding its semi-annual reunion at the family farm which is just outside of Springfield. Over 100 people came from many distances, one cousin even from Australia. The immediate members of my family who were able to attend included my wife, our two sons, and our daughter and her family. The house was ideally located for us, being about ten to fifteen minutes from the various sites that our four day stay would encompass. We didn't host any of the activities but had we chosen to do so the house offered a large dining area and kitchen, as well as spacious play room. There were three bedrooms with a master bed and two rooms with two standard beds each. We appreciated all of the amenities available in the kitchen with a variety of hot beverages and snacks. Everything that we might find in our home appeared to be there, for cooking and eating as well bathroom needs. Its location in a neighborhood community was not a negative for us as we spent most of the stay at other locations, including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. If we were to be planning another stay in the area we would be quite happy to have this home available."

The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and the bathroom even had some extra toliteries if you forgot soap etc. Very spacious for a two bedroom apartment! Little disappointed the listing said there was a hot tub but that meant there was a "tub" in the bathroom. The listing was also suppose to be for the first floor apartment and we were notified the day of check-in that we would be on the third floor due to plumbing issues in the other apartment. The communication with the hostess was great as well! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to hopefully staying here again next year. "

Long terms stays welcome! This peaceful 2BD/1.5BA contemporary home is just mins from downtown Springfield, the State Capitol, Illinois State Museum and both major Hospitals.

This space ideal traveling nurses, students and Springfield visitors.

- "Older duplex that has been recently rehabbed. Was clean and we did appreciate the little touches such as the keurig machine and the great selection of streaming services for the tv (Netflix, Disney +, etc.). The neighborhood was a middle class residential neighborhood on the north side of Springfield, Dirksen and Sangamon Ave area. The tv in one of the bedrooms did not seem to work, not sure why. The beds were really odd, very low to the ground, not standard beds. An older person would have a hard time getting in and out of them. Marketed as 1 1/2 baths which is true, but the half bath is in the basement and not very convenient. The biggest issue, which was unadvertised, was the train tracks 150 yards out the back door. Not near a crossing, so no train horn, but still loud enough to wake you up if you are not used to it. We counted six trains the first night. If you are a railfan you will love it, because you get all kinds of freight trains and the Amtrak. The inside was well done (recent remodel) but the outside needs some TLC in terms of landscaping."
