Your safety and convenience are our top priorities. Our home features a secure, keyless entry system. Upon booking, you’ll receive a unique security code to access the property—no need to worry about losing keys! This ensures that only you and your group have access during your stay.

Parking is a breeze at our home! Our large driveway and additional carport provide plenty of space, comfortably accommodating up to 8 vehicles. However, we kindly ask that you avoid parking on the grass to help us maintain the property.

Other Things To Note:
We own the beach directly behind our house ending at the large sycamore tree. Please note that beach access varies with the level of the lake and the Illinois River. Generally, beach availability is only affected in early Spring, when river levels are high.

Guests are welcome to bring their own boats and jet skis to put into the water. Ramp access is not far from the home. Please let us know prior to your arrival and we will leave you the key to the public ramp.

Guests are encouraged to lawn chairs, water floats and any beach/pool like items to enjoy in the water. While we have spent a lot of time cleaning the beach and yard, we do recommend water shoes. Don’t forget your fishing gear! (4) life jackets are provided with the kayaks. Please use caution and swim at your own risk.

We are not an openly free pet home. However, if you need to bring your fur baby along, please reach out for approval and details. With some guests who may be allergic, a cleaning fee would be applied, and also a non-refundable pet deposit. If bringing more than (1) pet and staying for more than 3 nights, additional fees will apply.

Some good bug spray is a must! Being on the water and sand, there are lots of different crawling and flying insects. Keeping the lights off in the evening outside, and the doors shut, will help this issue a lot. We spray around the house, but the critters are inevitable.

**If you'd like an air mattress for additional sleeping space, a queen mattress and bedding can be provided for $50 throughout your stay.

Exterior Security Cameras on Property:
A ring camera is on the front door of our property. This allows us to see when guests arrive and depart for cleanings. During your stay, notifications will be turned off.

The space
Rustic, unique and beautiful…..staying here is an experience in itself! The loft upstairs is not enclosed but rather open to below. There is a half wall/railing for privacy and safety. Three single beds are upstairs for sleeping as well as a very comfortable and high quality queen mattress folding out from the sofa downstairs. This place is compact and should provide everything you need for a comfortable, unforgettable stay including a full kitchen and a large 2-person shower.
Other things to note
WiFi. Cell reception is good outside including usually watching YouTube/Netflix outside, but reception inside is terrible. Texts inside get through but phone is poor and videos do not stream inside. (this is due to the metal structure of the building).

The property is located almost exactly 3 miles west of the edge of Lewistown.... on County Road 14. Look for the two silver silos on the south side of the road. The silver Semi is closer to the driveway. The windmill has our sign "Grain Inn" next to the road and driveway. Can't wait for you to come check it out!

Little red cabin down in a country village. The cabin is across from The Spoon River along with a park and the Bernadotte Cafe Restaurant/bar. The Bernadotte Cafe serves homemade delicious food at a reasonable price (cash only) and the new bar is a must see. ATVs welcome. Many places to ride. Some of the biggest fish are caught here on the Spoon River. Come and enjoy a relaxing getaway.

The space
As you relax and unwind in this new spacious silo home, you may not want to leave. Each room has been designed with your comfort in mind. We have three bedrooms with beds of all sizes. The king bed is on the main level m, so if you don’t want to walk upstairs, you don’t have to. But we think the view from above is worth the climb.
Other things to note
There is a smaller silo home and a remodeled semi trailer tiny home on the same property, so we can accommodate up to 17 guests at one time if available: Inquire if interested.
The property is located almost exactly 3 miles west of the edge of Lewistown.... on County Road 14. Look for the two silver silos on the south side of the road. The silver Semi is closer to the driveway. The windmill has our sign "Grain Inn" next to the road and driveway. Can't wait for you to come check it out!

Our Farmhouse suite has been newly renovated and is filled with vintage pieces of furniture that help create the ideal cozy oasis. Full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and stove, as well as all of the essential kitchen gadgets you need to make a home cooked meal. Smarts TVs in each room. Keurig coffee maker available in your unit, or a walk steps out the door to the local coffee shop. Located in the center of town and super convenient to area attractions. The building is home to a health and fitness studio you are welcome to use, as well as an outdoor courtyard area with Blackstone grill and patio table and chairs. The bedroom features a twin single bed plus a bunk bed with spacious double mattresses. All mattresses are new Additional sleeping is on the comfortable futon in the living room. There is an outdoor sink for anyone in need of cleaning up or cleaning game after a day of adventure. Many DVDs and TV are provided. no wifi.

Brand new and beautiful, this unique building (a remodeled semi trailer) is 100 yards away from two grain bins we remodeled. This building, named the Semi Cozy as well as the bins/silos are in a beautiful rural area yet conveniently close to Lewistown as well as other towns offering great restaurants and activities. This property is situated near the Spoon River and surrounded by farms and woods. If you're a wildlife enthusiast, you'll be in heaven. If you're not, you'll just plain enjoy the decor of our Semi home or our Grain Bin homes..... They all are beautifully unique and designed carefully for your comfort and amazing adventure. Each has a campfire and beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise.

Three unique stays exist on this property. Each offer plenty of parking . The driveway is shared, but each of the two grain bins and the semi home have their own unique keypad entry. Each have their own fire pit.
For a large party you can rent all three or just one at a time and perhaps make some friends with guests at the other units.....If you are the private type, we designed these to be sufficiently separate.
