- "This property was perfect for our family of 5 (50 years - 2 yrs). The space was open & welcoming (included a snack basket & k-cups, travel size shampoo & conditioner). Lots of bright open space inside & outside. Smart TV's in almost every room that kept us all happy. Pool table, dart board & some miscellaneous games were perfect for our time there. Screened in porch was really nice for happy hour & breakfast coffee. The only criticism was the kitchen, specifically had cabinets coming off of the hinges with chipped paint & a random selection of utensils/equipment, as well as cleaning products out & easily accessible to our toddler. Also, being barefoot downstairs let to very dirty white socks.That being said - it seems like a work in progress and we would return without hesitation."

The space
This spacious, luxury loft is part of the historic Reichert building that was built in 1879 by the Reichert Family. You will love the fine details of this historic loft, including the original, burled wood doors and impressive woodworking details throughout the second floor. The 2400 square foot second floor was once used as a mercantile and a boarding house. During Prohibition, the 2400 square foot third floor was converted to a speakeasy. The building was completely renovated while keeping the original trim, doors and windows.
In the commercial space below, we have a small venue space/wine/bourbon bar that has live music on Thursday through Saturday. The music is usually from 7-11pm. Most guests come down and enjoy.

Conveniently located near the metro station and just a short ride to downtown St. Louis, Scott Air Force Base, and Southwestern Community College (SWIC). Only a few blocks away from St. Clair County Courthouse.

The Bedrooms
We can sleep up to 8 guests in 4 separate bedrooms and one futon. One king bed, one queen bed, one double bed, one twin bed and one futon. One bathroom each floor. All rooms have multiple windows with ample natural lighting. Three of the bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Laundry
Washer and dryer are available for guest use, and are located on the third floor. Detergent is provided, free of charge.

Parking
The home has one private parking space, located in the back parking lot which is attached to the building. Additional street parking spots are available.

Accessibility & Security
There are 4 stairs outside the unit and roughly 28 stairs going up to the unit itself. From the second floor to the third floor also has stairway. The 2nd and 3rd floors do not have an elevator so you must be able to climb the staircase and carry luggage. This is a historic building, so the stairs are steep. Cameras are in the parking lot and entrance way of the building, including the foyer. Please note: only registered guests are allowed at the unit.

Added bonus, we have a small wine bar located in the commercial space below the loft. We have music Thursday-Saturday most weeks from 7-11pm.

- "If you have a large group this condo will be perfect for you, we had plenty of space for our two families. The condo is located in a historic older building with lots of charm. The main kitchen had everything you might need and the frig is huge. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are great sized and the water pressure in the showers is nice and strong. The condo is located right on Main Street and you can walk to shops, restaurants, and bars. Our host met us at check-in and was very nice showed everything and gave us some good recommendations. We will be back."

The living room has a large comfortable sofa where you can relax with a book or watch something on the 55inch Smart TV with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, HBO Max, etc. The open concept makes for a great comfortable environment. There is also a desk/workspace if you need to get some work done.

The kitchen has tons of space and everything you need to cook a gourmet meal or enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee in the fully stocked functional kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Enjoy the new built-in beverage center. There is seating for four at the center island, in addition to a four person seating dining table. There is also a laundry closet in dinning room w/ stackable washer/dryer.

There is 1 bathroom in the home. Features a tiled surround tub/shower combination. Check out the knotty pine ceiling in the bathroom!

The master bedroom has a queen size hybrid mattress, alarm clock, phone chargers. Dresser to store your belongings. Also an over the door hook to hang clothing. There are no TVs in the bedrooms.

The second and third bedrooms both feature a full size hybrid mattress, closet space with hangers and shelving for storage, alarm clocks, phone chargers. There are no TVs in the bedrooms.

The front porch offers a bench for morning coffee. Sliders in dinning room which leads to a patio to relax around the dinning set.

We had plenty of hot water and the a/c was great. Nice fans in the rooms. Loved the towels!
