Check in was quick ($20 refundable deposit) with 1 day of free wi-fi (unsure what they charge otherwise). The lobby was closed probably because of safety concerns (I've read about the staff not being too friendly, but it's probably understandable with some of the people they have to deal with) but the shared microwave is available to use on the outside hanging off the lobby wall. Plenty of parking. We inspected our room, the floor, bathroom, furniture, fridge and jacuzzi were all clean. Everything was working except the bathroom exhaust fan and one light bulb over the bed (no big deal). They made up our room while we were out, provided clean towels and washing supplies. Yeah, other guests can be kind of sketchy, so expect the occasional weirdo walking by, the smell of marijuana ect. Didn't see any bugs, no issues with the water or TV, bring your own coffee. Easily one of the cleaniest jacuzzis I've seen in a room. All in all, we would defintely stay again when we're in the area! "

The only major downfall of this VRBO was the neighbor that lives in the apartment just across from the unit. - "We liked this property" - "This site was fine for our short stay in California. However, I was not overly impressed with the site or owners. First off, no check in information was shared prior to our departure. VRBO site told us to contact the owner. I shouldn't have to contact the owner. Sure enough, no information was shared prior to our departure, I emailed via the VRBO site and still got no response. Finally, on day of departure, I texted the owner and finally got an answer. But even then, it was incomplete. The final code to access the property wasn't given until 6:30 pm. Luckily we were still enroute, but check-in time was 3pm. We could have arrived prior to actually having the code inhand to access the property. Other things: - There are no convenient electrical plugs. It was difficult to use appliances and chargers etc. - There wasn't a full set of glasses to use (1 glass, 2 wine glasses, etc). - Because there wasn't a dishwasher, we were expected to do dishes, which is fine. However, there was no sponge, dishcloth or dishtowels to use. - On top of that, there wasn't even bathroom washcloths or hand towels to use. - We had to use a bath towel to dry hands and dishes. - There was a hole in the comforter and no rug (as depicted in photo) in the bedroom."

- "We aren’t picky people, especially when it comes to a one night stay before we were off to our next stop. I think this place has a lot of potential and with it being a new listing I think it will only get better. However, the cleanliness of the apartment left a lot to be desired. The sheets in one room were permanently stained. To the hosts credit they offered to get replacements over. Unfortunately, discovering stained sheets right as you’re about to lay down to sleep is not ideal, and I opted to just quickly get to bed on the futon. It was just my elderly father and I on this trip and he reported that the shower drain backed up, and as such, took as quick a shower as he could so he didn’t have to stand in the pooled water long. I skipped the shower to escape the same experience. There were a number of other frustrations; however, the last item I’ll bother listing here is the discrepancy between the checkout instructions on the VRBO app and the instructions sent to me by the host. VRBO had checkout listed as 11am and the instructions sent by the host had 10am the checkout time. I hope these criticisms are handled constructively. Best of luck! Oh! And I forgot my hat there! :("

- "Would have been nice to know the “amenities” coat extra. No shampoo, conditioner, soap. No dishes or dish soap or towels unless you lay another 35. No towel service unless you pay extra. People were loud all the time. People left trash in the stairways and the “front desk” was closed after business hours and never answered the phone. Room was clean when we arrived and there was plenty in the area. NO ice machine in the place, which would have been nice since my son was there for a sporting competition. Overall it was fine to sleep and that’s about it. "

Only down fall is that there was no napkins available nor electric hand mixture in the kitchen area, over all area was peaceful. A lot of shopping centers to walk around. Will be staying here again!
