You are more than welcome to use the patio. The patio will be shared with my family and I.
Other things to note
- Our german shepherd dog will be in the backyard on a leash. He may bark at you but we tie him on a leash upon your arrival so that he doesn’t bother you.
Please let me know approximately what time you will be arriving so that I can make sure that he is on a leash.
If you are not comfortable being around dogs, our home may not be the best fit for you.
We try our best to keep him indoors but sometimes we need to keep him outside on a leash.
Please message me if you notice that he is not on a leash.
- There may be noise during the day due to the schools around our home and our dog may bark at times.
- You will have complete privacy when you are in your room. The only shared space will be the patio.
- Early check-in between 8AM-12PM: $35 extra (message me if you would like to check-in early)

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located space. You’ll be just minutes away by car from beautiful beaches, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, SoakCity, Universal Studios, Long Beach, Aquarium, the Queen Mary, Hollywood, Los Angeles, great shopping, etc. After exploring SoCal, cool off in the pool, relax in the hot tub or enjoy the fire place in the back yard.
The space
This listing is attached to our house. It contains a private bedroom and bathroom. Private entrance in the right side of the house. The living area is a converted 400 square foot garage containing the kitchen, dining area, coffee bar, Murphy bed and sofa sleeper. From the garage, there is an attached bathroom and bedroom. There is a locked door separating hosts from guests.
Guest access
Backyard hours: We are very flexible with backyard access. We just need to know what times guests want to use it so we can accommodate. The earliest is 10 am and the latest is 9 pm.
In the backyard, guests have access to the pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill, and table/chairs.
Also note that we have an outdoor cat named Pete the Cat. He is very friendly and may be in the back when you are.
Other things to note
Parking is provided in the driveway.
Full access to washing machine and dryer.
One pet allowed is dog only that is potty trained.
If requested, there is a $50 daily charge to heat pool. All use of the hot tub and pool are swim at your own risk.
