The unit is very private and relaxing once you get to it. You may hear the sound of trains passing by 2-3 times a day. Sometimes during evening and sometimes early morning. The neighborhood also have lovely pet dogs, so occasional dogs barking may occur. If you are sensitive and bothered by these types of noises, this may not be the right AirBnB for your stay.

**Guest Count & Quiet Hours:**
For everyone's comfort and safety, we have a maximum of four people allowed on the premises at any given time. We also observe quiet hours starting at 10 PM – perfect for a restful night's sleep!
**Parking**
You'll find free and safe street parking readily available right outside.
**Checking In & Out**
Early Check-in: If you'd like to check in early at 1 PM, there's a small $25 fee to cover the cost of expediting our cleaning service.
Late Check-out: Our standard check-out time is 10 AM. To ensure our cleaners have enough time to prepare for our next guests, a $25 fee will be applied for check-outs after this time.
**Departure**
When you check out, please leave the bedroom door open and simply place your room key on the door.
**Guest Count Accuracy**
Our pricing is set for two guests. If your party includes a third or fourth person, there's an additional $20 per night charge per person. To ensure a smooth stay and avoid any issues, please make sure your Airbnb booking accurately reflects the total number of guests in your party. If the number of guests differs from your booking, Airbnb will automatically adjust the charge, and a review will reflect this. Brand new, private guesthouse duplex in El Monte featuring large windows in the living areas and a bedroom with walk-in bathroom. The guesthouse has brand new kitchen, bathroom and AC (mini split). There is plenty of natural light in the dedicated workspace area, perfect for those working from home while traveling. The house is close to the 10 freeway which connects you easily with all of Los Angeles. You will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Enjoy your stay!
The space
The main door for this unit is facing the cul de sac off the street. You will step into the kitchen as soon as you walk in through the door. The kitchen is L-shaped layout with the sink against one wall and the stove and fridge against the adjacent wall.
The kitchen sink is a single bowl. A dish drying rack is provided for your convenience of drying dishes. Plates and cups are in the door cupboards and dishware is in the drawers. We have a spice rack for your convenience. Pots and pans are also stored in the cabinets. We have a small dining table for your use.
The living room / dedicated work space is across from the kitchen. It has a sofa bed with storage. Pull up on the bottom tab to flatten the sofa bed and access the storage area. Living room has no TV.
The workspace table had a chair for your use. And this place has lots of windows for natural ventilation.
The bedroom has a walk in bathroom and a small clothes storage area. The bed frame has drawer storage. The bed mattress is queen size and has side tables with lamps.
Both spaces have a heating/cooling mini split system controlled by a remote.

This is half of a duplex. Therefore please keep in the area by the cul de sac. The other side of the duplex is not guest accessible.

Street parking only. Please note the posted street cleaning signs. Cleaning on our side of the street is on Thursday mornings. Please move your car to the other side of the street to avoid a ticket. In the afternoon, you can move it back.
