- The maximum capacity for the Dahlia house is 43 people. Under no circumstances are more than 43 people allowed on the property at any time.
- Must be at least 30 years old to book and the average guest age must be 30 or older.
- Quiet Hours from 10pm to 8am are strictly enforced. Absolutely no amplified equipment may be used outdoors other than the on-site A/V system.
- Events of any kind are prohibited at this property, no exceptions.
- No excessive noise, fireworks, or hunting allowed.
- No High School, Prom, College, or MBA groups.
- No smoking inside the house or on the property.
- The pool is typically open May 1-October 31, depending on the weather. Hot tubs are open all year!

We had our fishing boat and needed to charge our batteries. When we arrived she had strung a cord and it was hanging on the fence for us to use. As we entered the space it was refreshing to find everything neatly done and very clean. The Murphy bed was awesome! The loft is tight. I am still in disbelief that my son and I both took a turn sleeping up there. I am 6’1 and 220 lbs and my son is both taller and heavier. The day after our stay I received a text from the owner asking if we had left some shirts and if we would like her to send them to us. I replied yes, and in a few days I received them in the mail folded, packaged nicely and they smelled like she had washed them. Thank you Doris for being such a great hostess. This is a nice, little, clean space. Yes, we would stay again."

Spring and Fall, the nearby dam separating Lake Chapin from the St. Joseph River become a world-class hotspot for reeling in salmon and steelhead. Driveway parking is available for up to 5 vehicles.

The kitchen is fully equipped for whipping up a feast. Downstairs we also have ping pong and air hockey tables ready for family fun. The large backyard beckons with a charcoal grill and fire pit. Please note that an RV is stored on the property.

The guest count you provide must be accurate as there can be additional guest fees. Notify us if you need to adjust the guest count before arrival. A fine of $25 per night will be applied for each undeclared guest.

Reminder: If a guest missed the checkout time, additional fees will be added. If more than 2 hours past checkout, we will charge for an additional day.

Also please note that the property uses well water. The water is softened and filtered, but it still contains natural minerals that may smell different from what you're used to.
