There was also a black out curtain in my second room, although not in my first. Because you can see into the rooms from outside, that should be fixed. The only other downsides I found were that the showers don’t have a shelf to place items. I had to put things on the floor outside the door. But they do provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The shower floor looked stained but clean. Also, the heater filter looked like it had never been cleaned. I’ve never seen one so dirty. But overall, a shoutout to Sam, the person who cleans and makes up the rooms. Everything else was great. The neighborhood was not the greatest, but I never felt unsafe. The hotel is on a busy street but there’s a light accessible for left turns, which is really handy. If I need an overnight stay in South Bend again, this will be my first choice. "
