It is directly connected to the Great Room of the Lodge through French doors but can be accessed by all guests staying at the property through various other doors of the pool room including members staying in the Colonial, the Cottage and the Camp, if anyone is staying in those locations at the same time. Hours of private access to the pool can be scheduled after booking. It is highly likely that you will be able to get the pool privately booked for your entire stay, just ask!
The Lodge has a kitchenette, with a sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, an electric cook top and various other appliances. There is not a full range or oven in the kitchenette.

Our five-bedroom house is the perfect retreat for large families or groups of friends looking to relax and explore the area. The house is about an hour and a half drive from NYC.

Inside, you'll find a grand open-plan living and dining area, complete with a fireplace and plenty of natural light. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and plenty of counter space for cooking and entertaining. Each of the five bedrooms has comfortable beds that will leave you and your guests well-rested, and there are two full bathrooms and a half bathroom in the main house and an additional full bathroom in the pool room.

Redding is a small town located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, known for its rural atmosphere, natural beauty, and "small town big outdoors" ethos. With a population of approximately 9,000 people, Redding is situated about 50 miles north of New York City. The town is home to a number of parks and recreational areas, including Collis P. Huntington State Park, Putnam Memorial State Park, and the Mark Twain Library, offering residents and visitors ample opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. Putnam Memorial State Park is a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, and historical interpretation, as it was the training ground for the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. In addition to its natural beauty, Redding is also home to a number of historic sites, including the Community Center, which was once a schoolhouse, and the Redding Town Hall, which dates back to the 18th century.
By booking the rental property through Airbnb, the Guest agrees to the following Terms and Restrictions by the Owner. Violations of any Rules are subject to prosecution and/or cancellation with no refund.

(1) House Rules:

(1.A) Guest may not hold an event or party at any time. The maximum number of guests allowed to stay at the property is 10. We may approve up to 5 additional registered visitors to stop by during your stay if requested upon booking.

(1.B) Smoking is not permitted on the Property (inside or outside).

(1.C) Animals or pets are not permitted on the Property.

(1.D) We may employ active noise detection technology to monitor excessive noise.

(1.E) Garbage/Recycling must be placed in the proper receptacles in the shed and sealed. Collections are Monday Mornings at around 7 am.

(1.F) Guest may not visit the property prior to check-in date/time listed.

(1.G) Guest may not block the driveway as this will prevent vital utility delivery services from accessing the property.

(1.H) Guest agrees to all rules for themselves and their complete party. If any person in the Rental Party fails to follow any of the Rules, the Rental Party may be asked to vacate the Property and the Guest will forfeit all rent paid.

(2) Use at Own Risk.

(2.A) Guest acknowledges that there are certain risks associated with Swimming Pools. Use of the Swimming Pool is at the user’s own risk, and Owner will be held harmless and will not be responsible for any injuries.

(2.B) Guest acknowledges that there are certain risks associated with using a Steam Room. Use of the Steam Room is at the user’s own risk, and Owner will be held harmless and will not be responsible for any injuries.

(2.C) Guest acknowledges that there are certain risks associated with the use of Exercise Equipment. Use of the Exercise Equipment is at the user’s own risk, and Owner will be held harmless and will not be responsible for any injuries.

(3) Acts of God. If there is a storm or severe weather and a mandatory evacuation order is issued by state or local authorities, Guest shall be entitled to a prorated refund for each night Guest is unable to occupy the Property. Owner will not be liable or deemed in default under this Agreement for any failure to perform or delay in performing any of its obligations due to or arising out of any act not within its control, including, without limitation, acts of God.

(4) Violation of Agreement. If Guest or any member of the Rental Party violates any of the terms of this Agreement, including but not limited to maximum occupancy, visitors and rental rules and restrictions, Owner may evict Guest and the Rental Party from the Property and Guest will forfeit all rent and security deposit paid.

(5) Limitation on Liability. Owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur to any member of the Rental Party or Guest’s visitors while in the Property or on the Property. Owner is not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables belonging to any member of the Rental Party or any of Guest’s visitors. Guest agrees to assume the risk of any harm arising from use of the Property. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL OWNER BE LIABLE TO GUEST OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR GUEST’S RENTAL OF THE PROPERTY OR USE OF THE PROPERTY. IN NO EVENT WILL OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF OWNER SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

(6) Indemnification. Guest acknowledges that the use of the Property by the Rental Party and Guest’s visitors is entirely at their own risk. Guest will indemnify and hold harmless Owner from any and all expenses, costs, damages, suits, actions, or liabilities whatsoever arising from or related to any and all loss of or damage to personal property, injury or death resulting from the use or occupancy of the Property or the failure of any member of Rental Party or Guest’s visitors to observe the Rules and restrictions

(7) No Waiver. Neither Owner nor Guest shall be deemed to have waived any provision of this Agreement or the exercise of any rights held under this Agreement unless such waiver is made expressly and in writing.

(8) Governing Law. This Agreement and all transactions contemplated by this Agreement will be governed by, and constructed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut (not including its conflicts of laws provisions). Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through mediation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, then the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

(9) Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the remaining provisions shall not be affected and shall continue to be valid and enforceable as though the invalid or unenforceable parts had not been included in this Agreement.
