Simple, clean, freshly painted room on the ground floor, with a bed, a work desk, a love seat, a small closet and shelves. A private entrance/exit with no stairs leads through the garden to the driveway. The bathroom has a standup shower and a window to the backyard. The owner lives in the house but the room/bath are completely private.

- "I was a great stay." - "This is by far the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. Nothing is as advertised. For starters, the bed is not a bed. It is a pile of old lawn cushions laid over wooden slats with a sheet thrown over it. The pillow is old, dirty and completely flat. I asked for a second one and got given another flat old pillow with no pillow case.. The towels are completely threadbare. The room was dark, damp and smelled awful. The curtains and carpet were filthy and moldy. The wallpaper is falling off the walls.. There is no nightstand. As for the host, he could not have been more rude. He is completely unconcerned. Unlike the listing, you do not have access to the kitchen, which is filthy, or any of the rest of the house. You may only sit at the pool as long as it is not being rented by the hour, which it always was, and only for an hour a day, with prior permission. The internet kept cutting out for hours at a time, so working is impossible. Overall, this was a horrible experience. Stay elsewhere."

Great kitchen I've seen with great cookware and knives. Layout was ideal with lots of open space to play. The access to the river was beautiful and perfect for a place to play close to the house. Hot tub in the woods was a perfect add! VRBO forced me to create a new password which was a problem 4. the owner didn't tell me how to enter until after 3:00 which made me anxious... 5. 4:00 check in time is later than anywhere else. 3 is much more usual and it was a problem 6. I asked the owner about a place to walk and he told me a place which was completely different from what I had asked. IT required me to walk on a main road. "

Like grilling, we have a 400+ sqf deck and gas grill overlooking the Saugatuck. The property is surrounded by large trees and water on the perimeter and is a bird watcher's paradise. The front yard has a spacious flat lawn great for the kids with beaver brook running down the side complete with a small waterfall. The backyard also has a large lawn, deck and 300+ feet river shoreline!

This property is the perfect spot to get away from it all without being far from civilization!

This beautiful centrally located 7,000 sf luxury coastal colonial farmhouse sits on 2+ acres in property with expansive private gardens and only few mins away from beaches, the train to NYC and downtown Westport. Fresh vegetables & chicken eggs available from the gardens to our guests. The 8 bedrooms include 1 king, 3 queens, 1 trundle daybed, 1 bunk bed, 3 twins, and 1crib. However if you are feeling adventurous there is an amazing downtown with many stores and restaurants. Kayaking, hiking, fishing, ice skating, tennis, golf course all 5-10 mins away. And it’s only an hour to NYC where we regularly go for the day or to the ski slopes.
