It is situated a stone’s throw from the glorious Bigbury Beach with its soft sands, rock pools and tidal island and in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty next to the South West Coast Path.
Relax on the comfortable window seat and private south-west facing balcony and enjoy spectacular views out to sea and of beautiful Burgh Island with the iconic art deco Burgh Island Hotel and the 14th century Pilchard Inn.
The apartment has recently been newly furnished and refurbished with modern kitchen and bath/shower rooms, oak Karndean flooring, spotlights and restyling of interiors throughout. Flooded with natural light, the spacious dual aspect open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge have everything you need for a comfortable holiday including under floor heating for those cooler months.
The bright and modern kitchen is shaker style and is fully equipped for the keenest cook and includes induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, separate freezer and washing machine/tumble dryer. There are a range of quality gadgets available to use including a nespresso coffee machine.
The pleasant dining area has table and chairs to seat 4 and looks out through sliding doors, across the balcony and to the splendid views beyond.
The spacious lounge is furnished to a very high standard with two comfortable sofas and an upholstered window seat, with plump scatter cushions and throws. Entertainment needs are taken care of with a wall mounted 55” OLED Panasonic flat screen smart TV with UK free-sat channels, and Panasonic Blu Ray DVD player. A DVD library is provided together with a supply of board games and books for those days of inclement weather or for cosy nights in. Entering at the upper level, a spacious hallway leads into the stunning open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. This beautifully designed room with high ceilings has panoramic views over the sea and Burgh Island through floor to ceiling glazed bi-folding balcony doors. The area includes a spacious and comfortable lounge and a modern eight person dining room table and chairs. There is a large and generously equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.
Stairs from the Hall lead down to four double bedrooms at the lower level. Two ‘super king’ sized doubles (one zip & link), both with en-suite shower rooms and with direct access to the garden and views to the sea. There is also one king size bedroom, a large twin bedroom and a family bathroom. An additional guest cloakroom is located on the ground floor.
Outside there is a good sized enclosed garden to relax in, including a large patio with barbecue, outdoor table and chairs. A six person hot tub is situated on a raised platform designed to enjoy the stunning views across Bigbury Bay.

It’s equipped with a smart American-style fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, microwave, two electric ovens, an induction hob, and a coffee machine. Meanwhile, French windows lead out to the garden - perfect for alfresco summer lunches. Next door to the kitchen is a convenient cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble drier.
Three of the four bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with their own television and DVD player. There are two double rooms with King Size beds - one with an en suite shower room and the other with double doors into the garden. There’s also a twin room and a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
Head upstairs and you will find a superb living room with two large L-shaped sofas, television, and magnificent sea views as well as skylights that flood the room with natural light. - "The Sykes Cottage company had previous house managers on their contact list so I had to go round the houses to contact the correct lady, Laura who is brilliant at communication. Sykes had on their website that 3pm was the check in time but we were told when we got there that it was 4pm. Sykes company just need to tweak their info. Property itself superb superb size and lovely sized garden with great sea and sunset views, for me, my wife and 3 kids, 6, 13, 15. Property could do with a couple of minor updates, which may be in hand,, I.e a couple of blown double glazing panes that interrupt the main event, that is the views. Overall though we would definitely go back"

The apartment sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a double with en suite bathroom with over head shower and a twin, plus a shower room. On the same level is a sitting room with a dining area and a balcony and a kitchen. Outside, as well as the balcony is a shared lawn garden. Just 350 yards from the glorious beach, 3 Tarifa is a splendid apartment for a brilliant seaside holiday in South Devon. Note: Booking must start on a Friday. No short breaks.
