Trout species in the Watauga River are Rainbow, Brook and Brown. There are also various non-game species. This property is almost halfway down the river. It is perfect for taking a lunch break, refilling the cooler, or just stretching your legs before you continue down stream.

Did I mention that right outside the back door of this property is what I call "The Church Hole?" Fisherman almost always stop to fish this location and usually catch something. You can also sit on the bank and just cast a few if you aren't up for wading in the river.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch looking out at the peaceful pond right out front. The two pond fountains sound amazing and add tranquility. This one bedroom one bath cabin has been meticulously maintained and is always meticulously cleaned and rental ready. 5 Blocks from the Watauga River, some of the best trout fishing in the entire country is feet away. Wireless internet, Samsung 75" Ultra 4k UHDTV with surround sound, 42" HDTV in master bedroom, excellent cell service (AT&T), outdoor fire pit/ grill combo and a Charbroil electric grill. The futon in the den will sleep two more (double bed), master bedroom sleeps two (King). Dish Network satellite HDTV service with more than 200 channels to chose from.

Update: 8/3/2023 The cabin was just re-stained, as well as the wood around the pond, 15 green giants were added, 30 led landscape lights, and landscaping timbers, as well as the fire pit.

We updated the entire cabin in 2022 with all new leather furniture in the den. We used a local interior designer to give the cabin a complete makeover. The leather couch has two recliners, plus there is a single leather recliner. All of the ceiling fans and outdoor light fixtures are brand new. The bedroom was updated with new flooring, paint, new king size bedroom suit and decor. We added a 24,000 BTU HVAC mini split system for heat and air, which is very quiet and comfortable. The mantle is an amazing piece of artwork that looks like museum. We also installed a 5 x 10 dog kennel behind the cabin with a dog house. We added landscape lighting around the cabin as well as solar lighting around the pond. It is amazing at night! The cabin features unique trophy heads including a Moose, Red Stag, Deer, Antelope, Turkey and Fish. The trophies were shot by William Crawford who built the cabin in 2005.

Its an incredible location at the base of a mountain, and it faces another mountain. There are no cabins next to you or behind you, and a huge field for dogs to play in. The cabin has a brand new metal roof and was just re-stained. The pond gets water from a newly installed solar pump and the pond fountain is also powered by solar energy. The pond was completely rebuilt in the fall of 2021 and spring of 2022, with a brand new liner and new wood all the way around, stained to match the cabin. The old fences seen in some photos have been removed and soon green giant trees will be planted along the roadway. Please don't throw trash or any debris into the pond. The best fishing is 1000 feet away on the Watauga River. You can park at Riverside Baptist church and fish the river anytime except during church hours.

The house itself is in a perfect location on the middle of the river and close to town. Provides close access to many stretches of the river and a quick 25 minutes to the SoHo. Maybe I missed something, would not be the first time. I'd also suggest a small bookcase or shelves below the TV to put clothes on, so guests don't have to work out of their suitcases. Cabin built in 2017 . Two Bedrooms on main level one queen other full size beds - one bath - sleeping loft with full size bed. Fully furnished Kitchen. Linens and towels for four guests for one week supplied. Former Guests give 5 star ratings. On the river with 1000 ft of pristine frontage. Absolutely beautiful cabin on the Watauga River. Our mountain themed cabin is minutes from Johnson City and around 20 minutes from the Bristol Motor Speedway and Casino. This cabin has a loft ideal for kids, a kitchen, a gorgeous front porch, a smart tv, and WIFI. You can enjoy fishing and hiking among other activities in the area.

Boone Lake, South Holston Lake and River are also just a short drive away. This area also provides many access points to the Appalachian Trail within a short drive as well as many other hiking trails to lookouts, waterfalls and nature hotspot. Ski Resorts in Beech Mountain, NC and Sugar Mountain, NC are less than 40 miles away. The iconic Bristol Motor Speedway is just 17 minutes from our driveway. Some of our personal favorite short drive day trips are to Blowing Rock, NC (52 miles), Boone, NC (47 miles), Banner Elk, NC (33 miles), Grandfather Mountain (29 miles), Linn Cove Viaduct (41 miles), and The Blue Ridge Parkway (@ 40 milles). There are also shopping options in downtown Bristol (State Street divides TN and VA), The Pinnacle Shops (20 miles), and Johnson City (8 miles). Walk, run or bike the Tweetsie Trail which connects Elizabethton to Johnson City by beautiful trail.

This Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath town home feels just like home. Located in the heart of Elizabethton, Tennessee, "F Street and Chill" is a space with all the feels of home.

This is a 2 story Town House packed full of all of the necessities of home.

Downstairs is the Living room with the coziest sectional and gold velvet arm chairs. Don’t forget the 70” smart TV. It’s the perfect place to completely relax and chill.

The full kitchen includes Fridge, Stove, oven, Microwave, and dishwasher. We equipped it with all the utensils, pots, pans, and dishes one would need! Just bring your favorite foods and settle right in. The cutest little corner nook table takes the cake. That table is waiting for your family to enjoy a quick breakfast or lunch! Just off the kitchen is the first full bath including a shower.

The largest of the 3 bedrooms is also located on the first floor. This bedroom includes a King sized Bed, Fireplace, TV, and dedicated workspace. The laundry room is also located in this room.
From this room, step out onto the private back patio that perfect for a quiet night under the cafe lights.

Upstairs includes two other bedrooms. The first room has a queen sized bed, two closets, and a dresser. This is our favorite room in the house with simple Sage green walls and natural tones, it asks your to just relax. Includes a 50” smart TV and it’s own access to the upstairs bath.

The other bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk with a twin trundle. This room also has a good sized closet bean bags, and a book shelf with games and toys. This bedroom also has private access to the upstairs bath.

These two bedrooms share a large jack-n-jill bathroom with bathtub and shower, and more than enough vanity space for a whole family to share!

If you choose to stay close by, hop on your bike and travel along the Tweetsie Trail that takes you to Johnson City or walk Elizabethton’s historic downtown and enjoy shops and local restaurants.

The new tiny cabin is 250 sq ft with unique sleeping loft with full size bed accessed by ladder. On the main level full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, and bunk beds if you prefer. Large front porch overlooking river, fire pit, and outside eating area.

This larger rental cabin was built in 2017. There are two bedrooms on main level (one queen and other full sized beds) with a sleeping loft with full sized bed. Fully furnished kitchen. One bath. Linens and towels for four guests for one week are supplied.

A beautiful two-story home built in 1900 recently remodeled throughout and located four blocks from downtown Elizabethton, Tennessee. Once you arrive, you will be amazed by the wrap around front porch with a porch swing and tables. The first floor features a large living, dining room, great size kitchen, half bath, den and private master bedroom with master bath. Upstairs are 3 bdrms, large hall bath. This home is so cozy, the layout is great, parking is in the back and has a good size yard. Master bedroom with private bath on the main level. Upstairs, one bedroom with single twin bed, second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the 3rd has a queen bed.
