The air conditioning on the top floor struggled to keep that room cool during the day, but to be fair, the days were about 100 degrees while we were there, and it was always cool enough for sleeping at night. - "I was a bit worried about renting a place with no reviews, but since the host had good reviews on other properties decided to take the chance. So glad we did, as this made a wonderful stop for my son and I on on our cross country road trip after several nights in cheap highway motels. The place is brand new and comfortably furnished. It is in an RV campground which was super quiet except for fireworks in the neighborhood at night (we were there right around July 4). The kitchen has the basics but could have been better equipped (I wanted to bake something in the oven and there were no baking dishes). Easy to get to both entrances to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and convenience stores, gas and a restaurant nearby. Recommend!"

This property is great for hunters and families!

- "Plenty of space to kick back and relax after a full day of hunting. Cell service is lacking in most areas around there but the WiFi worked perfectly and we were able to communicate through that. Linda was great trying to help organize a "rescue party" when we managed to slide off the side of a "gumbo mud" road. The sunrise is spectacular from inside having coffee but you'll want to step outside to take in the entire view. If I ever make it back out there, I'll be contacting Linda again."

- "We were excited to find this beautiful lake house for a long weekend family getaway with our adult kids. The property was exactly as pictured online (which is not always the case). The hosts were very responsive and helpful prior to check in and we had no issues during our stay. We had five adults and had plenty of room to relax, definitely could fit more people if your group is larger. Everything we needed was provided, and there were so many thoughtful touches, like little baskets of toiletries we might have forgotten. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils needed to make meals there, as well as a grill and fire pit on the patio with a wonderful view. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and towels, all of which were of good quality. There are many activities to enjoy in the surrounding area - highly recommend visiting nearby Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Bully Pulpit Golf Course in Medora! Gorgeous views at both. We had a family tennis tournament at courts which were a short drive away. There is also a golf course right across the street but we ran out of time to try that one. We highly recommend this rental and will definitely return if we are back in the area! Thanks for a great getaway!"

- "I stayed at Teddy's Log Cabin for two nights while I explored the nearby national park. The cabin was cozy and had everything I needed for my stay. There is a full-size kitchen, laundry area (I didn't use it, but it's there), high-speed internet, and a smart TV with all the streaming apps you could possibly need. The cabin is very close to the national park, which is beautiful. They also offer e-bike rental at their property. I highly recommend Teddy's Log Cabin. The only I didn't really care for was the wall AC being right above my head in the bedroom and I wish it were on the other window; other than that the stay was perfect. "
