So glad we did, as this made a wonderful stop for my son and I on on our cross country road trip after several nights in cheap highway motels. The place is brand new and comfortably furnished. It is in an RV campground which was super quiet except for fireworks in the neighborhood at night (we were there right around July 4). The kitchen has the basics but could have been better equipped (I wanted to bake something in the oven and there were no baking dishes). Easy to get to both entrances to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and convenience stores, gas and a restaurant nearby. Recommend!"

- "We were excited to find this beautiful lake house for a long weekend family getaway with our adult kids. The property was exactly as pictured online (which is not always the case). The hosts were very responsive and helpful prior to check in and we had no issues during our stay. We had five adults and had plenty of room to relax, definitely could fit more people if your group is larger. Everything we needed was provided, and there were so many thoughtful touches, like little baskets of toiletries we might have forgotten. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils needed to make meals there, as well as a grill and fire pit on the patio with a wonderful view. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and towels, all of which were of good quality. There are many activities to enjoy in the surrounding area - highly recommend visiting nearby Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Bully Pulpit Golf Course in Medora! Gorgeous views at both. We had a family tennis tournament at courts which were a short drive away. There is also a golf course right across the street but we ran out of time to try that one. - "I stayed at Teddy's Log Cabin for two nights while I explored the nearby national park. The cabin was cozy and had everything I needed for my stay. There is a full-size kitchen, laundry area (I didn't use it, but it's there), high-speed internet, and a smart TV with all the streaming apps you could possibly need. The cabin is very close to the national park, which is beautiful. They also offer e-bike rental at their property. I highly recommend Teddy's Log Cabin. The only I didn't really care for was the wall AC being right above my head in the bedroom and I wish it were on the other window; other than that the stay was perfect. "

Includes two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, one full bathroom with tub and shower, full kitchen stocked with everything you might need, washer/dryer, living area with table and chairs, sofa bed, TV and all the comforts of home! Walking distance to parks, downtown, DSU, Sanford sports complex, West River Community Center, and downtown restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. If you go to your left there’s the kitchen and dining room. If you go to your right there’s the bathroom, laundry room and a bedroom. This cozy little apartment has all you need for a relaxing night in.

Under 10 miles to Dickinson and just 20 minutes to Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Sites are in town, just two miles off the interstate. Beautiful small town with community pride!
