- "Great" - "We booked our room above this friendly pub at the last minute, as it offered great value for money. It's a very short walk from the seafront, and the town centre. This is an old building, with uneven floors. Room 5 was ensuite, and really spacious, but definitely not modern. It was clean, but the bed was very squeaky! There was a kettle in the room, with tea and coffee. No toiletries, other than soap. The shower was stuck on a very warm temperature. No breakfast available, but the lovely Chatterbox Cafe is a few steps away. We had dinner at the pub, which was excellent value for money (2 main meals for £12.49). Drinks are also really cheap. A bottle of prosecco was just £16! If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you’re looking for great value for money, and a bed for the night, this does the job. "

We had a gold chalet which was great,only complaint was that the bathroom was very small.Any larger person would struggle to squeeze into the toilet space and the main sink was a tiny hand sink.We did have an issue with the toilet leaking, but this was sorted very promptly by the very friendly and efficient staff. Entertainment was great in the clubhouse and we spent every night at the facilities. They even had ev charging on site which was handy for us. Only issue with that, was non electric cars were parked in the ev designated spaces and even though i mentioned this to reception, this was an ongoing issue that didnt get resolved.Will definitely be back.Overall a great site. Well done all."
