- "Unfortunately, the pool was closed and we are unsure why because we want to take our 10-month-old daughter to the pool for the first time however the bed was rather hard but for a brand new property that’s been open for a little over a month. - "We chose Friendly City as a stopover driving from Boston to Atlanta and could not have been more delighted. The innkeeper was lovely, the room was very comfortable with everything you might need from hairdryer to iron and ironing board. The space
The Washhouse is located on our small farmette in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Since it was the original wash house it sets near our Victorian home and has been renovated into a quaint and cozy cottage. Ground level entrance and a first floor bedroom and bathroom make this a handicap friendly space.

The space is 900 sq feet studio basement apt. with your own entrance and patio. It is net zero , energy efficient, space with a sleeping, sitting, dinning and TV areas(direct TV and Chrome Cast).

The kitchenette is equipped with everything you might need - a mini fridge, microwave, convection toaster oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, crock pot, outside electric grill. Coffee and paper products supplied. Our well water is filtered and sanitized with UV light. No need to bring bottled water. We have a induction counter cooker for stove top cooking, but ask for that amenity, as proper use is important.
