We didn’t cook but if we did there wasn’t anything that we would’ve needed except for food. Upstairs were 2 bedrooms with a bathroom joining between to allow privacy. One bedroom with a queen and a separate bunk. My daughter loved having that room to herself with the large TV. The master was stunning, with its own in room bathroom and claw foot tub with a breathtaking view. We definitely will return to take full advantage of that gorgeous tub. Everything was perfection. The only downside was not staying longer, which we will definitely do in the future. Adam was a wonderful host and easily reachable if needed. "

Definitely recommend this relaxing getaway." - "Really cute getaway spot surrounded by all kinds of farm animals and fun things to do on the grounds: zip line, paddle boat, walks around, etc. The cabin is above the barn with one full bedroom and a queen futon. We had our oldest sleep on the futon and our youngest sleep on a small blow up on the floor. Of note if you have littles, there is only a shower, not a tub. The kitchen is more for breakfast/simple lunch than preparing full dinners, so I would recommend dinners out in Harrisonburg, and there are tons of delicious spots to eat out there, our favorite being Boboko, Bella Luna, and Cuban Burger. It was the perfect springboard for exploring the natural landscape around, including Riven Rock Park with a splashable river, and the Melrose Caverns only about 10 minutes away. The JMU Botanical Gardens were a lovely stroll, with the kids' garden being a huge hit with our kids. Lots of good coffee shops in Harrisonburg. Gabe's Getaway was a really great, tucked away little spot, and you could tell how loved all of their animals are."

Check out this modern log home settled on the hilltop of a 140-acre farm with captivating views. This cape cod is equipped with central heat and air-conditioning as well as a soapstone wood stove to enjoy in the main living area. You will be amazed with the addition of the sun room that provides a second living area while highlighting a 180 degree vista from the windows.

The house features three comfortable bedrooms. The first upstairs bedroom contains a king bed with a pack 'n play available if needed. The second upstairs bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed as well as a desk and chair for working by the window view. Full bathrooms are located on both floors. The bunk room is on the main level providing a twin over full bunk bed along with a relaxing hammock chair!

In addition to clean towels, sheets and soaps being provided, there is a laundry room on the main floor for your convenience.

The log home has a complete kitchen with new appliances and all the tools you will need to create meals onsite for your friends and family. We are five minutes from our small town with a few local eating and shopping options. You may stock up on supplies with an eight minute drive to grocery stores, pharmacy, and other shopping. While being surrounded by country life we are a mere 20 minutes from the city, complete with many popular and local shopping and dining choices. This city is the home of James Madison University, Bridgewater College and Eastern Mennonite University.

- "We LOVED this cabin. Amazingly clean, well stocked, they left out a bottle of wine for us at check-in. We had an issue getting into the door (at no fault of the owner) and they called us IMMEDIATELY to help us with the code. We had a blast enjoying nature, relaxing in the hot tub, exploring the area. There was the cutest deer and her two fawns outside every morning. A hummingbird following me around. I felt like Snow White. 😂♥️ Would absolutely recommend this to everyone! Premium gas cook stove, Bosch dishwasher and Granite countertops make the kitchen a dream to cook in. I have plenty of cookware and serving dishes to make a gourmet family meal.

For very small dogs, you may want to keep an eye on the fence between the house and the barn as there are some small gaps at the bottom of the gate.

My house is a 1928 craftsman style Sears kit house! With impressive woodwork, tall ceilings and beautiful staircase. It has mostly hardwood floors, but also heated floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. There are five bedrooms, two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and a full bedroom downstairs. Three full bathrooms, two with custom walk in showers, and the third with a whirlpool bathtub. All linens and towels are provided. The house sits perched 40 foot above the North Fork of The Shenandoah River. It is an easy 2 to 3 minute walk down to the river. Where you can enjoy fishing, kayaking.( bring your own.) and canoeing.(bring your own.) or just throwing rocks in the river . The house boasts a large front and back porch with seats to enjoy listening to the river at night, or the birds singing during the day. There is a fire pit outback and a family sized barbecue grill. There is another sitting area on the side of the house. The kitchen is a fully equipped Cook’s kitchen with a double oven , one being a convection oven. There is a Keurig coffee pot and a regular drip coffee pot, with coffee provided. The cupboards have a full array of spices for your usage in the summer. You can find fresh herbs out back. The house is located approximately 35 minute drive from Massanutten resort and waterpark. It is also close to Bryce resort. James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, and Bridgewater College are all within a 15 minute drive. The Shenandoah national Park is close by with many activities to partake in. The house is the last house located in the Town Of Broadway. There is grocery shopping close by ,antique shopping , and restaurants in town. There is a large public pool in the summer. And beautiful parks. In the summer, the Town Of Broadway hosts, music, festivals, old car shows, and craft festivals.

The Space

Timberville Log Cabin is a custom-built log home tucked away in the heart of Shenandoah Valley. Built from the finest materials and with great attention to detail you will feel right at home with your family and friends. Enjoy the tranquility and peace at this log cabin!

The cabin is approximately 3200 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 12 people (optional +2 person on the futon in the loft).

Fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker, 8 burner stove and dual oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, Keurig and Nespresso coffee machines, electric kettle, various pots and pans, dishes and utensils.

BASEMENT:

The basement game room includes a smart TV, pool table, foosball table, and bar stool with plenty of games to enjoy!

There is a loft with a futon upstairs and a dedicated workspace.

Please keep in mind, that the house is CHILD FRIENDLY, BUT NOT CHILD PROOFED. There is a small log cabin replica with a child kitchen outside.

Hot Tub is available for all guests and a firepit and firewood are available for use. A gas grill is provided with gas. IMPORTANT:
This is a cabin in the woods - that means there are lots of bugs, especially in the summertime. Please keep all of this in mind - this home is a cabin and not a hotel suite in the city. Even as careful and clean as we try to keep the cabin (pest control comes every month), some of those bugs will find their way into the house. The best way to minimize the number of bugs inside is to keep all the doors closed at all times. You must also carefully clean up the kitchen every night and securely package up all food to keep out bugs. DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE - THIS WILL ATTRACT WILD ANIMALS.

WIFI/CELL SERVICE:
- WiFi is available through satellite internet. Please keep in mind, it will not be as fast and as reliable as regular cable internet. We can't guarantee speed and reliability. Due to the unique location of the cabin, it is impossible to get standard wifi service.
- There is great cell service at the property so there shouldn’t be any issues.

AGE 25 OR OLDER TO BOOK: The guest booking the property must be 25 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request a photo or scan of a government-issued photo ID. The guest who books must stay at the property--you may not book for others if you do not intend to stay at the property.

NUMBER OF GUESTS: Only the specific guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises. A violation of this rule will result in the immediate removal of all guests (and any visitors) from the property without a refund. It is important to have the correct number of guests in the reservation, so please update accordingly if the number changes after you first book. The cabin comfortably sleeps 12.

PETS: Pets are allowed at the property with an additional fee ($100/stay). Guests will need to disclose this to ensure we properly clean the property for the following guests.

NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES AND ACTIVITIES: Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction from the property. Guests agree that any drug use on the property or any use of the Property for any unlawful purpose or violation of any law or ordinance on or about the Property will immediately terminate the occupancy and be grounds for immediate eviction from the Property. Guests shall be liable for any and all costs incurred by the Host and a refund will not be provided for the remaining balance of the stay.

SMOKING: Smoking is never allowed inside the property. A $200.00/day penalty will be incurred if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered after the guest checks out. As this home is entirely built from logs, if you would like to smoke, please smoke at least 25 feet from the property and properly put out and dispose of.

NO FIREWORKS:
Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the grounds and in the event of fireworks being used, you will be required to vacate the property without a refund and will be fined accordingly.

ADDITIONAL CLEANING IS AN EXTRA CHARGE:
At the sole discretion of the host, an additional cleaning fee of $90.00 if additional clean-up is required that goes above the standard cleaning.

GUEST AGREES TO PAY FOR DAMAGES EXCEEDING DEPOSIT:
Any damage made to property or furnishings which exceeds the deposit amount will be billed to the guest and will be reported to Airbnb.

WATER AND SEPTIC:
The property uses private wells and septic systems. The mineral content in the water may be high and the well water may have an odor and/or color. The septic system is effective under normal conditions; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. Feminine hygiene products may not be flushed at any time. If it is found that improper products have been flushed causing a clog in the septic system, the Guest will be responsible for repair charges.

NEST DOORBELL (CAMERA): there is a Nest doorbell installed by the front door, which has the ability to record and turned on at all times. This is for the security of our guests and property, and to help us verify the number of guests on-site. Any tampering with the doorbell camera is a violation of the guest's occupancy agreement and will result in immediate cancelation of your stay with no refund. There are NO CAMERAS inside the property.

WAIVER OR LIABILITY FOR USE OF HOT TUB:
The guests agree to use extreme caution and care in the hot tub on the premises and to pay any and all repair charges for damage to the hot tub and/or property caused by the guests.
Guests further agree that everyone using a hot tub will shower and clean their feet upon the use of the hot tub. Furthermore, the agreement is made that NO oils, bubble baths, soaps, other liquids, or any other harmful materials will be used in the hot tub.
No glass products whatsoever are allowed in or around the hot tub. If any items such as soaps, bath products, food, alcohol, etc. are found in the tub, the guest will be charged a cleaning fee of $200.
Damage to a hot tub cover will result in a $400 charge. The cover should remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Guest agrees that there will be no horseplay in the hot tub as well as not to sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover in any manner.
Guests acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in the use of the hot tub. Guests voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, death, personal injury, or property damage that may arise from the use of the hot tub. By using the hot tub guests agree to follow all house rules associated with it and release the Host/property owner from any and all claims, liability or losses whatsoever arising out of or in any way associated with the guest's use of the hot tub, including but not limited to death, personal injury, or property damage, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

BOOKING MINIMUM:
3-night minimum to book all holidays, 2 nights minimum for all non-holiday dates.

CANCELATION POLICY:
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.
