The Adobe is well stocked with utensils, handblown Mexican glassware and attractive dishes. Thick stone patios grace the main entrance and the primary bedroom.
Take NOTE: NO TV &, NO SMOKING; YOU ARE SURROUNDED BY DESERT FOREST! No poisons have ever been used on the property since it was built 40-years ago.More than 4 guests requires owner’s permission and an additional charge of $50.00 per night per guest. An extra bed can be placed in the studio.
WIFI: You will make your smartphone/ WiFI supported calls and have "unlimited" internet access via satellite. ( On your phone, go-to 'Settings,' then 'WIFI calling'; you will be prompted to put in a 'physical address'. Do this BEFORE you arrive .) You can FaceTime, Stream or Zoom if you like.
The doors have NO KEYS. Don't bring your diamonds etc. There is always potential for a fire evacuation. We do NOT LOCK!. The firefighters must confirm a dwelling is empty of people in the event of fire evacuation and would, otherwise, need to break-in to verify.
The property is less than 4.5 miles North of Cave Creek under the Tonto Forest mesas and is off an unpaved, narrow, GATED, winding road that hugs a mountain on one side and an arroyo on the other.
Heat is a combination of passive-solar, German-ceramic WESO clean wood burning stove, Rumford fireplace, Beehive fireplace, quiet oil -filled heaters and fan -driven electric heaters. There are requirements for setting a fire so please inquire as there are no-burn days and we are in a drought. The owner will lay an occasional fire for you upon request of fragrant mesquite, oak and juniper.

Important: One old dog lives on the adjoining property with the host; they live in a casita one hundred feet away up the canyon. Both dwellings are very private and surrounded by Botanical Garden Award Winning Desert landscaping.
A Gyrotonic Studio located in the Adobe occasionally hosts a single or duo private Gyrotonic Movement Eduction class. The Studio is accessed via a private entrance.

This single-level home is located in a 55+ (at least one guest) community of Sun City, a setting that's wonderful for snowbirds and sun-seekers of all stripes. Two adult-size bikes are even provided for getting around the neighborhood. You'll be within a mile or two of several excellent golf courses, and an easy five-mile drive from Mariners and Padres Spring Training games at Peoria Sports Complex.

One of the special features of this home is its fitness setup. Not only is there a yoga studio overlooking the backyard, but the adjacent screened porch offers weights for your morning workouts.

Take daily dips in the pool, and sit down with a good book or a great meal in cushioned backyard seating in both sun and shade. Grab some quick delicious breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! My granddaughter, her husband and the baby enjoyed the pool. I did find the phone number and connected, so all was good. The house seems larger than appeared in the photos. We enjoyed our stay and the extra room to move around in. Located in Buckeye, one of the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona 45 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport using I-10 West is a 5 bedroom house that has 2 rooms sharing one bathroom with queen size beds available for rent. The house is in a safe and quite neighborhood with police patrol cars passing by every few minutes.

- "This is a house with 5 or 6 bedrooms that are individually rented out. Bathroom facilities are shared. All in all, I would say that this space reminds me of what a fraternity house must look like as you near the end of a school year. Kudos to VRBO and the property manager for allowing me to cancel my stay after I arrived and saw what I was facing for a two-week stay."

The Starlink Satellite dish supports WiFi phone calls, streaming and zoom calls. Bring your laptop computer for music and entertainment. There is no TV. Important: The Casita has No Keys. Doors are left unlocked due to the need for firefighters to confirm that homes are empty of people when fire evacuation is necessary (they would otherwise have to break-in to confirm the Casita is empty risking their lives and waste their precious time.) This area is gated.

** Please be aware that it is difficult to fully heat the pool in the colder months or when the temperature drops at night. Heated with a heat pump that pulls heat from the air temperature.

** We have two security cameras. One on each side of the home. Neither are pointed toward living areas.
