- "Overall, the property was clean. During booking I was not aware that this was a basement unit with the main house also being occupied. It was also not noted in the description that there were large, akward steps and a sharp downslope to get to the unit. This is not somewhere I would recommend for anyone with limited mobility. The internet did not work. The door would not stay closed unless it was locked, which I found odd. The other thing I noticed was that being in the basement, all of the heating/cooling/electrical was there. Even though it was behind some slatted closet doors, there was a loud electrical/humming noise the entire stay. There are no screens on windows, so if you want fresh air, you get bugs too. The kitchen is tiny with no oven or dishwasher, or other items you commonly find, such as foil or plastic wrap. The grill worked well. There was no welcome book with instructions, directions, or communications. The other tenants were nice, but I could hear every step they took. There is no warmth to the space and the bathroom is very outdated. There was also limited parking. I had to call the owner to figure out where to park because of the other tenants and they asled me to park in front of a fire hydrant. Overall, would not stay here again. It was an absolute rip off."

We are waterfront, with Mt. Rainier views! Zero minutes drive to the beach: don't let AI fool you! Warm water tubing in the shallow Bay is just around the corner! The Camano Beach Cabin is a waterfront, quaint, cozy log home just an hour from Seattle. No ferry lines here, drive right onto Camano Island and start enjoying life on the beach, just out the back door. The Cabin has two bedrooms and one bath, in a cozy 1000 square feet, perfect for couples, or small families looking to escape city living. The master bedroom has a queen bed and direct access to the bath. The second bedroom has a bunk bed: single mattress on top; full mattress below, with access to the bath across the hall. All bedding and towels are provided.
The kitchen has the pots, pans and utensils you will need to prepare a meal, or enjoy some of the restaurants on Camano, or in Stanwood. Please use the map to the right to locate shops, restaurants and other nearby attractions.

Deck boards a bit uneven and worn; nice fire pit and comfortable lounging chairs. BBQ clean and worked well. As mentioned in a couple reviews, we also found white dog hair....all over the sheets and pillow cases upper bedroom. (Owner's dog or frequent renter?) An unwelcome surprise at bedtime. Had to wash the sheets. Otherwise the place was very clean. Could use some more kitchen towels. Not much in the way of pantry items. Tiny "starters" dishwasher pods, shampoos, paper towels,etc. OK for us for 3 nights but suggest rental agency provide supplies based on # of days rented. No one wants to have to go to the market for dishwasher pods. As mentioned in a few reviews: the lock key-pad is finicky. We got the hang of it but could be very frustrating if you are needing to get inside quickly upon arrival. Brick walkway to house has hazard sign; uneven broken bricks. Walk on lawn instead. Met friendly neighbor. Quiet residential. No beach access. Small but well stocked market (Huntington) within 3 minutes. Binoculars provided and spotted lots bald eagles. Saw space station and a billion stars. Enjoyed the serenity. VACASA/VRBO very responsive."

You wont be disappointed in this home. Bright, airy, well decorated and very well appointed home with a beautiful yard and beach access (just a short walk through the gate and down a small hill). This home is 2 bed and 2 bath a beautiful yard with plenty of room for outdoor grilling and relaxing. The kitchen is as loaded as your very own and will not disappoint. This property is on a quiet road with a peak a boo look at the water.

It's a low-bank beachfront house with beautiful decks for relaxation.

This is a unique 5 story property. Lots of windows and decks are great for enjoying the views. While the house is spacious and comfortable, the maximum of 4 guests is firm (due to limited septic capacity & neighborhood regulations) and the house is best enjoyed by adults and older children. There are no child safety features inside or on any of the decks or stairs. We only offer the 2 king beds, no additional hide-a-beds, etc. The house has a VERY open feel. The only interior doors are on the bathrooms.

2nd Floor = bedroom with king bed and 3/4 bath
3rd Floor = kitchen, living, and dining rooms, 1/2 bath
4th Floor = open master suite loft with king bed and master bath
5th Floor = small loft - currently empty

Complete kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances, outdoor gas bbq grill, big screen TV on main floor, 2nd flat screen tv in master bedroom and wifi. Water softener and reverse osmosis purification for drinking water. Large soaking tub and shower in master suite. Lower level bedroom has it own private bath and shower. The cabin itself is finished in knotty pine and timbers for a unique cabin feel. The cabin is west facing for spectacular sunsets from any of the 3 large deck areas.

Please note because of the close proximity to the beach with our small fresh water well we are unable to provide laundry services. We sincerely appreciate your efforts in the conservation of fresh water.

The beach is spectacular. The bay is designated as a wildlife preserve (Owned by The Whidbey/Camano Land Trust) where migrating birds pass through every year. Miles of quiet beach to walk, some sandy, some rocky, always lots of driftwood to check out. The tide fluctuates dramatically so when the tide is very low, you are able to walk and explore across the entire bay. Bring your stand-up paddle board or use our 2 sit-on-top kayaks to explore even more of this beautiful secluded bay. A fantastic and easy get away. It's a wonderful San Juan Island cabin, accessed without requiring a ferry ride. 15 minutes from Interstate 5.

We appreciated the wealth of information about the area that the host provided. The bay that the house is on is a hoot -- it almost completely drains during low tide. We did not use the kayaks but were thankful for the advice to check the tide table before venturing out. The house is bright, the beds are comfortable, the outdoor grill worked well and the kitchen is well stocked. Although our stay was short (only 3 nights), we left feeling relaxed, content, and well rested."

Situated on a quiet street on Camano Island's Madrona Beach, this villa has it all. Heated swimming pool (May-Sep), private yard, a patio overlooking the beach, outdoor dining... And that's just the outside. Inside boasts a modern kitchen, a premium espresso machine with milk frother, theater, Sonos audio, and gigabit internet. The downstairs primary bedroom is perfect for people with mobility limitations. Camano Island is full of natural beauty, but you won't want to leave the house.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood. As guests of our home, you are encouraged to enjoy yourself, but to also be respectful of our neighbors. They're very nice and we value their right to enjoy their surroundings as much as we do.

Parties and events are strictly prohibited unless approved by the host before booking. Visitors not included in the booking are also prohibited unless approved before check in.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoors of the property but must be mindful that this is a residential neighborhood, not a resort. A noise management solution will be in use to monitor excess noise. It does not record or monitor conversations but will notify the host if the noise level is excessive.

The pool season is late May through September. The weather and other conditions can limit the season. Because of this, I cannot guarantee that the pool will be open during your stay. Also, if you're booking the home primarily for the pool, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Please inquire if you need more details.

It is unsafe to Kayak in the Puget Sound except during the warmest months (mid June-early September). I strongly discourage the use during these periods.

A waiver must be signed when the pool is open or kayaks are available. Even if you do not plan on using the facilities, it must be signed. This is done electronically during the screening process.

- "We luuuuuved, this property. We are two people who were looking for a quiet, relaxing, upscale vacation spot over the 4th of July. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and had every amenity we had been looking for (pool, BBQ, firepit, western facing waterfront, main floor bedroom with king size bed, etc.) Communication with the owner, before and during, was exceptional - Michael was super responsive and helpful. He left a couple goodies in the house including marshmallows for the fire pit (yes, we did make S'mores on the 4th of July!). The pool was at a perfect temperature, even for a nightly swim. And did I say it was quiet? So, very quiet; all day all we heard were the birds and the sound of our own snoring. I will also credit Michael for the best weather ever - mid to upper 70s, slight breeze - the best! We loved having a door to the outside in our bedroom too - great way to wake up in the morning for sure. I think we'll be back!"

This 2020 construction beach house is a labor of love. The owners completed 99% of the work themselves and are so glad to be done!

The main entry door opens into the living room, kitchen and dining room. This level also features a deck with bbq and outdoor dining table. The smaller of the 2 bedrooms is right across the hall from the bathroom on this level.

The entire upstairs is a large bedroom suite. There is a seating area, an attached bathroom and a large closet. There is a door that opens out to everyone's favorite place - the huge rooftop deck. The views are incredible no matter what time of year or day. There is a bunch of comfy seating and a gas firepit. No better place to watch the sunset. Full disclosure - there is no door at the top of the stairs to close off this suite.

The house and decks are not child friendly. Please be sure everyone in your group is at least a teenager.

The beach access path is nice and close and the kayaks are ready to go!

This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house has amazing views from most every room. Huge sun-room means even on a rainy day you are "covered". Our south-end location is very quiet and peaceful. Whales could be swimming by any day of the year. Keep your ears and eyes open so you don't miss them. Lots of eagles too. They could be above or below you at this high bank location.

We welcome you to this comfortable home that was designed with families and pets in mind. The entire yard is fenced with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. On the water side, the firepit is always a favorite. In the backyard, a basketball hoop can provide hours of fun.

Living room has a huge couch for seating with a view. TV and wifi for when you decide to come indoors. Eat in kitchen has everything you'll need. Dining on the deck might be your best bet though!

There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Both bedrooms have plenty of natural light through windows and sliders, but there are blinds for sleeping late. There is also a nook with a twin bed and a trundle.

The full bath is conveniently located. The half bath is just off the biggest bedroom, but also accessible from the hallway where the washer and dryer are.

The path to the beach is just down the street. When the tide is out, it is a very nice walk to Cama Beach State Park. They have boats to rent, activities for kids, a cafe with terrific breakfast and lunch and tons of trails. You can even get to the other state park from there! So much to do on Camano Island.

We had blustery April weather to walk the beach, watch the waves, and admire the kite boarders. The Iverson Trail Preserve (down the road ~ ½ mile) provides a great place to get out of the wind and listen to birds (or walk more beach 😊). After we were all worn out, we settled into the cabin on comfy couches in front of a lovely fireplace (gas) for way too much eating and just the right amount of drinking. The beach cabin is the real thing – it’s humble, but has everything that is needed to hang out, relax, and cook & eat well. There are very thoughtful touches throughout the cabin and the kitchen is well-stocked - just like I would want if this was my place. Having a covered porch to BBQ was appreciated in the weather. With beach access just steps away, you can easily walk to the beach and experience everything the amazing Madrona Beach has to offer. Bring your kayaks and enjoy the water. We provide some beach supplies needed for the perfect beach day!

The main house is finished with a full kitchen, dining area, a living room that can seat 6 people and a bathroom complete with a shower. There is one bedroom in the main house with a queen-sized bed. The couch in the living room converts into a small bed and can sleep 2 more people. Enjoy the large deck complete with BBQ, dining table for six and comfortable seating. We also provide a fire table and chairs in the yard for memory making evenings.

The luxurious adjacent detached suite has another queen-sized bed plus a workspace. (Note: Bathroom in main house only).

Camano Island is famous for our Dungeness crab. During crab season, we provide everything you need to catch, clean and enjoy a crab feast! Just bring your own kayak', crab license and bait!

Eagle Cliff Cottage is a fully equipped waterfront cottage on peaceful Camano Island, with sweeping views of Mount Ranier and Puget Sound. Watch whales, eagles, rabbits, seals and dramatic sunsets from the porch. Easy drive-on access - no ferry needed!

Comfortable bed in separate bedroom with glass doors separating from living room. Air mattress available for living room floor. Includes front porch, back porch, yard, octagonal viewing deck, in-unit laundry, full kitchen, and bathroom.

Though the cottage is "on the water" there is a very steep cliff (with a fence) separating the cottage from the water.

The cottage is on the same property as our main house, but is a separate private building. Renting the cottage includes exclusive access of the yard between the cottage and the ocean bank, as well as the octagonal viewing deck.
