- "We had a beautiful stay. Property is a ground floor studio apt attached (but separated by a makeshift wall on the staircase) to main house, which I believe is the delux suite. It was so clean and modern with everything we needed. High quality soaps amd shampoo, a good hairdryer. Everything new. View is stunning, you can see the ocean over the golf course. Only problem is the noise, you can hear the guests upstairs really clearly. Luckily we slept at the same time. Because we could hear their music, them singing and when they walked it was a loud stomping sound. Other than that it was perfect. Thanks a lot "

Beeches is a beautiful double story, Cape Cod-style cottage. With brick floors, mud-brick walls and recycled timber throughout it has a unique rustic charm that is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Downstairs is comprised of an open plan kitchen, dining area, sitting area, and tv lounge; as well as a spacious double bedroom, separate toilet, bathroom with shower over a claw foot bath and a laundry with washing machine and laundry basin.

The apartment sleeps four and suits particularly well a family with two children or two couples.

Each area of the apartment has independent electric heating and ceiling fans while the living areas on the upper level are serviced by a cosy wood heater, ceiling fan and a split system heater/air-conditioner.The kitchen is fully appointed with electric oven, microwave and hotplates and a full range of saucepans, serving platters and other sundry cooking utensils. Although golf is the first thing that comes to mind at Cape Schanck, the Mornington Peninsula offers a wide range of tourist and recreational activities.

The charming township of Flinders, 10 minutes away, boasts restaurants, coffee shops, a hotel, bakery plus antique stores and galleries, Red Hill is a picturesque 15 minute drive away and Rosebud less than 10 minute distance away.

In the surrounding area are several acclaimed wineries, many with fine dining and bistro facilities, along with tasting and cellar door sales. For the more energetic, there is access to horse riding facilities, bay beaches, surfing and an extensive variety of bushwalking tracks. In addition, the towns of Balnarring and Red Hill run country markets on a monthly basis as well as the excellent local Boneo market (5 minutes away). Another popular attraction is the Peninsula Hot Springs located conveniently in Rye but booking in advance is highly recommended.

Bass Vista allows us to escape from the world! We LOVE the location for its quiet solitude and our most favourite thing to do is to sit on the balcony and take in the most magnificent 180 degree views of the waters of Bass Strait and Gunnamatta Beach while sipping on a cocktail.
Our children love the garden and its huge trampoline where they can play in the secure fenced garden. They flit in and out of their own lounge downstairs and watch some TV when they want to mix things up.
There are so many places to walk and wonder at the native flora and fauna (walk the Bushrangers Bay track in the late afternoon for an encounter with a Kangaroo as they leap from the lower ground to the upper right across your path). From the Cape Schanck lighthouse car park, there is a network of scenic walks and 200 metres east of Cape Schanck is the lookout where Bushrangers Bay Walk commences along the cliff tops of this untouched coastline. Along Main Creek is the Two Bay Walking Track stretching 26km through the countryside of the Mornington Peninsula.
For all things food, we head to the village of FLINDERS a short drive away and especially Pier Provedore. Here we grab coffee and provisions for dinner at home.
For a special evening, we head to the RACV Cape Schanck Resort where we grab a cocktail in the bar lounge and then eat at either Cape Restaurant or Samphire to complete our luxury escape.

- "We had a great time, the property was very clean & great set out for 4 people" - "Property is in excellent position overlooking 11th fairway of golf course. House was fairly clean but had quite a few spider webs inside and out. Check in wasn't particularly smooth as the arranged message with key safe code didn't come as our number was incorrectly imputed meaning we had to call to get combination. Rules are quite strict so if you are expecting to just pull door closed behind you think again, the expectation is that accomadation is to be clean eg. Floors vacuum, dishes washed and put away, consumables replaced if used bins put out to kerb. Don't know what the cleaner actually does except for changing bed sheets and towels. If you are used to hotel arrangements then this isn't for you, if your happy to do a house clean at the end of your stay then this is a good fit for you."

Tiny House Big View sits near the quiet suburbs of Boneo, on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne. Hawkes Farm, The Epicurean, and Rosebud Plaza are just a few of the recommended attractions our vacationers enjoy.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home,"Tiny House Big View 2," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guests will have access to the property and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence and main farm tracks.

By car: Driving time from Melbourne CBD is approximately 1 hr 30 mins (100.5 km)

- Tennis court is also available and opens at 10 AM
- Keep in mind that there is an electric fence in operation.

- "The property was advertised as 3 bathrooms but in actual fact only had 2 and a toilet which was inconvenient for our teenage children. The contact phone number on the stayz website was incorrect so we could not make contact with the property manager throughout our stay. One of the bedrooms had 2 slugs crawling on the skirting board with a white powdery substance which looked like some kind of mould. The spa was really nice."

we love this because...
CAPE HOUSE is our go-to for when we want to bring all our friends and family together.
Some of our group love to drive a ball down a fairway and from here the rest of the group can watch them do it as the house backs onto the 4th hole of the RACV Cape Schanck Golf Course.
We absolutely love the space in this house (and the instagrammable art and interiors), with large groups it sometimes feels like you can't get away from the crowd...but not here. The bedrooms are also vast so everyone feels like they are living in luxury.
The teenagers use the gym and table tennis and test out the sauna but we prefer to take our exercise outdoors along the spectacular, rugged coastline around Cape Schanck with its cliff faces and rocky outcrops a popular, yet untouched peninsula destination.
There are so many places to walk and wonder at the native flora and fauna (walk the Bushrangers Bay track in the late afternoon for an encounter with a Kangaroo as they leap from the lower ground to the upper right across your path). From the Cape Schanck lighthouse car park, there is a network of scenic walks and 200 metres east of Cape Schanck is the lookout where Bushrangers Bay Walk commences along the cliff tops of this untouched coastline. Along Main Creek is the Two Bay Walking Track stretching 26km through the countryside of the Mornington Peninsula.
For all things food, we head to the village of FLINDERS a short drive away and especially Pier Provedore. Here we grab coffee and provisions for dinner at home.
For a special evening, we head to the RACV Cape Schanck Resort where we grab a cocktail in the bar lounge and then eat at either Cape Restaurant or Samphire to complete our luxury escape.

The games room, sauna, large outdoor deck and fire pit were great bonuses. Totally worth booking for a friends weekend away." - "We loved our stay here.
