the road to the cabin is not paved but gravel. depending on if there has been a lot of rain it can be a little rough. only 1/2 mile to the cabin from the paved road.

- "This was a magical getaway and I can’t wait to do it again. The property was gorgeous and the house was amazing! The backyard was perfect for roasting marshmallows and sitting around the fire. We grilled, used the hot tub, explored the little creek below, and relaxed in the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were perfect. The game room was so fun! There was lots of porch sitting and porch swinging as well. We really liked that it was a short drive to Dalonega and Helen. No more than 30 minutes to both adorable towns. We also took a drive to Stone Mountain which was about an hour and 20 minutes but totally worth it. The drive up was not steep or worrisome. There is a little grocery store about 5 minutes away next to a gas station. I loved how secluded the cabin felt but yet still close enough to places to visit. There are two Queen bedrooms, 1 king bedroom, a loft with a trundle bed, & a futon in the game room. Plenty of space for our family! I would highly recommend this gorgeous cabin."

- "Few hosts allow gatherings of people with over 50 attendees, but when you find one, definitely you have to take advantage of it and treat it as if it was your own. The host was beyond perfect. He let me stop by before my event we before and check out the place so I can plan my mother’s birthday her 60th.. The house is gorgeous extra clean and the host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I mean beyond perfect during the preview of the house he asked me what I thought about it And I gave him an honest answer. I only mentioned that grill was pretty small for events and the guy basically gave me a blank check and said go on Amazon and pick out anyone you want and I’ll buy it and set it up for you. I was not expecting this but this type of service that this man provided is definitely definitely above and beyond, and I appreciate him opening his home to our family. I definitely would have another event here actually, I have other family members that came to the party and have asked me who to contact for this home to rent for their event and I’m definitely recommending him to everyone in my family. Home and the cottage are the perfect combination, especially if you want to have your in-laws in it separate home lol. The pool was gorgeous and clean the lawn extra, and every lightbulb in the house was not blown. For those of you that think this may be pricey to rent this house. Yes, it cost me a bit much, but it worth it."

The space
You’ll have a front-row seat to all that nature has to offer from the vantage point of the porch that runs the length of the house; or if you prefer the comfort of the indoors, watch nature out the large windows from the couch.

We were in town for my daughter’s doctoral graduation and decided to have the entire family stay together in a place that felt more like home and less like a hotel. This modern and fully renovated home is full of cozy spaces and stylish touches. The open kitchen has a large island and is great for entertaining. It’s also home to stainless steel appliances, a beverage fridge, and an espresso machine. The cooking options don’t stop with the kitchen. Head outside where you can prepare dinner on the gas grill and dine alfresco at the outdoor dining area.

Spend mornings out on the covered patio enjoying fresh espresso and spend evenings walking through the vineyard with a glass of wine. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
