Sleeps 8. 2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 double sofa bed and 2 camp beds are available if you would prefer not to use the sofa bed. I will not rent to more than 8 people as the wear and tear on the villa is too much. 1 large lounge, entrance (used as a 2nd living area), dining room, kitchen and ground floor bathroom with a shower. You'll also find a family bathroom upstairs. This split level house would easily accommodate 2 families. There's a terrace around the house for eating/drinking/playing. Private gated pool (this isn’t heated). The local town of Torrei Di Passeri is a 5 mins drive away. You'll find bars, restaurants, 2 super markets and other shopping. You can also enjoy the local street market every Saturday morning. Extensive sandy beaches are 35 min drive away in and around the city of Pescara. At the coast you can find many shops, restaurants or just lounge on the beaches. For those that prefer a more active holiday, the nearby mountains provide many hiking trails, touring and picnicking opportunities. In addition, there are many Roman ruins, medieval castles, churches and other historical sites and 2 national parks all within the Abruzzo region. Pietranico is an old agricultural town. Located on a hill near the Rota River, the town overlooks the Pescara Valley and the views are truely spectacular. Its population is about 700 inhabitants. Pietranico offers friendly shops and bars which are frequented by very hospitable locals. The old center of the town is pretty much as it was, much of it dating back to the 15th century. The houses run up along the steep hillside giving a real 'Old Italy' feel to it as it's divided by narrow winding streets. The most important point of interest in Pietranico is the Oratory of the Madonna della Croce. Built in the year 1618, on the site of a miraculous apparition of the Virgin Mary, the exterior of the church is simple, in contrast to the interior, which is rather sumptuous. The most important festas in the town are on the 2nd and 3rd of May and the 14th and 15th of September, and both are dedicated to the Madonna delle Croce. Casa Antonio is very easily reached and superbly positioned for peace and quiet and provides a tranquil escape from the busy modern day life. It's easily accessible by car or train from either Rome or Pescara, each in turn served by a wide choice of low-cost and regular airlines. I will provide all bedding & indoor towels but ask that you kindly bring your own pool/beach towels. They can be rented for a small fee of e5. This is a washing fee. There's a selection of DVD films for both young and old, various books & toys (Boys toys mostly!) To keep you occupied as well as some games. Also a toddler push chair.

- "Absolutely a wonderfull place if you want peace In ur vacation. The Road there is great even if its In the Hills. It only takes 5 min Down town for picking up grocery. The House have what it need. Two floors. Upstairs bedrooms and one bathrooms. Fans for when its hot. Even the grades was over 30 we had no problems getting good Air In there 🙏 Down stairs a huge kitchen/allroom we spent all our i door time there. Even though there is another dinning room and a tv room. We dis not use those. But we sid spent alot of time In/at the pool. Wow we Were blown away over the pool who is saltwater we never tried that before but it is the Best ever. There is a vacum ( electrick ) Cleaner for the buttom of the pool. Awsome. And now problem by putting it In and start it. Clean pool In the morning ready for a Nice swim. If we one Day go back to that area we would never hesitate of renting from Teresa again. She is very Nice In letters, Always answering my questions nicely. Explaining everything to us, so there was no misunderstodment. Thx for taking the chance again, after that insident last yr. This is a place to totally unwind and explore the 'greenest region in Europe'. In Cugnoli, winters are mild and sunny, great for sightseeing and hiking. Our surroundings are breathtaking, private and we feel privileged to be able to share our unique view. Although the house is private and rural, it's just a 6 minute drive to all amenities. There is an excellent selection of well-priced local Italian cuisine, and of course one is spoiled for choice in the wine department. Local fresh cheeses and specialty pastries from the nearby towns and hilltop villages are available. The replies to the local architecture style, spacious, light and has an uninterrupted panorama. All rooms are individually decorated with attention to detail. Bedding and sheets are 100% cotton and the kitchens have everything to make a culinary delight.
The Villa is 40 mins drive from Ski slopes and lifts at Passo Lanciano, where you can enjoy sampled after a day on the slopes. Prices are much more reasonable than other tourist filled places in Italy. Great fun for families or beginners, as there are ski instructors available, and tobogganing. Slightly further away is Rocarasso, a lager ski resort.

The Adriatic coast is 25 minutes drive, the sea is warm and the coastline lined with great fish restaurants. There are towns, cities and villages within 45 minutes drive with different historical sites, foods and authentic Italian shops. There's lots to explore, but we think that just spending time at the rural settlement, you will feel very close to nature. It's a tranquil experience just to lounge around the garden and drink in the view and listen to windows and donkeys around. We are on 6 acres of land, which we harvest, and produces a single summer, cold pressed virgin olive oil. There are many paths to the energy for a good walk. We have often seen foxes, wild boar (wild boar), wild rabbits and even buck in our extended garden.

- "Onze beste vakantie ooit! Sacha is de beste vriendelijkste eigenaar die we ooit hadden, hij behandelde ons als een koningsfamilie. Het huis is heel ruim en al wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Prachtig uitzicht overal in en rond het huis. Sacha had een paar adressen in onze gps gezet.. De bergen naar Stefano en alle dieren die men daar tegenkomt op de baan waren geweldig om te zien. Van de zwavelbronnen had ik iets meer verwacht. Het meer was ook een uitstapje waard. De zee was zaaaalig,wij deden zowel een zandstrand als kiezelstrand.. Buiten 1 zwaar onweer hebben we 2 weken prachtig weer gehad. Ook hebben we een superlekker restaurant gevonden waar we met 7 man amper 97 euro betaalden voor voorgerecht,hoofdgerecht,nagerecht en drank. Echt een aanrader.Een dikke 10 +"
