Spend some time at the newly renovated Bungalow, offering 2 queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa, state of the art kitchen and large open living area overlooking the lake. The Bungalow has a chef's dream of a kitchen, with it's soapstone countertop, generous spice selection, coffee bar, small appliance cabinet and griddle/gas range.

The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Bring a fishing pole and bait and reel in a large or small mouthed bass! (Fishing license required )

If fishing and kayaking are not your thing, we have tons of outdoor games. Cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball, just to name a few! In addition, there are miles of walking trails starting right down the road.

Coventry is known for its antique shops and restaurants. Once you've shopped 'til you've dropped, head back to The Bungalow to enjoy the firepit. Share a few stories and a few drinks. Once you are ready for bed, you will be sleeping on hotel quality beds and linens.

- "I had some concerns prior to my arrival and Joe was amazing, addressing them immediately. The property is very nice, neighborhood is great, lake was beautiful. Cottage had everything we needed, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils - even provided paper plates and plastic utensils if you don’t want to do dishes. Sufficient pots, pans and cooking tools, even included BBQ tools. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, was able to rest and relax as desired."

Welcome to Panorama! We named our lakefront house panorama because back in the 1930s when the lots were first created they named ours “Panorama” for the panoramic views it has of Coventry Lake! Not to mention the house is located directly in front of the sandbar, so you are always right in the middle of all the action!

When you walk in the kitchen will greet you with vaulted ceilings and wood beams. The kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, tile backsplash, and plenty of dishes, silverware and cookware.

The kitchen then opens up to the main living space with two large sliding glass doors looking out to the lake. The couch pulls out to a queen size bed and both loveseats pull out to a twin size bed. We have sheets for these extra beds but please bring blankets and pillows if you plan to use them! There is also an electric fireplace in the living room for those cozy winter days!

A dinning area is nestled in the corner with a circle table large enough to fit 6.

The downstairs bedroom has a twin trundle bed as well as a tv. The upstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed and lake views.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with a large sliding glass door that leads you out to the upper deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail with a panoramic birds eye view of Coventry Lake! Please note there is a window with shutters in the master bedroom that can be unlatched and opened to the vaulted ceiling in the kitchen. Please do not leave unattended young children in this room.

The double sliding glass doors in the living room lead you out to the lower deck, which also provides expansive views of the lake. We have a farmhouse table as well as a high top table and chairs on the lower deck so you will never be without a seat! New outdoor TV on lower deck. The deck leads you to the level grass area where you can play yard games or lay out on one of our loungers.

There are stairs at the sea wall that lead down to our 45 foot long private sandy beach! We have a deck box with sand toys, some beach chairs, floats etc. there is also another table with chairs on our beach as well as a fire pit.

For water toys we have a canoe, paddle board and 2 hydro-bikes for guest use as well as a floating raft to jump off of!

Private parking lot that fits 4 cars comfortably.

10 minutes from UConn. 30 minutes from Hartford, Ct. In between Boston and New York City.

- "Our stay was ok. The cottage is a little outdated but the location is great. You can walk a few steps and you can enjoy the lake view. We didn't do any kayaking. Coventry town is pretty small and not much to do for middle-aged people. We tried to find the waterfalls, but a few of them were dams, not natural ones. The wineries are another option, but the one near town was just a plain one on a flat land. Be aware of the pet fee of $100 that they charge you, even though we advised them that our dog was a service animal."

Lake front, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath. This house is recently remodeled. It has a new kitchen with all new appliances. Kitchen is fully stocked to host large groups. There is also a new outdoor patio and kitchen. with new outdoor kitchen and patio. All bathrooms and bedrooms are remodeled. Beds, pillows, sheets, etc. are all new. First floor has the kitchen, full bath, living room and a bedroom with a queen bed. Second floor has one very large bedroom with 4 day-beds which sleeps 8 and another bedroom with a queen bed plus a full size bathroom and laundry. Any questions, use "ask owner a question" button.

Lovely spot on the lake and well equipped with everything you need. As depicted, the exterior steps are formidable, yet I use a cane and was able to manage the 40+ steps slowly and with caution. The large deck has gates at both entries which enabled our dogs to spend time outdoors without fear of their escape."

About this space
Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch or walk down to the private beach and view the sunrise and sunset from the dock. The public boat launch is close for those who enjoy water sports on the lake. In the evening relax by the fire on the back patio while grilling on the weber grill ! This cottage is a true getaway that's an easy stroll to the lake, a short drive to UCONN, and close to outdoor activities like hiking and biking.The Coventry farmers market is less than 2 miles away and downtown Storrs/UCONN is less than a 10 minute drive.
The space
The cottage has been completely renovated and is cute as a button. It is fully stocked with two queen beds, a chefs kitchen, fine bedding and bath towels. It is a very short walk to the private beach to launch your kayaks and paddleboards and a short drive to the boat launch where you can launch your boat or jet skis. There is a private driveway with plenty of space to park your cars and a 20 amp outdoor outlet to charge your EV if needed.

Other things to note
This is a great getaway for a family, a girls getaway, anyone looking for a respite, or a quick stop on the way north or south of connecticiut. Longer stays are encouraged. This would also be perfect for someone working from home who wants to spend the summer by the lake!
The Lake is a natural water resource and may be subject as any body of water to algae during extreme summer heat. Intermittent closures of the lake may occur. Owner is not responsible for state/town water closures.

We arrived after a long day of driving and were greeted with soothing music playing in the living area. Kitchen is fully furnished including a variety of coffees, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks. Very clean. There is a beautiful new wrap around deck. We ate dinner there every night. My 3 granddaughters (2,5, and 8)just loved the beach and swimming right in front of the house and spent hours there every day. And they loved having dance parties in the basement room with the fun lights. A wonderful week!"

Hot and humid week and AC cooled the house. House was perfect size for our family. We enjoyed grilling. Enjoyed beautiful evenings gathered around the fire pit and star gazing. Very private area thousand feet off the road you’re right on the water very comfy house everyone that comes so they don’t wanna leave.
