We have a beautiful 200sqf enclosed sunroom With a 400sqf deck to enjoy the valley view out back. River access is only 3-5 minutes away depending on where you want to swim. Flint Ridge Resort is a private gated community with 3 community pools, golf course and Restaurant, river access and float services are offered ON WEEKENDS ONLY (Memorial Day weekend- Labor Day weekend). You will need to call and confirm that your dates will be available and make a reservation. Flint Ridge Security Office requires us to submit the names of all guests and vehicles that will be entering. Guest MUST show guest passes each time entering through the security gate. There is a $200 tailgating fine you will be responsible for if you are issued a citation by the Security officers.

The space
Our cottage is very roomy with the open floor plan. The property is an UNFENCED property. Flint ridge is pet friendly but does have a leash law. There is lots of interesting extra décor to enjoy looking at. We have a awesome enclosed sunroom that is great for reading, chilling and especially great for napping lol. There is a book nook with lots of books for reading. Also there are several board game for your enjoyment as well. One shower is handicap accessible. There are 3 small steps to step up onto the front deck to enter the house. We DO offer WIFI, but not cable. The TVs are smart TVs. We have lots of DVDs and they're a few local channel that the TV picks up. This is more of a place to come disconnect from all the stress of life.

IMPORTANT NOTICE We have 3 surveillance cameras. One on each end of the house outside only. We do not live there. They are for us to monitor the property when not in use. .

Located on the scenic Historic Oklahoma Waterway enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique grain bin that was built on site, using local timber in an effort to store the grain from the fields. Trees were cut down and milled to build this grain bin in the early 80's. Currently its a tiny home getaway, with a modern rustic interior, wrap around porch, and fire pit. Perfect for relaxing, hiking, kayaking, tubing, or fishing. Interesting thing about this property is the history. In the late 1830's the Hildebrand-Beck Mill was being built, right across the street from our property, along the creek. It was one of the oldest working mills in the U.S. During the civil war, federal troops occupied this land. After the war, in 1872 Ezekial Proctor accidentally shot Pauline Hildebrand and touched off a feud that resulted in an shootout at the Goingsnake Court House. The threads of the tapestry of history have woven in and out on this quiet setting on Flint Creek.
this particular cabin has a loft, that you will need to go upstairs to get to. The upstairs has plenty of room for a 6 foot four young man to sit and not hit his head on the ceiling, but there is not enough room to stand up upstairs. It’s specifically billed for sleeping.

Security/Safety

Twin Spirngs Ranch is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. It is named for the two springs coming out of the cave from under the main house. Guests are welcome to walk down and explore the springs. Our guest cabin has a beautiful view of the Ozark Mountains and the horses and cattle in the pasture. If you like to hike there are trails avalible, just remember to shut the gate behind you. We are located 11 miles west of Siloam Springs and 12 from the first float (canoe/kayak) resort on the Illinois river. Natural Falls is about 6 miles from us. We can also host your horses if you need a stall or lot for them (extra charge).

The dark beam and light board ceilings are lovely. The large deck was a great place to sit, unwind and listen to the creek flow by. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and as always, my heartfelt thanks to dog friendly hosts. We rarely go anywhere without our four-legged kids. The only downside was a group at a nearby property who were tube floating on the creek when we were relaxing on the deck on our last evening there, but they had every right to do so and were not overly noisy. Finally, the pictures for this particular cottage indicated an unobstructed view of the creek from the deck, but I think the pic must have been taken from the cottage south of this one. We could only see a small area of the creek from the deck. That being said, the sound of the flowing water was SO peaceful. Everything considered, we would definitely stay there again, and recommend the cottage to others."

Log Cabin right on Flint Creek. You can literally throw a rock into the creek. This cabin is perfect for 2 people all the way to 5. You will hear the waterfall and creek all the time, as well as all types of nature. Eagles, Otters, Beavers, and Deer are constantly on the property. We are right by the old Hildebrand Sawmill, and many artifacts majority arrowheads have been found throughout the property by many guests. You will have access to fish, float, and play in the creek. There are multiple float trip companies around for canoeing, kayaking, or floating the Illinois River.

- "We had a rejuvenating stay for Tim's 65th birthday! The access to the spring fed creek is the best part. Its was 100° but in the creek you didn't notice. We purchased an inner tube and some rope so i could float while Tim fished. Tied the rope to his belt loop and he pulled me around lol. We felt like kids! Can't wait to go back!💖" - "The cabin was new, airy, and light filled. It had a great creek to play in and cool off just steps from the wonderful back deck. We would have used the fire pit, but it was just too hot. The location was private and in a beautiful area. Property managers so kind, even let us use some of their lighter fluid when we couldn’t get our charcoal to light. Would definitely stay again!" - "We absolutely loved this little cabin! It’s kind of out in the middle of nowhere (getting there Google Maps worked but Apple didn’t) but that’s exactly what we wanted. There is no way to cook besides the microwave and grills so be prepared with groceries. It took us about 30 minutes to get to All American Floats from the cabin and not much further to Walmart. This is in an RV park so there are a few cabins and several RV’s and the bathrooms are shared. They are kept very clean and even have a washer and dryer you can use. The cabin was extremely clean and the ACs worked great! That was a must on the 104° day. We had a blast on the river and will definitely be coming back!"

The Space:
Located about a mile uphill from the new WOKA Whitewater Kayak Park, and right next to all the new trails, this historic cottage, originally built in 1904, has been completely renovated, while maintaining its original charm. Enjoy amazing views from all around, but especially from the screen in decks overlooking a steep wooded hillside/ valley. As well as a one of kind hot & cold outdoor shower on bottom deck/ screened in porch off back bedroom downstairs. Set amongst 830 acres of the historic Lake Frances property near Siloam Springs, AR, the area is now known as the Lake Frances Preserve, for wildlife habitat, water quality, and future public access. The property was purchased from the descendants of Frances Sloan Thomas, for whom the lake was named, and is the largest tract purchased by NWALT to date, making it their biggest conservation property in Benton County.

The preserve lies on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border east of the Illinois River and the former 70-acre Lake Frances. It is one of the largest tracts of contiguous forest in western Benton County and is considered one of the most significant pine/oak woodlands in Northwest Arkansas. There is also a large post oak savanna of regional conservation significance along Lake Frances Gate Rd.

“Permanently protecting the Lake Frances property ensures a piece of Benton County’s natural heritage is protected forever. The shortleaf pine stands and oak savanna are unique in our region and help tell the story of what it was like here nearly 200 years ago,” said Marson Nance, Director of Land Stewardship and Research. “We’ve already found unique plants on the property but have barely scratched the surface in documenting the land’s biodiversity.”

Lake Frances Preserve has over seven miles of mapped streams, much of which consists of seasonal and ephemeral streams which support an abundance of plants and wildlife. Permanent protection of these streams and their habitats will help protect water quality in the Illinois River.

Located just south of Siloam Springs in the historic Lake Francis area amongst only a few other properties not owned by the NWA Land Trust. Easy to access from HWY 59, but you will feel like you are the only one around in the rural setting. Just up the road/ hill from the new kayak park opening Spring of 2023.

Other Things to Note:
Located just 5.5 miles from Historic Downtown Siloam Springs, but on a 880 acre private reserve, you’ll feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

We also have an optional additional/ overflow space at a super cute, fully renovate camper located right next door (if you need an additional bed/ space). It has a very comfy full bed, and a bunk for small adult/ child and table also makes into a bed. Send us a message if interested booking this additional space.

- "It was awesome to have a staycation for the meteor shower at such a quiet and safe cabin. Bring bottled water and make sure to plan ahead with food. The microwave has a convection oven and air fryer included in it. It is very well-lit, and though I felt a bit like I was in a fishbowl at night, the hosts thought about all safety procedures. There's a camera outside the cabin doors, the main gate was not locked at night but I never felt unsafe. There is a deadbolt for the main cabin door and the porch door was locked from the outside when closed tightly. Thank you for a great stay!"

About this cabin….This was originally a woodshop that was used to mill lumber, and do all the work for the property. We converted it to a large open area bunkhouse. 1 private bedroom downstairs, and then a large area for lots of people to enjoy and sleep in upstairs. The lower level has a HUGE kitchen, and open area, along with games, and large television. Sit on the deck and enjoy the outdoors listening to the birds and animals. Or you can move your group to the campfire to share some memories, or create new ones. During the day, you can go sit, swim, or float in the creek. In the late 1830's the Hildebrand-Beck Mill was being built, right across the street from our property, along the creek. It was one of the oldest working mills in the U.S. During the civil war, federal troops occupied this land. After the war, in 1872 Ezekial Proctor accidentally shot Pauline Hildebrand and touched off a feud that resulted in an shootout at the Goingsnake Court House. The threads of the tapestry of history have woven in and out on this quiet setting

- "We were thrilled with our stay! Loved the games, loved the kitchen! We were able to relax and feel like we were at home! 10/10 reccomend!" - "Overall we had a great time at the bunk house. If you have pets there is plenty of space for them to run, play, and walk outside. They had some dog kennels available. Plenty of things to do inside dart board, shuffle board, and other things. We had a group of 16 and plenty of room. Only complaint is that one cabin sits fairly close to the bunk house and bottom restroom doesn't lock, but they weren't very big deals."

The house was built c. 1913 for a prominent local banker, and has since served as a hospital and as the offices of the local chamber of commerce. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. I Guests will have complete privacy in this private suite, but also the rest of the common areas of this amazing home. Including the lobby, conference room, front porch, and several sitting/ living spaces and the prayer room.
