Barn & Stable Cottages both sleep four in a double and a twin room. One cottage has been recently refurbished but still retains its old country charm, with open fire and wooden beams. The second cottage was converted from Estate barns to a cosy cottage with modern facilities. The location, in the Ochil hills, feels remote but is only 4 miles from nearest town with pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc..

This 200 year old C-listed cottage is situated in the heart of Dunblane, minutes away from the Cathedral, museums, restaurants & shops.
We have upgraded the entire property to a very high standard with stylish decoration and beautiful furniture.
Downstairs is an open plan living space, with a large fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, induction hob, oven and fridge with a small freezer. In the back utility there is a washer/dryer. The dining area is all set for you to enjoy relaxing meals.
A lovely wood burning stove makes the living area cosy and very inviting after a long day enjoying all Dunblane has to offer. With a smart television and wifi you can keep up to date with the outside world if you choose to!
The luxurious upstairs bedroom suite includes a freestanding bath, perfect for a relaxing soak, whilst the comfy bed offers a great nights sleep. A separate shower room is next door to the bedroom and has a large traditional shower and toilet.
At the back of the property there is an outbuilding should you want to bring bicycles, whilst at the top of the garden there is a raised decked area which faces south west and offers open views over Dunblane. the perfect spot for a BBQ!

There is access to extensive communal grounds beyond where you might see the odd neighbour doing a spot of gardening.
In winter:
A cosy rural retreat to snuggle up with a book in front of the log burner. Faster fibre ensures seamless streaming of Netflix, Amazon and catch up applications all available on Smart TV. Regular channels via Sky box.
Our 'Emma' matress is really comfortable. The power shower is a great reviver or choose to unwind in a relaxing bubble bath at the end of a day's exploring.
The kitchen is well stocked, has an oven with separate grill, dishwasher and a laundry room housing the washing machine.
The back garden porch houses the log cupboard - great for kicking off and storing muddy boots, hanging wet coats and rubbing down soggy dogs.

Under the Scottish Government's Licensing Scheme for short term lets, this property is licensed for a MAX of 2 people (and we're adults only).
Guests who over-occupy risk our license being revoked, contravening fire safety laws and invalidating our insurance. Therefore all guests will be asked to leave and no refund will be given. Please understand, we have zero discretion in this regard.
DOGS (Sorry, we can't accommodate cats.)
Please note, the pet fee is payable if you plan to have any dog in the space, e.g. visiting family or friends. This is because we change everything out - duvets, cushions, throws etc after a dog has been present - in order to maintain the upmost standards of cleanliness for all our guests, particularly those with allergies.
We're huge dog lovers so want to offer guests the opportunity to bring their dog on holiday. Please note however, for reasons of hygeine, we don't allow dogs on the bed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation :)
There are other animals on the property so please accompany your dog at all times in the garden and remember to pick up after them.
PARKING
The untouched feel and historic nature of the area means the narrow, winding streets of the Old Town are uniquely quirky. At busy times this may impact on parking. Confident parallel parking is a bonus.

Dunblane is a very nice village with shops and restaurants and some great trails and parks walking distance from the front door of apartment. Dunblane is also centrally located within central Scotland, we could walk down to take trains to Glasgow and Stirling and were 30 minutes drive from the Trossachs mountains and several other villages and castles. The host was exceptional, available, and was genuinely interested in our having a wonderful stay and time in Dunblane - not at all like absentee or corporate management. We wish other properties could be as well done as this one. It had us discussing how we could work Dunblane and the apartment back into next summer’s EU travel plans! Would highly recommend."

The Cottage is a Grade A listed former gatehouse that has been recently renovated and redecorated throughout. Tucked away in peaceful gardens with private parking for two cars.
An open plan living and dining area with log burner is exceptionally cosy and the perfect place to relax.
Our high quality and fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need for your stay while a washer/ dryer is in the separate utility room.
The peaceful study with french doors opening to the private garden is perfect for reading or a snooze.
The master bedroom, with en-suite shower room, has a king size bed and plenty of wardrobe space. While the second bedroom has twin beds and is next to the bathroom which has bath with shower.

Centrally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, this bespoke cottage has been lovingly refurbished to provide high end accommodation with open plan bedroom, living and kitchen area. The cottage is a two minute walk from the train station and local amenities, baker, restaurant, cafe, pharmacy, mini supermarket and lots more. Our studio cottage is a mix of modern and Scottish theme decor epitomising open plan living. We provide a comfy king size bed with extra blankets for extra warmth on those cold winter nights. The property has been well insulated and warmth is provided by electric heating. The comfy sofa can also be a sofa bed. You can watch TV on the sofa or in comfort of your bed as it is attached to a moveable bracket.

Barn & Stable Cottages both sleep four in a double and a twin room. One cottage has been recently refurbished but still retains its old country charm, with open fire and wooden beams. The second cottage was converted from Estate barns to a cosy cottage with modern facilities. The location, in the Ochil hills, feels remote but is only 4 miles from nearest town with pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc..

Hello, I am originally from Dunblane having spent most of my Childhood in the Beautiful Historic Town. I now only live 4 miles away so never far away. I have 2 Happy, growing children and a Wonderful Fiancé who renovated our property to give our guests a luxurious stay. Station View and our guests are my main priority and I give my all to make sure everything is perfect during their stay. During your stay I am always just a phone call away. I am always just a phone call away. I will be there for check-in sometimes although this is not always possible so we have a key safe on the building.
We are very lucky as our property is in a very quiet close with fantastic neighbours. Situated across from the Train Station this gives very easy access for Train journeys and the bus stop is just around the corner.

This is a lovingly refurbished quirky gatehouse to bring the whole family to with lots of room for fun! There is a patio with outdoor furniture for some al fresco dining in the secluded back garden. Plenty of space in the kitchen-diner to cook with all mod cons and host your family in this wonderful family friendly home. There are 4 bedrooms available in this wonderful property and a sofa bed, if needed in the living room. The front bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a king sized bed. Bedroom 3 and 4 are in an adjoining wing to the kitchen and both bedrooms have single beds which can be zipped together to form king size beds. Please inform us at the time of booking how you would like the beds to be configured. Bedroom 3 has a WC and bedroom 4 is in the attic with an ensuite. There is a spacious family bathroom with a rain fall shower over the bath.
The kitchen-diner is designed for family and friends get togethers, catching up over food that can be cooked in the spacious kitchen with all the mod cons. There is an electric oven, hob, full size fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and air fryer for guests to use. And washing up is no problem with the dishwasher!

Turreted gorgeous Georgian house, located 1hr from both Edinburgh & Glasgow, staying here you will feel miles away from urban life, though in reality you are only a few minutes from the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel, golf courses, excellent local shops, restaurants & railway stations.
The house is an ideal base for large groups of family, friends & even Hens.
The setting, the spectacular vista & the wildlife is what will draw you in & make you never want to leave.
- "I can’t even begin to describe how perfect this estate is whether you’re a couple or a large party. There are enough rooms and beds and baths to accommodate all. Betty was very responsive. The estate is in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything was clean, perfectly laid out, and we had the best time here. I would return 1000 times if I could. It is fairly remote, so having a car is really the only way to get to and from. It’s only a few minutes from the small town of Dunblane (which has a gorgeous cathedral), and about 15 minutes away from Stirling. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Edinburgh, but the scenery is perfect and worth every minute. Highly recommend!"

Town: Dunblane is a small cathedral town situated six miles north of Stirling just off the A9 road which has been bypassed since 1991. Its main landmark is Dunblane Cathedral and the Allan Water runs through the town centre, with the Cathedral and the High Street on the east side. The nearby Victorian spa town of Bridge of Allan three miles away is a former spa town at the foot of the Ochil Hills near Stirling. It is named after the Allan Water, which flows through the town and on into the River Forth. With a history dating back to the Iron Age, the village formed in the 16th century when the ford was replaced by a stone bridge and mining of copper, silver and gold took place in the hills above. Today, the main street bears Alexander Henderson’s name and the town is prosperous and home to Stirling University, a golf club and many shops and restaurants. So much of central Scotland is within easy reach of Dunblane, and it has good road and rail links to Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews. The beautiful scenery of this area makes it a haven for walkers, cyclists, anglers and nature lovers, and golfers are especially well served with Gleneagles about 20 minutes' drive away, along with Carnoustie and St Andrews, about an hour’s drive away. The Ochil Hills are on the doorstep, and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park a short drive to the north. Also nearby is the city of Stirling, Scotland’s youngest city and yet one that has so much history, specifically Mary Queen of Scots and William Wallace, with the historic Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument being well worth a visit. Dunblane offers an excellent central touring location, while closer to home is the historic Bridge of Allan.

This relaxing two-bedroom property has been loving restored and decorated throughout with cosy, comfortable features and furnishings. Ideal for those wanting to get away and relax or just sit by the wood burner during the colder months. The living room is open plan with a fully functional kitchen and a dining area to enjoy your meals. The master bedroom is bright and spacious, with great views over the Ochil Hills and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom faces the rear of the property overlooking the gardens. There is a good-sized private garden area at the back of the property, which shares a driveway with the neighbour next door. The driveway is not used and is enclosed. The neighbours have the right of way to their adjoining property, but they do not have access to the garden. The charming village of Braco is set quietly in stunning South Perthshire countryside a couple of miles off the A9 and on the tourist route to Crieff. Auchterarder and Dunblane are a short drive away and easy access to Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond. Indeed a lovely village to come and enjoy a relaxing break.

Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is just a 20-minute drive away. Great for short breaks and long ones too. A visit to Stirling Castle and The Battle of Bannockburn experience is highly recommended. Nearby motorway links and with Dunblane railway station within walking distance, it’s easy to explore Scotland from this fantastic house.

Turreted gorgeous Georgian house, located 1hr from both Edinburgh & Glasgow, staying here you will feel miles away from urban life, though in reality you are only a few minutes from the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel, golf courses, excellent local shops, restaurants & railway stations.
The house is an ideal base for large groups of family, friends & even Hens.
The setting, the spectacular vista & the wildlife is what will draw you in & make you never want to leave.
Ground Floor
Large and spacious with a modern, country-style kitchen, which has a dining table for 10, four-oven Aga, induction hob, built-in double electric oven, two dishwashers and a fridge freezer (additional fridge & freezer located in the pantry), with additional seating at the large centre island. A washing machine and tumble drier are located in the utility/loo off the dining room.
The new, larger dining room, off the kitchen now comfortably seats up to 24, if booking the main house and both cottages. The side hall off the dining room leads to a new combined utility & loo, which houses the washing machine and tumble drier, sink and cupboards. The vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board and various cleaning materials are also kept in here.
Off the kitchen is a west-facing conservatory, which is a brilliant place to watch our red squirrel family on the nut feeders, and amazing sunsets over the distant hills
A twin or super king bedroom and a luxury bathroom with walk-in shower and free-standing bath are also on the ground floor
First Floor
A beautiful ironwork staircase leads up to the first floor landing to find one bedroom with super king-sized bed and wonderful westward views and a second, bright east-facing bedroom with king-sized bed. Another luxury bathroom with roll-top, freestanding bath and walk-in shower is also on this floor.
A short corridor and 3 steps lead up to the magnificent first floor drawing room. The large picture windows in this room, which face both east and westwards, afford stunning views/sunsets over the Sheriffmuir Battlefield towards the distant hills and sunrise over the gardens. There is a small stereo HIFi in here and the TV has a DVD player and SKY TV connection.
The master bedroom suite leads off the drawing room and consists of a sizeable bedroom with large picture windows to the east east west, a dressing room and a luxury en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and roll-top bath. The super king-sized bed in this room can also be made up as a pair of singles if required.
Second Floor
The ironwork staircase continues up to the second floor, where you will find a single, turret bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, all with amazing views over the gardens/orchard. A small, but perfectly formed bathroom, with an over bath hand wash spray tap, serves the rooms on this floor.
Within the 20-acres of grounds, are the turreted Georgian house, which sleeps thirteen, and two cottages that sleep four in each. Cots and/or highchairs are available upon request.
The gardens around the property support many species of birds (woodpeckers, buzzards, nuthatch, tree creeper etc.), mammals (red squirrels, roe deer etc.) and amphibians and include an orchard with gazebo, ancient trees, drifts of spring daffodils, amazing azeleas and rhododendrons (flowering in late spring) and many "natural" areas for the wildlife and humans to explore.
Beyond the enclosed grounds and garden, there are walks along paths and through woodland up to a summerhouse overlooking two ponds. The property is ideal for larger groups wishing to be based with easy access to Stirling, the Trossachs, Edinburgh & Glasgow and many other places of interest, including Gleneagles and the Highlands of Scotland
There are a couple of rooms locked in the property these are for linen and sundries. Outside access we just ask for guests staying in any property on the estate respect the privacy of the other guests and keep their dogs under control.
Important - Please Note:
• Please note the private drainage is very sensitive to "wrong" items being
flushed down the loos. Please keep to the usual P, P & P advice given by most water authorities throughout the UK. Nothing more than Poo, Pee & (loo) Paper should be flushed
and definitely NO wipes (or condoms/sanitary/incontinence items etc.) of any kind, please.
• Please do not plug any car charging cables into the domestic electricity supply we cannot support the extra load required to charge hybrid or fully electric cars.
The main house, Stable Cottage & Barn Cottage can be let together, or separately (House alone sleeps 13; 17 with one cottage or 21 with both). If booking two or more properties, please send me a message and I will be able to offer a discounted price.
