Just a footpath away from the award-winning dog friendly sandy beach of Dymchurch. The bungalow is the only holiday property on one level between the main road and beach in Dymchurch and St Mary’s Bay.
Dymchurch is a small village on Romney Marsh boasting a range of shops including an excellent local butcher and a Tesco Express and several places to eat. Also, a children’s amusement park which was rated one of the best for children on TripAdvisor. There is also a station on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch light railway.
It is an ideal location to explore the local towns of Hythe, New Romney, Camber and Rye and further afield Canterbury and Dover famous for its castle. Or take a day trip to France from the Folkstone terminal of Eurostar.
The long sandy beach stretches for miles with a seawall behind it ideal for children to cycle on if not confident on the road. The beach is wonderful for building sandcastles and the puddles left behind as the sea goes out are ideal for young children to play and paddle in.

The bungalow is all on the same level has three bedrooms and sleeps 5 people. It comes equipped with a cot, high chair, bed guard and booster step. There is also plates and cutlery for children.
There is a large selection of board games and the garage contains buckets and spades also body boards making the time on the beach even more enjoyable. The garage can also be used for the storage of bikes etc.
There is a fully comprehensive visitor's handbook which includes details of recommended for local restaurant's and dog friendly pubs and visitor attractions suitable for children.

Location
The bungalow is located on a quite estate with a footpath leading to the beach which is only 250 yards away with no main roads to cross.

The Accommodation
There is a L shaped lounge with smart tv with 2 sofas. The oak dining table overlooks the rear garden and comfortably sits 5.

Wifi is available at the property to make best use of the 2 smart TV's.This is contrary to what vrbo will inform you later in the booking process

The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, fridge/freezer toaster, sandwich toaster, washing machine gas hob and electric oven.

The main bedroom has wall mounted smart TV, bedroom 2 has a pair of full-size single beds and bedroom 3 has a full-size single bed and wall mounted TV. Bedding is included but not towels.

The bathroom has a modern shower bath and separate toilet.

The rear garden is fully enclosed with patio set large sun umbrella and rotary drier. This can be floodlit at night.

The beach is dog friendly all year round. One small/medium dog accepted please give details of breed and age at time of booking. Please note we do accept dogs but there is an additional £50 deposit required which is refunded provided there is no trace of the dog left at the property. Please note the dog must not be left in the property unattended.

Week bookings start on Friday from June to the end of September. Short Breaks minimum of 3 nights normally start on Fridays or Mondays please enquire for prices as short breaks are calculated by us not Vrbo

“Seaspray” is a delight.
The house has been extended and renovated to make it one of our PREMIER properties. It is now simply beautiful and well worth a visit.

This chalet house offers ACCESS via a very short walk to the award winning sandy shores of Dymchurch beach. This area of beach is far enough away from the village that it can often be found with few, if any other people. It's like having your own private beach.

Dymchurch village with its shops and mini supermarket are about half a mile away. You can safely ride to the village along the sea wall or beach, when the tide is out.

This is a Saturday to Saturday Booking. Booking fee is £75per stay.

The house is very spacious and offers very comfortable accommodation for up to six persons.

The spacious lounge/diner has French doors to the rear garden. Also in the living area there are plenty of settees, a colour TV, video, DVD player and Freeview box & a large library of films.

The dining area has a large table with 6 chairs.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and an electric cooker.
There is a day lounge with comfortable seating, lovely for the mornings. Having French doors onto the rear garden.

To the front of the house there is a good sized reading/TV room, also good for playing board games.

Parking was difficult, often parking over the other side of the park due to all the nearer parking spaces being full. If you are cautious of electronic gadgets that could be used to record you unknowingly then the door camera with talk-back can be daunting for example. The electronic door lock could also be problematic, easy to open but locking up was a little hit and miss often stating that the operation could not be completed. For our short stay this was okay but for someone staying longer I can imagine it will get annoying. Positively, there were many board games for all ages available at the location which were used daily by the children and very appreciated."

The town is located on the Romney Marsh, famous for sheep, churches and smuggler's stories. We highly recommend a trip on the historic railway that runs along the coast from Hythe to Dungeness.

Restaurants, cafes, the beach and supermarkets can be accessed on foot. Buses service coastal resorts. It is 27 km to Dover.

The separate kitchen unit is furnished with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker, a kettle and a washing machine. There is also an additional dining table with chairs. The two bedrooms are furnished with a large double or two single beds, a pull out bed and wardrobes. The bathroom was renovated in 2014 and offers a shower, a bathtub, a sink and a toilet. The apartment has gas central heating.

Dymchurch is an old historic village set in the centre of a lovely bay, seven miles wide, sheltered by a range of hills which commands a magnificent view of the English Channel and its shipping. This delightful setting is set in the South Eastern corner of Kent, known as the Garden of England.

Dymchurch owes much of its popularity as a holiday destination to the many miles of firm golden sands, which are washed clean by every tide. At low tide the sea goes out for a considerable distance leaving a perfect playground for even the youngest visitor.

The village has many amenities including many small shops and cafes, a small supermarket, a post office, a funfair, amusements, and several public houses. There are frequent buses up and down the coast road, and the one-third-scale steam and diesel locomotives of the famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, call at Dymchurch Station on their way from Hythe to Dungeness.

For those people who are desirous of a more quiet and peaceful holiday, Dymchurch is a con­venient centre for exploring the historic Romney Marsh, especially for those who prefer to turn aside from the bustle of the modern age to the quiet lanes with their beauty, and thorn set dykes.

For those who love the past this village has unending interest, where one can find the Land of the Normans, and the Romans in the many works that have been unearthed around Dymchurch.

There is a kindliness and friendliness in this lovely corner of Kent. It is hoped that a stay at Seabreeze might attract many who might not otherwise have ventured to visit this lovely and unique Dymchurch.

There are various shops in the village, including a Tesco Express, which is open from 7am until 11pm.

Dymchurch is an old historic village set in the centre of a lovely bay, seven miles wide, sheltered by a range of hills which commands a magnificent view of the English Channel and its shipping. This delightful setting is set in the South Eastern corner of Kent, known as the Garden of England. Dymchurch owes much of its popularity as a holiday destination to the many miles of firm golden sands, which are washed clean by every tide. At low tide the sea goes out for a considerable distance leaving a perfect playground for even the youngest visitor. The village has many amenities including many small shops and cafes, a small supermarket, a post office, a funfair, amusements, and several public houses. There are frequent buses up and down the coast road, and the one-third-scale steam and diesel locomotives of the famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, call at Dymchurch Station on their way from Hythe to Dungeness. For bigger shopping trips or family outings, New Romney and Hythe are 15 minutes away, offering supermarkets and attractions such as Lympne Castle & Zoo. Folkestone, Dover, Rye, and Canterbury are within 30–45 minutes, perfect for sightseeing, dining, shopping, and exploring Kent’s “Garden of England.”

Beach Retreat offers the ‘perfect beach and summer holiday’ with guaranteed safe sunbathing 365 days a year!

The house has been newly refurbished to an exceptional standard with king size beds, Jacuzzi bath, marble fireplaces, cinema room, real sunlight room, "St Tropez" style living area with beach bar, full DJ and light effect setup, large gardens and direct access to the sandy beach.

Occupying the ground floor of this former hotel, the property has been refurbished to an exceptional standard to provide a stylish and spacious holiday retreat, nestled in a quiet location at the end of a private road, with a large lawned garden and direct access to the sandy beach.

The retreat is one of the first in the country, alongside The Wholistic Medical Centre in Harley Street and Grange St Pauls 5* Hotel, to have installed ‘Real Sunlight’s’ innovative health-giving sun simulators. The sun room is part of the St Tropez-style large living area and provides a multi-sensory tropical haven where guests can top up their tan and feel fabulous since it is beneficial against a whole host of health conditions such as SAD, stress, arthritis, disorders and more.

Whether it is enjoying playing celebrity chef with the six-hob range cooker, spinning the vinyl decks as a superstar DJ, or relaxing in front of a great movie in the authentic cinema room featuring velvet cinema seats and popcorn machine, guests will have a great time in this house!

Afetr busy days spent on the beach, guests of Beach Retreat are guaranteed an excellent night's sleep in one of the boutique, individually-themed bedrooms. On the ground floor are two king-size double rooms, both boasting luxury en-suite bathrooms and a single room. On the first floor, is a further "time travellers" themed twin room, a second twin room boasting its very own swing and a "surfer-style" bunkbed room, each completed with en-suite bathrooms. Also on this level is a further "Versailles-style" double room which has private use of the family bathroom and a king-sized bedroom, sharing the same bathroom. The penthouse second floor has another double bedroom with private bathroom and wonderful sea views.

The garden features a large lawned area with cast iron statue, an illuminated well stocked fish pond that houses Koi and goldfish, a small tropical garden, BBQ, outdoor daybed and garden furniture.

From Dover’s white cliffs to the magnificent Canterbury cathedral to the new Turner Gallery there’s so much to see and do in Kent. Shop on cobbled streets in Rye, experience safari adventures at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, taste wines at Biddenden Vineyards, admire brightly-coloured orchards and beautiful countryside driving through picture card villages or visit impressive Bodiam or Leeds Castle.

Hythe has a lovely high street with plenty of antiques, small shops and restaurants. Folkestone’s Creative Quarter is a hive of arty activity with galleries galore. Folkestone Leas nature park overlooks the ocean and perfectly complements dinner at the Grand Hotel. Dungeness Nature Reserve is fascinating with fishermen’s huts and the largest expanse of shingle in Europe - a haven for wildlife spotters. Dymchurch Railway is a 15" gauge main-line in miniature, with operating steam and diesel hauled trains. France is only an hour away with the Eurotunnel.

For rainy days and retail therapy, Ashford has a large outlet centre next to the International train station. There are several golf courses nearby such as Littlestone Warren (British open qualify rounds), Lydd, Hythe Imperial or Sene Valley.

Please note that whilst Beach Retreat can sleep up to 17 guests, the maximum capacity is 15 guests.

The house can be booked for weekends (Fri-Mon), mid-week (Mon-Fri) or full weeks. There is always a Monday or Friday changeover day.
