- "My boyfriend and I had an overnight stay at Little Dane Court a couple of weeks ago after a dining experience on The Kent and East Sussex Railway. This hotel is a converted grade 2 listed building with several rooms. We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. The kimono style robes and slippers are a lovely editions, as well as the little chocolate eggs alongside the tea and coffee. Rod was a lovely host; he saw us in and recommended a bar in the evening (which we took him up on and enjoyed!) He told us we were the only people staying at the hotel and whilst friendly, he was not overbearing which some hosts can be when there are not many people staying in the accommodation. He made us a cooked breakfast the following day and quickly responded to emails. In addition, the room was prepared for 12pm (even though the check in time is 4pm) so we had plenty of time to wind down and get ready; enjoying the room. This did not come at an extra charge and was extremely helpful. The hotel is at the end of the 'high street' so the perfect location in Tenterden too. Thank you Rod for your hospitality!"

This is a cosy end terrace cottage which sleeps 3, situated in St. Michaels; with shops and pubs on the doorstep it is also 1 mile outside the beautiful Kent town of Tenterden. Tenterden is a very attractive small market town with plenty of independent shops and small cafes, two supermarkets, banks and a choice of pubs and restaurants. The attractive High Street is a tree lined avenue which has an abundance of historic buildings to gaze at including a fabulous 11th century church. The property is ideally situated to explore the wide variety of activities that the Kent and Sussex coast and countryside offer from the Cinque Port towns of Hastings, Rye and Hythe to the main county towns of Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury. There are several National Trust properties nearby including the impressive Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle and Smallhythe Place. Moreover, there are a number of easy walks from the doorstep as well as water based activities at Rye and Newenden. The nos. 2, 1 and 18 national network cycle paths pass nearby and the area is home to a number of keen cycling clubs. The property benefits from off road parking and an enclosed garden to the rear with good quality garden furniture. The sitting room has a TV and DVD plus wood burning stove (some logs provided). Whilst we pride ourselves on our already high level of cleanliness and hygiene at No.4 Bardens Row, for your own peace of mind, we have reviewed our practices due to Covid-19 and have implemented the following additional procedures;
• Hand sanitiser is placed at both entry and exit points at the front and back doors. Please use this when returning to the cottage in addition to washing your hands.
• There is antibacterial liquid soap for hand washing and we would encourage you to do this whenever returning to the cottage.
• In addition to the thorough clean the cottage receives between guests, all ‘high touch’ areas such as light switches, door handles, handrails, plugs, keys, television remotes etc. are prioritised and receive additional disinfecting.
• Cleaners use full PPE when preparing the cottage for your stay.
• All soft furnishings are sprayed with Dettol Disinfectant Spray

Situated in a rural location, yet with Tenterden on the doorstep, The Stable spot has some amazing views across the Wealden countryside. Once a stable, the property has been tastefully restored into a quality home from home. Each fitting has been skilfully crafted - each door has been hand made and the beautiful brickwork, beams give a real sense of authenticity. The patio looks across a paddock and has garden furniture. Fresh farm produce can also be purchased from next door depending on the season.

Off from the entrance hall, the well equipped kitchen includes oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Stepping down from this into the spacious lounge and dining area, the exposed brickwork and wood-burning stove bring a great deal of character. Comfortable seating for 6 in both dining and lounge spaces along with a flat-screen Freeview TV and double doors which lead out onto the patio. The family bathroom including bath with shower over, WC and basin is also on this floor as well as a double bedroom with en-suite shower-room. The Cowshed is a new conversion of a building which was once a cow barn. Set in a country garden, with views of a large pond, this property is ideal for an escape to the country, with high-spec modern fittings, luxurious bedding and beautiful lighting. Located 1.5 miles from the historic market town of Tenterden with plenty of shops and restaurants. The Cowshed benefits from a private south-facing garden.

With French furniture, ornate mirrors, designer soft furnishings and white plantation shutters, The Pavilion provides the perfect place for a romantic break. Located a good distance from the main house to ensure privacy but near enough should guests require any assistance. Guests have full use of the beautiful gardens, including a parterre with roses, a fountain, natural pond and tennis court. For those animal lovers, guests can interact with Marmite, our hand-reared Indian Runner Ducks and his friends, or Snoopy the Border Terrier. It's not uncommon in the Spring/Summer to see ducklings waddling around the garden too.

Tenterden with its charming tree lined main street, traditional white clad buildings and independent shops is only a 15-20 minute walk from Brunger House. The town offers a range of country pubs, restaurants, quaint tea rooms, as well as The Kent & East Sussex Steam Railway where you can take a trip to Bodiam Castle, or take a tour around The Old Dairy Brewery or Chapel Down Vineyard, with its award winning wines.

The Pavilion is also perfectly located as a base for exploring Kent & East Sussex. The nearest Coastline is only 10 miles from Tenterden. Tenterden is a perfect base for exploring quaint Kentish & East Sussex villages & towns, visiting some of the many National Trust Houses & Gardens, experiencing or wine or cider tasting at one of the local Vineyards. There are some lovely walks and cycle routes around Tenterden for those guests who enjoy the outdoors.

For guests with an interest in old houses, the hosts would be happy to provide a tour of the main house. Two rooms are also available in the main house (excluding Christmas) to accommodate larger groups, or for couples with children, we can offer a camping experience for children, with a tent erected by The Pavilion.

Metre apartment, directly opposite the park and leisure centre, with a shared entrance area with utility room, Main lockable door to the apartment with 4 double/twin bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms, large kitchen/diner and a living room, and a small balcony off the Master Bedroom. A floor plan is available with the photos.Modernly fitted out, but be aware being 500 years old, there is a very narrow staircase to the 3rd floor. However it has all the useful equipment to make your stay happy, and yet all the features of history of this area of Kent. Situated in the wide, tree lined high street of this ancient Market Town, known as the ‘Jewel of Kent’. Ronbeams also offers parking for 2 cars situated nearby and space for bike storage.

Coming into Tenterden from. M20 or A21, at the traffic lights with the park on your left , the property is on the small slip road on the right, behind and above County Clothes menswear. There may be a space outside or find a parking space in the high street, in the car park opposite or follow directions below to the car parking space, for 1 car. It may be easier to get in, find your bearings and then park.

Generally parking in the town is for 1 hour between 9 am and 5 pm, free on Sundays and bank holidays and there are several car parks within minutes walk.

Go up the passage next to the shop, first door (green) on the right with a black gate is Ronbeams.

Keys are in a box on the wall to the right, Brass key for the front door , silver for the internal door.
Inside, on the workbench are spare keys and a map to the car space. There is a wagon to help ferry any luggage if you should need it ! Accommodation door is first on the left, the other 2 doors belong to the shop. This area needs to be kept clear, except for coats, Footwear and Bags and bikes need to be kept in the 1st two rooms please.

Car spaces both approximately 3 minute walk! Map on site photos ,strictly for 1 car only, with reserved for 2 East Cross on the wall. Please park neatly to ensure all other vehicles can manoeuvre.

- "Very good" - "Unfortunately for us we didn't get the 'tranquil' and 'peaceful' setting that's advertised. We had to leave a day early due to the extreme temperatures the hut gets especially at night with no fans available. Also during our whole stay, extremely large farming machinery was used to cultivate the vines around us which was noisy and gave us no privacy, the vehicle came within metres of us! On a positive note the area is absolutely stunning and if it wasn't for these factors, the stay would have been perfect!"

- "Nice place, perfect for a weekend. Good decor and in good condition. Confusion on whether a parking permit needed displaying (it didn’t) so waster about 30 mins trying to get past the Vrbo bots. Once we got a human all was cleared up. However it would be good if the manual were to be updated. Bed comfy. Seating for the dressing table to do makeup was a kind of beanbag which was a struggle and the lighting was tricky as there was very little natural light in the bedroom. Kitchen well equipped except for no microwave. "

Formerly the home of actor Sir Donald Sinden, this luxury 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom holiday home, tastefully refurbished, has retained much of its original charisma and charm, blending modern comfort with the warmth and authenticity of more traditional furniture, fittings and antiquities.

Accommodating up to 12 guests, it provides a perfect setting for both cosy intimate get-togethers plus larger entertaining. Many other splendid family gatherings, as well as high profile guests, from fellow Thespians & Artists to Politicians & Royalty have been successfully hosted here over the years.

The closest town, Tenterden, is only 3 miles away. Named the ‘Jewel of the Weald’ and recently ranked the most ‘stylish’ place to live in Kent. Tenterden, known for its tree-lined High Street and stunning buildings, is a charming town with plenty of shops, sporting activities and other attractions.

A favoured spot for cyclists and walkers, the house is placed firmly in wine country with many vineyards & wineries within close proximity, including the well-known Chapel Down Vineyard its 2 AA Rosette restaurant, The Swan Wine Kitchen, just two fields away.

The popular local Ferry Inn is within walking distance, serving great food, local ales & wines, as well as award-winning burgers and a beer garden to view the incredible sunsets.

Small Hythe Place, former home of Dame Ellen Terry, is also within walking distance, with several other National Trust properties, including Sissinghurst Gardens nearby.

The historic town of Rye, expansive golden beaches at Camber Sands, Willow Farm Shooting Ground for a few rounds of clays, Headcorn Aerodrome (if skydiving is on the bucket list) and many more landmark locations are within a short drive. London is accessible in just an hour from the local railway station, a few miles away.

Please note the main house sleeps 10/12 guests, 10 in the five king or twin bedrooms. An additional 2 guests can be accommodated on two fold up beds in the main house and/or a double sofa bed plus fold out chair bed in the adjacent Garden House 30m away, with use of the main house facilities. On same day changeovers the hot tub may not be available until later in the evening on your day of arrival.

The property lies just a mile from the northeastern outskirts of the High Weald National Landscape, offering miles of breathtaking countryside for you to explore, a drive around Frittenden is recommended. The area is known for its scenic walks and is home to some of England’s finest vineyards. Local attractions include the winery estate of Chapel Down, the 14th-century Bodiam Castle, and the stunning Sissinghurst Castle Garden, all within 12 miles.
