- "We are familiar with the area as we have been coming to Eagle Nest and Idlewild since I was a child. We were excited to find such a great place in Eagle Nest. A perfect spot to see the July 4th parade line up and got to watch the fireworks from the front lawn. Hope to rent the place again." - "Everything about the cabin and its amenities was excellent! Enough space for 3 families with 2 twin bunk beds, a king and queen bed in the additional 2 bedrooms. Very nice, updated and modern bathrooms with a huge shower in the master. Double sinks in both bathrooms. Enough living space to gather and play the provided board games. Recliner couches were very comfortable. Gas fireplace in the living room was a nice addition and put out a lot of heat. Only about a 17 min drive to Angel Fire resort. Very clean upon arrival and there was a washer and dryer. On demand water heater and we always had enough hot water for multiple showers in a row. The only issue I had was with Vacasa and not the actual cabin. The check in process was complicated and required additional identity verification and it said my identity couldn't be verified and my reservation was canceled. I had to call Vacasa before I could get the door code to have them fix this and reinstate my reservation which took time. We had already arrived at the cabin. I think this is unnecessary especially since I have rented with VRBO for years. I wouldn’t recommend Vacasa for this reason. "

- "This is a perfect location in Eagle Nest. It is a mobile home in a group of mobile homes, with a gym on the property. My kids (son 13 and daughter 14) are getting to that age where they really appreciate having their own rooms. Well, getting a 3 bedroom house in Angel Fire or Red River is pretty pricey. Angel Fire and Red River are usually more expensive, even if I just got a one or two bedroom home. Here, my kids had a room of their own, and it wasn’t that expensive. Also, the drive to Angel Fire or Red River isn’t that bad. The extra benefit we got, was a slightly shorter trip back to Texas (through Eagle Nest, and back east). The owners were great! They sent directions through the app, and even gave us their cell numbers. The app wasn’t responding at one time, and I had to text. Very polite and considerate hosts. They even stopped by on the last day to ask how it was. This location is at the top of my list, next time I ski Angel Fire or Red River!"

The C Diamond C Ranch is a private horse and cattle ranch with spectacular views, tall pines, acres of hiking. This ranch is perfect for your boutique style destination wedding, church or corporate retreat, family reunion or just a great get away with space!! (Events for more than the number of guests staying overnight is limited to 75 people total and an additional fee through VRBO is required) The ranch has a live stream and pond with catch and release fishing, (no swimming or boating) as well as often sighting deer, elk, hawks, and the livestock on the ranch. It is only 20 minutes form the wonderful towns and ski slopes of Angle Fire and Red River. Eagle Nest lake is only 2 miles away!
The ranch sleeps 30 people in two separate lodging units about 1/8th of a mi apart. An impressive 3 -story headquarters 6-bedroom "Cabin" with two living rooms, two master suites, 5 bathrooms, sun room and loft. The second unit is a separate 2000 sq. ft. second story "Lodge" great room for eating, playing pool, watching movies, and enjoying the views with a wrap around deck. Additionally, the sleeping quarters at the Lodge unit is a detached 6- bedroom newly remodeled "bunkhouse" and large "ranch" kitchen. The bunk house has three bedrooms with a queen or full bed, one room with a queen and a single bed, one room with two sets of bunkbed (sleeps 4) and one room has one set of bunk beds (sleeps 2). There are 2 bathrooms down the hall (European style). both have toilets two sinks, two showers and one has a tub. There is also a creek that runs the entire length of the ranch and a "catch and release " fishing pond. The lodge unit is adjacent to the livestock operation that runs April through October.

- "We had an amazing time. We were a family of 26 ranging in ages from 1-68 and it was perfect for us. The house is amazing with 6 large bedrooms and a loft with 4 beds as well as multiple bathrooms. This was great for the little kids and adults. The teenagers stayed in the bunkhouse which was great. The place is in a beautiful location with mountains on both sides and plenty of wildlife. We saw deer and elk in the area and lots of prairie dogs and many bird species. There is a creek that runs through the land with a small pond. Even though it feels remote, it was only 20 minutes from Red River and Angel Fire and only a few minutes from Eagle Nest. Overall, it could not have been any better. My family is already wanting to go back. The owner was very attentive and responsive."

Accommodating up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 living areas, and 2 full baths, the cabin’s beautiful design, mountain views, and proximity to popular attractions provide the perfect backdrop for creating special mountain-style vacation memories. Sit on the porch and enjoy the visit of wild turkeys and deer as well as the relaxation and the sound of nature.

Cozy, warm and inviting, this cabin is ideal for a honeymoon, romantic getaway, or small family vacation. Guests will enjoy the open layout with room to gather for family fun and meals. The eat-in kitchen is nicely equipped with all the prep ware needed for delicious home cooking. It also features a gorgeous wood table that seats six people comfortably.

With two living areas, both with high-definition smart TVs, you'll have plenty of space to spread out comfortably. One of these areas can be converted to either a bedroom with a sleeper sofa for additional guests or a separate family room for relaxation. Both bathrooms are modern yet styled with rustic finishes providing guests with an authentic mountain aesthetic. You will also have access to complementary high-speed WiFi; free streaming channels; a laundry area with a washer/dryer; and a large front yard to relax and BBQ.

Our software automatically discounts 10% for weekly stays and 20% for monthly stays and our posted prices is our best price, so please do not message us asking for a "special discounted rate."
The locks, the cleaners and our maintenance personnel all work on an automated schedules based on our published check-in time and check out times. In addition, we only have a narrow 5 hour window to prepare the property between the posted checkout time and the posted check-in time. For these reasons early check in or late checkout is no longer free and "may" be able to be purchased at a rate of $20/hour prior to check-in time, or $20/hour after listed checkout time.
The grill is available from mid-April to mid-October.

The refrigerator and freezer are both oversized commercial grade and go ahead and take note of the wine cooler set up by the mimosa and coffee bar for extra storage. The oversized pantry is especially handy for longer stays or larger groups. The built in ice maker is a bonus to end your day with a nice beverage. You will have access to all kitchen appliances to include crock pots, air fryers, Keurig, hand mixer, bread maker, waffle iron, roasting pans, etc. The house boasts so much charm to relax and rejuvenate, but the views are incredible!
