- "We love stopping to eat at the oasis restaurant when ever we travel thru Raton for the last 30 years but have never stayed at the motel till this week as we are usually pulling an RV. The motel looks aged but the interior is awesome with kingsize ,comfortable bed and really nice furniture. The bathroom could use a little updating but hey, everything worked well and the hot water was quick. Plus you can walk about 50 steps and have a great meal that’s well frequented by the locals.
