The brown house was spotless and inviting, with interesting furnishings and collectibles. It’s a place to relax close to nature, read a book from the local bookstore or practice your photographic skills. We enjoyed long walks in the area near the brown house. The Edisto Environmental Center which has hands on displays, also has nature trails near the shore. The nearby Edisto Historical Museum with many photos and artifacts was our particular favorite. We think beautiful Edisto Island is a very special place."

Sleeping Arrangements:
Unwind in a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests. While the condo is best suited for 2 adults and 3 children, all are welcome to enjoy its cozy atmosphere. Feel free to bring an air mattress for added comfort.

Bedroom Space:
The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, complete with a comforter, pillows, and blankets for your comfort. Please note as mentioned that we do not provide linens like sheets or pillowcases. See further down the listing for linen package info if you do not plan to bring your own. The sleeper sofa in the living room also has a comforter and pillows. Extra pillows are also available in the bedroom closet.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped with a mid-size fridge, microwave, oven, blender, toaster, pots & pans, and all necessary cooking utensils. (No food or cooking condiments provided). Although it's not guaranteed, we do our best to provide some basic spices, oil, and medium roast coffee. We have a 12 cup coffee maker, with filters provided.

Laundry:
Washer and dryer are available for guest use. We strive to provide laundry detergent, hand soap, and dishwashing liquid, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Outdoor Space:
Relax on the small back deck overlooking the pond filled with turtles and the adjacent golf course.

TV Entertainment:

Booking Requirements:
- ID Submission: You must provide a picture of your government ID within 24 hours of booking to us directly. This is required by our insurance company. The ID is kept on file only for the duration of your stay and then deleted. You can send the ID via the VRBO app, text, or email. If ID is not provided, unfortunately, the reservation will be canceled as a house rule violation.

- Communication: After booking, we will reach out to confirm and complete the booking process. Please ensure your VRBO app notifications or emails are turned on. Unresponsive reservations will be canceled.

Linen/Towel Information:
Guests must bring their own toiletries, bath towels, washcloths, and bed linens. Alternatively, S&J Linen Services, a local company, offers a linen package for a reasonable fee (not included in the reservation cost). Due to the time and expense of laundering, we do not provide linens, which is reflected in our discounted rental rates. S&J's package options are shown on the last picture of the listing.

You have access to the entire condominium. The parking area is right out front of the condos (sometimes during the busy season you may have to park further out in the parking lot)

1. Pest Awareness:
Please note that South Carolina, including this island, is home to various insects and creatures. Palmetto bugs, resembling roaches, and small Anole lizards may occasionally find their way into homes.

2. Water Quality:
Due to the condo's proximity to the beach, the tap water may have a slight salty taste, which is normal and safe. If this is not to your preference, there's a small grocery store just a 5-minute drive away in Edisto where you can purchase bottled water.

3. Pet Policy:
This is a pet-free home due to severe allergies and asthma. Bringing pets into the premises is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction without refund, along with responsibility for any damages incurred, including additional cleaning fees and upholstery cleaning. This policy applies to service animals as well, as the residence is partially owner-occupied when not occupied by guests.

4. No Smoking Policy:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home; however, it is permitted outside. Evidence of smoking indoors will result in cleaning fees and a $250 fine.

5. Vehicle Restrictions:
Wyndham regulations prohibit boats or golf carts on the property. If you plan to bring a boat, there are private docks on the island where you can rent a slip.

- Reservations with house rule violations will not be refunded

We have vacationed at Edisto for nearly twenty years and felt it was time to have a place to call our own. We are raising two boys and our hope is that Edisto creates wonderful memories for them. Our home is small and cozy. Perfect for a couple or a small family. We put alot of love into this home and its truly our favorite place to be. Though it is small it is the PERFECT getaway.
There is a den and kitchen, two bedrooms and one full bath. We love sitting on the porch at night listening to the ocean. There is also a deck were you can cookout and watch the deer romp through the yard at night. We are directly across the street from a beach access.

Additional Access to resort amenities include: Mini-golf (fee), playground, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts (bring your own rackets & balls) and 18 holes at The Plantation Course at Edisto (fees).

The marina offers dining, boat charters and a great place to watch the sunset.

Edisto Island has many locally owned places for dining, shopping and relaxing. Charleston is just 45 minutes north, with Beaufort 40 mins to the south for easy day trips for additional shopping and site seeing.

There is absolutely NO SMOKING or E cigarettes allowed on the property including the porch. You will be charged an extra fee for cleaning if there is smoking detected.
