Magnolia Cottage is a charming, rustic timber cottage offering the true feel of the country yet so close to the quaint country towns of Cooroy, Eumundi and Pomona, just 15 minutes from Noosaville and the Gympie Tce river/restaurant precinct and another 5 minutes to the glitz of Noosa’s Hastings Street and Main Beach.

The cottage offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is separated from the The Stables (also listed on HomeAway) by a tranquil courtyard with fountain.

Magnolia Cottage is situated on 2 acres of lovely gardens with views across our lily filled dam and rope suspension bridge, to the mountain beyond.

Our cottage has been furnished to provide a relaxed home away from home feel with added luxurious touches.

The space: Magnolia Cottage has everything to ensure your family and your pet have a great time.
It is a "real" home, from the swing rope over the dam to the fire pit, and is newly refurbished including most appliances.

Downstairs: Open plan kitchen with gas cooktop, dining area and living room (with 50” LED TV, DVD and usb compatible soundbar) opening onto entertaining deck with glorious views and Weber BBQ.
The wide and shady veranda has gates at both ends, offering a secure space for most dogs. The garden between the cottage and dam is fenced (combination wire and timber). The dam itself is not fenced, and the property may not be suitable for very young children. Please contact us for further details if you have any concerns.

Other things to note: Magnolia Cottage is a rural property and on tank water, with a filtration system providing drinking water, and a septic system. The space
The little Timber cabin was built 15+ years ago and was not looked after very well for the past 10 years. We have spent the last several years chipping away at bringing it back to life whilst trying to keep that log cabin charm whilst adding some of the smaller luxuries to make it a getaway to remember. With a private yard, outdoor shower, pizza oven and BBQ area, this is a place for lovers of the outdoors. Inside, we have 3 spacious bedrooms, old cast iron fireplace in the living room and plenty of areas for WFH set-ups with 2 office areas and high-speed Satellite WIFI throughout.

The Property is on 4.5 acres so no shortage of car spaces near the house or for larger vehicles, they can be parked down near the road on the lower part of the property on the caravan clearing.

Welcome to "The Eumundian” - a freestanding rock bungalow with valley views. On 2.5 acres, you are free to explore the back island paddock, seasonal creek and rainforest. The self contained space has a private covered terrace plus a sun filled courtyard area. Adjacent to our main house, the bungalow has been designed for your privacy. Walk 2 km to Eumundi or drive 20 minutes to Noosa beaches and restaurants.

The Rock Bungalow is the perfect place to escape, relax and unwind.

LIVING
The main living space is open plan with stacker doors, TV with Netflix, ceiling fan, aircon, kitchenette, microwave, electric cooker, pod coffee machine and dishwasher. The stacker doors and windows are privacy tinted from the outside.

BEDROOM
Relax in the bedroom with queen bed - with views down the valley to the creek, rainforest and paddock.

BATHROOM
The retro 80”s bathroom blends the original 80's shower tiles and vanity we adore with modern pink Terazzo tiles, brand new toilet and shower screen ( small vanity and compact shower cubicle.

TERRACE
There is a fully enclosed covered terrace shielded by huge double barn doors.
There is a back entertaining courtyard with private access. Umbrella provided on request.

2.5 ACRES WITH OUR DOGS
Guests are welcome to explore the 2.5 acre property with its gentle slope, creek, rainforest and completely private paddock island - we can provide a picnic blanket, basket on request.

No other dogs allowed because our friendly Border Collies are on site. They love a stick, ball or pat. They are market regulars and great with people. You are welcome to play with them in the gardens or terraces but please don't invite them inside the Bungalow ( they might swim in the dam and jump into bed with you ).

I have a little boy who has spent his life being scared of any dog, but by the end of our stay he was giving Ringo, Bo and Yoko commands and playing with them. Giselle so very kindly gave of her time to make Benjy feel relaxed and welcomed and to show him the great nature of the dogs too. I never forget people who are that kind to my boy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. But I also want to keep it my little secret place, so don't go booking all the days out haha!"

The Stables offers unique accommodation with a taste of the Australian Outback. This rustic mudbrick and timber cottage has a self contained studio upstairs (Queen bed plus a sofa bed) with all the mod cons and little touches of luxury, set within 2 acres of beautiful hinterland gardens.
Downstairs you will find a sensational games room with a classic David Brodie pool table and bar and wall mounted LED smart TV. The barn doors can be opened to invite the late afternoon sun and the sounds of the myriad bird varities.

The studio apartment upstairs has a 38" LED smart tv and sound bar. Furnished with an eclectic mix of new furniture and old artwork, it has a very country feel. Downstairs the mudbrick games room is home to a growing collection of country paintings, old farm implements, a David Brodie pool table and bar, leather chairs and cowskin hides. And a 42" LED smart tv and sound bar for entertainment whilst you play pool. If you prefer something quieter, light the fire pit by the dam and watch the evening fade away. May not be suitable for mobile children due to the unfenced dam, but a travel cot is available for very young children by prior arrangement.

The Stables shares the grounds with Magnolia Cottage; separated by a rustic courtyard. Both properties share the footpath running along the front of the Stables.
