Nestled at the base of Mt Ninderry, a short stroll to the mountain walking track, and a short drive to the Wappa waterfalls, this acreage property offers country lifestyle with an abundance of wildlife, with all the benefits of living within a short drive to the best beaches, restaurants, Eumundi markets and train station. You will have an entire main house on the upper level of 2 storey Queenslander with private driveway /entrance. There is a small caretaker granny flat on the lower level. Ann Maree, the caretaker, is there if help is needed, and, in addition, offers in-house delicious cooking, extra cleaning and laundry. Otherwise, she doesn’t interact with the guests. Most of our guests found this arrangement extremely useful.

We recommend accessing the property by car. Mt. Ninderry walking track is approximately 3 min drive or 10 min walk.

Wrens Nest is self sufficient on tank water so please be water wise.
There is an abundance of native wildlife Kangaroos, Koalas and Birdlife so we recommend keeping an eye on your dogs or pets while they are outside.

Our pub-style accommodations is located on the upper level of the Hotel. We offer a range of accommodations options covering Budget, Family and Ensuite Rooms at reasonable prices. Please note we a 137-year-old country pub and DO NOT facilitate late-night check-ins. The upper level has been renovated and most rooms lead out to the lovely wide verandas where you can relax with views to Mt. Ninderry and the historical township of Yandina. Please be aware of the pub noise on the weekends as we have local bands playing every Friday night from 8-11pm and live soloists playing every Saturday night from 7-10pm too. The main residence is large and spacious with open-plan living positioned to take full advantage of the aspect and amazing coastline views on offer.

At the top of the driveway near the roadside is the neighboring property, we please ask that all guests are respectful of the neighbors, driving past slowly and limiting the number of cars permitted to using the driveway to three.
Please note there are three cameras on-site monitoring the entrances and the driveway to ensure this house rule is accommodated.

There is an additional bedroom however this is locked and not available for guest use and is not photographed in the listing.

This property has a strict no-party policy. There are three cameras, one at the main residence's front door, one on the studio front door and the other facing the driveway. None of the cameras have visibility to the pool, entertaining areas or inside the house. The cameras have the capacity to monitor sound.

This property is on acreage that backs on to bush land. This means that small animals, insects etc may be present on the property at times as they inhabit the area.

There are two cameras at the property; Front door and end of house - both cameras view the driveway. There are no internal cameras or cameras that can see into the property.

Electric vehicles are not permitted to be charged due to insurance criteria.

A BBQ is available for guest use, there is an additional cleaning charge of $30 if the BBQ is not cleaned after use.

Please clean the coffee machine before you leave if you have used it.

No parties or social gatherings, unless approved in writing from host.

No noise that could disturb the neighbours after 10pm. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

Vistors of guests are by written approval only.

The hosts reserves the right to cancel the accommodation and provide no refund if the cameras are turned off or tampered with or there are additional unauthorised staying guests or pets that have been brought onto the property.
