The cabin has a whole house water filter so you can enjoy softer water when bathing.
It is Only 15 min to the Ark Encounter and about 45 min to the Creation Museum.

For summer time if you still have time after visiting the Ark and Creation Museum, there is also a marina only 17 minutes away where you can rent a pontoon boat to go and enjoy the lake.

We do not use interior cameras but use exterior cameras to help coordinate cleaners, checkins and checkouts when we are not there.

- "Great home with docks for swimming and boating.The canoe and paddle boards were a big hit. Dock swimming with water pad was the winner! Beds were comfortable. House was super clean and well organized. The coffee area doesn't work well. Doesn't fit for pouring water and filling coffee into machine. Would have been nice to have spice rack, small bottle of cooking oil, small containers of coffee to get started till you can go grocery shopping. Most places store a box of baggies, foil and plastic wrap. That is hard to travel with and is nice to leave for next guest. I replaced foil and left some coffee for next guests. Left couple fly swatters for flys. Oh yeah thanks for the bug spray. Can't carry on plane. God's blessing on you for sharing your home with us."

Welcome to this gorgeous lakefront property located right on Williamstown Lake. As you head down the stairs onto the back deck, you will immediately notice the gorgeous water views and quickly begin to unwind. Upon entering the house you'll find an open concept living area with a sectional and a dining table that seats six. The kitchen is well stocked to gather and prepare meals. Beyond the kitchen is a full bath with walk in shower. Take the stairs up to the open family room and its fabulous views of the lake! The large open area offers a small seating area for watching TV, 2 twin beds, and an additional loft with a queen size bed. There are two bedrooms off of the family room. One has a king bed and the other has a queen. The queen bedroom has an exterior door that leads out to the driveway for easy unloading and loading of vehicles. A half bath joins the two bedrooms in the middle.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered back patio with the most gorgeous view or grill up a bbq feast on the gas grill provided. The large covered dock is a great place to relax with a cold beverage and watch the boats go by in the summer or do a little dock fishing. Feel free to use our 4 adult kayaks or 2 stand up paddle boards. The dock has a second level for extra room or for those who like to lay in the sun.

This is such a cozy and comfortable lake home, a great place to relax and enjoy a family or friends getaway. You'll want to return again and again!

We came with our 4 young kids and went to the Ark Encounter and Creation museums during our stay, but we would have been thrilled to have stayed all our days at the lake house. The kids LOVED the rubber dockie option and paddle boards and kayaks and jumping off the dock and were totally enamored by all the board games and the available Wii, even though mostly we swam! The amenities were great. Dawn was so good about communication and checking in and I really felt like ALL our basic needs were covered. - "Super clean and good shower and nice kitchen. I had enough paper products (paper towels and toilet tissue). Plus furnished with plenty of coffee, creamer and stevia plus sweet and low and Splenda. I stayed 12 nights and enjoyed 2 large cups of coffee every morning. They also had good shampoo to wash your hair. Plenty of dish washing detergent to hand wash your dishes. Maintenance man and cleaning lady were super nice and the host called me 3 times to make sure everything was good."

- "I was a little surprised it was a duplex, but it was quiet and pretty, and had obviously recently been redone just for renting out like this, nobody lives there. It's extremely close to the Ark Encounter, and the little Main St businesses nearby were nice to visit as well. There was coffee, but no cream or sugar. Cooking utensils, but no grilling utensils. Only a couple seasonings, nothing in the fridge like condiments etc. So plan ahead with food! My kids loved that there were TVs in both living areas and the bedrooms. We would stay again! I would just be more prepared in ways since this is not a lived-in home normally. Lance was very quick to respond when I had a question too. Overall, it was wonderful!"

The cottage is 700 SF with an additional 300 SF screened-in porch. 2 identically sized bedrooms, both with full beds, antique dressers, nightstands, charging stations, ceiling fans and roman shades. The living room has a sofa with a queen memory foam pull-out bed.

The beautiful porch includes two ceiling fans, a dining table for 6, 50" smart TV, luxurious padded conversation set and two rocking chairs from which to enjoy your morning coffee or catch up on your reading.

Step outside to the outside deck outfitted with picnic table, patio table and Weber gas grill. It doesn't end there! Stroll down another 25' of gentle slope to the waters edge and enjoy the third deck of the cottage!

Steep gravel driveway. Light vehicles and/or front wheel drive vehicles may struggle. If you have any concerns about your vehicle not making it back out of the driveway, please park on the side of the road by the mailbox.

The road leading to the cottage is a one lane gravel road. If you encounter another car along the way, you will need to pull into the shoulder to get around.
