The beds/pillows/bedding/towels/AC were top-notch! There are a lot of spiders (outside!) in Kentucky-who knew?! And we couldn’t find a place to pull a tube behind a boat, but we enjoyed swimming in Williamstown Lake-not far away. Great kitchen/living room/deck spaces. The laundry was so handy and useful, since we were there so long. Life jackets were provided. Communication with the owners was quick and easy! Highly recommend!"

We welcome you to take walks or a jog (if you happen to be a runner) down our gravel lane, where you can take in views of cattle and calves grazing in the fields, and likely a picture prefect sun rise or sunset. The Lodge has a fully stocked kitchen to enjoy on site cooked meals. The back/side yard easily allows you to enjoy a game of wiffle ball, soccer or other yard games. You may want to spend your evenings around the firepit roasting a hotdog or marshmallows or just relaxing in your lawn chair outdoors in the countryside. Should it be winter, we encourage you travel to KY with 4-wheel drive due to possible snow and icy conditions at times.

The Lodge contains 3 private bedrooms (two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and one room with 2 full beds), as well as 2 sofa pull-out couches that can each sleep 2 and single roll-away bed. The Lodge can comfortably sleep 13, with 2 full bathrooms and onsite washer and dryer. Along with a large open living room and kitchen, and with stocked Coffee/Tea area. The large customize built kitchen island is the focal point of the Lodge and provides a great space for conversation over meals you can prepare on site. You may also choose to soak in our 5 person jet hot tub, open all year around.

This stay provides you a comfortable place to rest while traveling to any of our common attractions, but uniquely this Farm Stay could also be the ‘trip’ you’re looking for, as there is much to experience here on site without ever leaving. You are sure to rest and relax here as other guest have loved the seclusion of The Lodge. The Space:
Our lodge has 7 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, a stocked kitchen, and a rustic living room large enough to seat the whole family!
This home also features keyless entry, WIFI throughout the house, a swimming pool (open late May to Early-September), a fishing lake w/gravel pad, an outdoor fire space, a deck w/propane grill, and a screened in front porch.
Parking is no problem, with a driveway and parking pad large enough for any group size.
The rolling hills, scenic views, and the serene sounds of nature are sure to bring relaxation to all travelers.

If a wheelchair ramp is needed, you can find one located in a marked closet.

There is a large screened in porch, great for reading on a breezy day.
Upon entering the lodge, there is a large sitting area with a piano. Attached is the dining room which connects to the kitchen. There are screen doors to the outdoor pool off the kitchen. Also off the kitchen is a large rustic room with the pool table, TV, and fireplace. Also off the kitchen is the entrance to 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom (1st floor bedrooms).
Upstairs is made up of most bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms.

Guest Access:
Entry is by door code. Guests have access to the entire home.
Access is limited to registered guests only. Any visitors must be approved by the host and may not stay overnight.

The Neighborhood:
Situated in the quaint countryside, your neighbors are the hills and nature! You are conveniently 12 minutes off the Williamstown exit and Ark Encounter parking lot! This home is not only perfect for Ark Encounter guests, but any large group visiting a wedding at The Josephina Event Venue, Creation Museum, Bourbon Trail, Kentucky Horse Park, or any event in Cincinnati! There is a hand book in the listing for local recommendations on brunch, coffee, and dinner!

Getting Around:
Enjoy the rural setting while still having everything you need close at hand. You can find basic supplies about 5 minutes from the home at The Dollar General or local gas station. Less than 15 minutes away you will find a Walmart Supercenter, Starbucks, Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, McDonalds, Wendy's, Arby's, Papa Johns, and Dunkin Donuts as well as locally owned restaurants Beans Café, Kelly's Homestead, Moon Birds, and Belles BBQ.

The space

Our home sleeps 14 people: a master bedroom with a king bed and master bathroom, two sets of bunk beds in one room, another bedroom with a king bed and a fourth bedroom that has two queen beds with a private bathroom. The upstairs living room also has a pull-out couch to accommodate 2 additional guests. My favorite thing to do is sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and enjoy the incredible view.
There are 4 TV's throughout the house, including a 65' in the main living room.

Guest access

All amenities in the entire apartment are available exclusively for the guest/s.
Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of two closets and two kitchen cabinets (labeled).

You will get the opportunity to embrace the "country life" as soon as you turn into the LONG gravel driveway. Once reaching the top of the driveway you can reward yourself by taking a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view!
All rooms are on the main floor, except one room - located down a flight of stairs (This room can be accessed on the side of the house as well).
Fireplace in living room is not in use.
NO PETS or SMOKING allowed the premises.

Winter note: as mentioned above, the driveway is long (approx. 700ft) and part of it is uphill. Corinth receives about 10 inches of snow per year. If you happen to stay when it snows it will be difficult to make it up the driveway if you don't have 4WD. We do not service the driveway, but can help with some rock salt that is located on the property! Please contact us for assistance if needed!

Guests who stay in our Charis Cabin will enjoy a full kitchen for family meals complete with range, oven and microwave. A full size refrigerator with filtered water and a generous sink for washing up after dinner. A sizable island with lots our counter-space for family mealtime. My kitchen is fully stocked. You'll find literally everything you need including glazed cookware, instant pot, crock pot, toaster, blender and more.

The cabin has one full bathroom with tub/shower combo, toilet and vanity sink. We provide towels, washcloths and hand towels to use during your stay. We require all toilet paper to be septic safe and do provide a starter amount under the sink.

In the main room, you'll find a living room space with sofas & coffee table, a large 5 ft island with stools that is great for the grown ups to enjoy a meal and small dining table with benches that is great for the kids.

Our cabin has 2 bedrooms. One side of the cabin has a Master bedroom with 2 queen beds (pack n play is kept under one of these beds). A second bedroom on the other side of the cabin has 2 twin bunks. We provide bedding and linens for guests to use during their stay.

There is a small loft area above the master bedroom. I've filled it with toys for the kids. They will LOVE hanging in the loft and adults will love being able to sit and relax below without the kids being under foot. We keep two camping mats in the lodge for kids who want to "camp out" but guests will need to provide their own sleeping bags for these.

Our cabin has full air conditioning and heat through two mini split units controlled with the remote in each room. The main room has two ceiling fans. You'll find yourself comfortable year round.

Outside, enjoy the 48' covered front porch in the front. The cabin sits about 50 yards off the road that is a loop and the only traffic are local neighbors during their commute. The view from the porch is beautiful and relaxing. Guests can enjoy deer, will turkey and many varieties of birds.

In the back, enjoy a patio with picnic tables and outdoor space for a campfire. We do provide one bundle of firewood with your stay. Extra firewood can be purchased as an add on. Be sure to pack your fire starters and matches or contact us for a camp fire add on that includes extra firewood, fire starters and a lighter for your stay.

You'll find plenty of camping chairs in the deck box to use outside during your stay as well as a few chairs around the fire pit.

WARNING: regional pests include chiggers and ticks as well as mosquitos. Don't forget the bug repellent!

The cabin is attached to 84 total acres of family owned farm. Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire farm including it's hiking trails, stocked fishing lake (contact the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife for local laws and licenses). The Chairs cabin is part of Siloam Valley Retreat Center. We do have tent camping and another cabin on the farm. Some outdoor space could be shared with these guests. However, you'll find the farm is large enough to still enjoy all the seclusion and serenity you'll need during your stay.

PET RULES: For families wanting to bring a pet, we do allow pets for an extra cleaning fee. This is limited to healthy and fully vaccinated dogs under 55 lbs. Pets must be kenneled when guests are not with them. For pet safety we do not provide the kennel. We do expect all potty breaks to be cleaned up quickly and appropriately. We suggest dogs be leashed when outside if they are not obedient to voice commands. We are not responsible for lost pets who get a taste of farm freedom during a stay. Guests assumes all responsibility for items damaged by the pet during their stay.

We are a faith based farm and retreat center. We do ask that guests respect our rules.

A few other things we need you to know:
We do occasionally need to access the shed behind the cabin. It serves as storage for our retreat center. We sometimes we need to mow and do farm maintenance around the cabin and appreciate grace if this needs to happen during your stay. This is a clamping listing. We work hard to keep our cabin clean and comfortable as reflected in our reviews. We can not control the occasional intent inside the cabin.

Nestled in woods yet close to town. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Ark and town are 4 miles away.
The space
The home sets on 10 acres which is 4 miles from Ark, and spacious and equipped for 6 people. We are centrally-located between Lexington, Cincinnati, and Louisville, Ky. Our home offers a warm setting. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, keurig with coffee, with spices for cooking.
We had you in mind with this open floor plan. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a a king size bed with room for a roll away bed and the other with a queen size bed and a very comfortable sleeper sofa in the living away. Each room has large 55 in tvs while the living room has a 60 inch.. There is high-speed wifi and a desk area for work. There is a washer and dryer located in the basement if you would like to pack lightly.
Our porch is amazing! For all you outdoor lovers, there are tons of seating and ample dining area while you eat your grilled food and watch the wildlife. ( tons of deer and other wildlife in the backyard) NO HUNTING of course.

- "This property is quaint and close to the ark encounter. Price beats everything around without actually camping in a tent. There was a miss on having our check-in envelope\key waiting for us but they responded quickly after hours. We did have to clear a few wasps after getting in and we saw a mouse with signs that mice have had access. We just had to make sure we disinfected the counter before doing anything with food There was also some left over food in the freezer from a previous group so I'm not sure how detailed things get looked at after checkout but I did mention it before we left since we weren't taking that with us. There were no checkout instructions but maybe that would have been in the envelope if we'd gotten one. Overall we'd stay here again if we didn't have an infant with us."

This hidden gem is nestled in a small town just minutes from the Ark Encounter. Enjoy porch sitting taking in all that nature has to offer! This one bedroom, one bath, fully stocked kitchen and cozy living room is your home away from home. It sleeps 4, the couch in the living room makes a nice bed. We are located about one mile off interstate 75. Short drive to Cincinnati, Lexington and Louisville where you can find several things to do while visiting. Cincinnati and Louisville both have a zoo. Creation Museum is about 45 minutes to an hour from us. This place is so peaceful and I hope you get a chance to stay with us.
