- "It was everything we needed and more!" - "This house was the perfect place for my family to stay while visiting the ark and creation museums. The creation museum is very close by. The house is in a quiet neighborhood- just as the listing described. All the basic supplies you need are supplied at the house. My 10 year old daughter loves dolls- she was delighted to have a booster seat available for her "baby" to sit at the table with us. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were a big plus for us. There is even an air fryer we were able to use for chicken nuggets. You can tell they have really thought about making your stay easier and more enjoyable. The infomation provided by the owners was all accurate and helpful. While it is not a complaint about the house or the owners, if you are planning to stay here, just know that the library in the neighborhood is closed. Also the little store/restaurant only sells the very most basic supplies. They do sell eggs, which was nice."

Located on our 10-acre mini-farm this spacious cabin (1100 sq feet) was once Mamaw's home. The cabin sleeps 2 private and 4 more semi-private, accommodating 6 people total. Built specifically for Mamaw in a primitive country style, it features a spacious Loft bedroom that sleeps 3, an additional small bedroom that sleeps 1 and a Master Bedroom with Queen- size Sleep Number Bed. The rustic country interior features extensive wood from various trees harvested off of the farm, cedar, poplar, pine and oak. Fully functional kitchen and bath including washer/dryer. A rear deck overlooks woods and pasture and depending on the time of year you may hear our small creek rushing at the bottom of the hill or drop a line off the floating deck of our farm pond. There is also an outdoor fire-pit to enjoy on those cooler nights. Walk our woods, wade our creek, meet our cows or feed our chickens. Enjoy some "Goat Therapy" they are always willing to listen and have an answer for your every question. LOL. Relaxing small farm living is here to enjoy and if the chickens are laying there will be fresh eggs for breakfast too.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a secluded cabin in the woods. It is located on our farm and our home is next door. Please see photos. When guest are here we try to remain invisible around the property. Basically we give the fire pit and surrounding yard over to our guests and you may also fish in our pond so bring your poles. Again our attempt is provide a relaxing country cabin retreat.

Please don't wander too far as we only have 10 acres which sounds like alot but you will soon cross over to neighbors property.

PLEASE NOTE: DURING DEER HUNTING SEASON (END OF OCTOBER THROUGH NOVEMBER) I WOULD ASK YOU TO PLEASE NOT HIKE IN OUR WOODS. MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS ARE HUNTERS (ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKENDS) AND IT WOULD BE UNSAFE TO BE WANDERING ABOUT. Hiking is available at Versailles State Park which is only about 5 miles away.

We are in the country at the end of a dead-end road, but are actually very easy to find. Our road is narrow and hilly so please drive slowly and carefully.

- "Thanks, very nice place" - "Couple of friends and I stayed for a getaway. We used it as a home base of operations to visit Kentucky and Cincy as it was in between. While a little bit in the middle of nowhere, it was perfect to just chill out and relax after the day of travel. Hot tub was wonderful and loved watching the goats. This historic home is located in the small town of Petersburg, Kentucky just five miles from the Creation Museum. It is a great place to enjoy the great outdoors with a large yard and a very nice patio and front porch.
This house features spacious rooms great for families and entertaining. The living room and three of the bedrooms have a flat screen television and a DVD player with Netflix available. There is also free wifi and a kitchen with all of the amenities from home. This is a perfect house for a great getaway!

This home is provided with ample space for 14 guests, plenty of parking. Has a lovely Allseason room. Plenty of room for everyone to socialize. There are 4 bedrooms on second floor and the house has 3 1/2 bath.

We sat outside and had a fire in the evening. We sat on the front porch in the shade during the day. We visited The Creation Museum one day and The Ark Encounter the next. This home is a large open space perfect for entertaining and communing. It is just outside of the little historic river hamlet of Rabbit Hash. The house was built by Ed Unterreiner, the same builder that rebuilt the Rabbit Hash General Store after the devastating fire of 2016. The modern rustic house is full of salvaged materials and building gems. It is really a must see.

Rabbit Hash is conveniently located 20 minutes from I-75, 20 minutes to the Creation Museum, 30 minutes from the ark and just a 5 minute ferry ride across the Ohio River from Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana.

It has a fully equipt kitchen, sleeping accommodations for 4 people comfortably. There is only one bathroom on the first floor with a shower and there is an outdoor shower for summer use only. The driveway is shared but the orientation of the house offers much privacy with alarge covered porch facing in the opposite direction.

The cabin is nice and functional. The kitchen had all the items we needed for our brief saty. There is a store a few minutes down the road that had just recently opened for business and has a few items in there but the selection was lacking (they look to be adding more items though!). This home is spacious and comfortable for a group of 6 or a weekend getaway for just the 2 of you. Nice back back deck and patio overlooking into the woods. Great for smores or just hanging with friends around the fire. Aurora is a quaint little town with lots of hometown shops & also has lots of food and entertainment as well- only a 3-5 minute drive to town. Lawrenceburg is about 5 minutes down the road- where skiing- boating- Casinos & bars. Lots for kids as well.

Maple Lawn is a sparking clean and tastefully decorated two bed and one bath home. It is secluded and has a beautiful lawn and play set for your children, and a porch for your de-stressing needs. We can ensure your stay will be a relaxing one. Our rental is forty minutes from Cincinnati and twenty minutes from Perfect North ski resort.

We have a kitchen equipped for basic cooking and baking, and a spacious dining and living area. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bedroom with a full size bed, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room that provides one more bed. One full bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a spacious porch round out the cottage.

This brand-new, downtown river retreat is only steps away from great shops and restaurants, the Hollywood Casino and the Lawrenceburg Event Center. This private, two bedroom/1 bathroom unit is the perfect home away from home and sleeps 6. 2 bedrooms are identical in setup, including queen sized beds, luggage racks and a space to hang clothes. There is a pull out couch in the living room with linens. Outside of the unit is a nice sitting area with a table for four with an umbrella. Across the street is a green space/dog area with bags and garbage cans for dog waste.
For your winter getaway, we are only 4 miles from Perfect North Slopes. For warmer weather trips, bring your bike or rent one near the Event Center. Lawrenceburg has a beautiful bike /walking path that guides you along the Ohio river in to historic Aurora, Indiana. The river views from the levy are breathtaking and a perfect place to relax and slow down a bit.
Summertime is buzzing at our Civic Park with Tuesday night movies, Thursday night live music, Yoga and the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. You are also near the Creation Museum, CVG airport and downtown Cincinnati. Wintertime is a winter wonderland with warming igloos and an abundance of white lights, lighted arches and reindeer.
Food options are plentiful ranging from Italian, brick oven pizza, American fare, sports bars, markets and coffee shops, all within walking distance.
To note, this unit has steps and is not handicap accessible. There is moderate street noise and the occasional train can be heard traveling through town. There are fans in each room that help to lessen those noises. Free public parking in Ivy Tech garage behind property.

Relax in this spacious home, 3 BR, 3 baths, hot tub, screened in porch, wrap around front porch, walk to Shawnee Park, which is in our backyard, only 15 minutes to Miami Whitewater State Park, Kayaking, Hollywood Casino, 5 miles to Perfect North Slopes and 20 minutes to downtown Cincinnati and CVG, 40 minutes to Kings Island and 20 minutes to the Cincinnati Zoo. With 2 acres of space and beauty you can have fun around the city but relax in the evenings with the sound of nature. The house is open and has plenty of room for large family gatherings. Large dining room and eat in kitchen seating for 10, plus outdoor table with 6 chairs. Open floor plan kitchen with large bar area and 4 stools. Livingroom with large flat screen TV, and extra wide hallways for easy access. Back porch has, flat screen TV, glass heater and fire pit table.
Bedrooms- master with on suite, King size Bed, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, workout equipment and amazing natural light with walk out to porch. Second bedroom, queen bed, flat screen tv and ceiling fan, desk, computer monitor and printer, third bedroom, Twin bunk bed with trundle bed, pack and play, rocking chair, flat screen TV. The third bedroom also has many needed kid items, bouncy seat, toys, books, side rails for the bed, baby walker, seat with tray for table. You can also fit a queen size air mattress that is available. This is a pet friendly home, however we do ask for a $100 security deposit and you need to reachout to us with pet details like hose trained, stays off furniture and doesn’t bite, etc. This is our primary residence so we take good care of it, we love to host and invite guests in so we hope you will take good care of our home while you are here. Our home is only 10 minutes to Kroger, restaurants, live music and great food a The Carriage house and about 20 minutes to hospitals. Our kitchen will have everything you need to prepare meals including a convection oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and the basics for kitchen needs. I will also have coffee filters, tea bags, honey, salt, pepper, basic condiments like mayo, mustard, ketchup and butter for your convenience, if you need anything special, please let me know I will leave it out for your stay!
Our neighborhood is amazing, and we love our neighbors, please observe quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. All towels and linens are provided, a washer and dryer are available should you need to wash them during your stay, ample towels will be provided.

Need a ride downtown? Please let us know in advance and we may be able to provide that for you, additionally if you want to add a continental breakfast, I can prepare that for your stay at an additional charge. ***owner occupied, Please note there is an apartment in the basement and it may be rented or used by owners during your stay, entrance for each is separate.
