Quaint and comfortable mid-century Sears kit home (equipped with a spa) in a woodsy setting atop a hill near Mt. Airy forest on the outskirts of Northside with quick easy access to I-74/75 — 10 minute (or less) drive to almost anywhere in Cincinnati including downtown, OTR, Cincinnati Zoo, University of Cincinnati, Newport Aquarium, Northern Kentucky etc.

Guests will have access to the entire home and expansive outdoor spaces, only excluding the basement and a couple locked closets.
Other things to note
To access the driveway up to the house stay right at the fork at the bottom of the hill and drive ALL THE WAY to the top. There is only space at the top for 3 vehicles max and please use caution because it can be a bit shifty to the inexperienced. Parking will only be available at the very top of the driveway. Please do not use the neighbors parking area below the house.

2. Please park respectfully. This is a hypersensitive issue on the hill. At NO POINT is it acceptable to block Todd avenue and /or limit the neighbors' ability to access West Fork road. Park only in the top concrete area with a maximum of 3 cars. All other vehicles must park down on West Fork road.

3. No parties or events/excessive noise after midnight

4. No pets, hosts are highly allergic. This includes service animals.

5. No smoking

6. Before check out, please clean any used dishes, remove all food from fridge. and take trash to outside garbage cans. They are strapped down with the provided bungee chord (already on trash can). Garbage cans are located alongside the upper driveway, creekside.

6. Please place any used towels in the tub. There is no need to make the beds before departure.

Failure to comply with house rules may result in termination of reservation.

The space
When you first pull into the street you already will feel right at home in the quiet and quaint neighborhood. This well-maintained ranch home literally has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Our upstairs has no stairs or steps to navigate besides the couple you have to climb to enter the home. You'll find a large living room with sectional (plus a ceiling fan and TV), a kitchen with plenty of room to spread out, that includes a desk and an island, plus you'll also be able to spread out in the dining area. Two bedrooms are upstairs - the king master and a double bedroom. The king has tons of great storage, plus a master bath with a walk-in shower, jacuzzi tub, and laundry room attached. The guest bathroom is a shower/tub combination.

There is a standard set of stairs in order to reach the basement, which is where our shuffleboard, and theater TV are located. Relax in this open space on the huge sectional! When it is time to go to bed, we have two options down here - a double bedroom and/or a twin bedroom with two beds.

If the weather is nice, we invite you to hang outside on our back deck. We have a large, fenced-in yard, comfortable seating, a TV, grill, and a hot tub! Our koi pond is something special to us, so we ask that you please don't disturb or feed them.

Beautifully furnished and renovated large 2 bedroom 1 bath unit in the heart of Westwood. Downtown Cincinnati is 10-15 mins away. Westwood boasts a new brewery and winery, which is a short 7 minute walk away. The apartment is on a cul-de-sac street with many long time homeowners and tenants. Westwood, and the street the apartment is on, is a safe, established, and diverse area of Cincinnati.

PLEASE READ: Renovation of unit completed in January 2020. The unit is on the first floor of the building. Fully furnished and awaiting you for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The apartment has key-less entry to both the building and unit for your convenience; no need to worry about keys. There are 3 beds total; 2 queen beds, and 1 queen air mattress (upon request) for a fee. We love our furry friends; however, we do charge monthly for pets. Sometimes street parking is limited directly in front of the apartment but you can always park on Montclair or Urweiler street and walk if needed. We are now offering garage parking for an extra charge, depending on length of stay.

I know it is easy to ignore this section but I advise that you don’t so that both the guest (you) and the host are on the same page, which eliminates confusion and issues with the booking.

Please remove shoes inside the unit, this helps keep the area rugs clean.

Please respect the unit and treat it better than you would your own living space. If you break something, please be honest so we can ensure the item is replaced before the next booking.

Parking: as much as I try to ask people not to park in front of the building if they don’t live there, it is a public street and have no control of it. Please use Montclair or Urweiler streets and walk to the building if necessary. Do not park in the driveway or garage unless you’ve been given prior authorization via communication with the owner.

Trash: you are responsible for taking out the trash when it is full. Garbage should be placed in a liner. Use garbage can #2 in the back of the property. You are responsible for the can getting to the curb on trash night (Wednesday night) and putting it back when it has been emptied on Thursday.

Kitchen: there is no garbage disposal so please don’t put items down the sink that should go in the regular garbage. Please don't put grease or oil down the drain.

Bathroom: please don’t flush sanitary objects, wet, or ‘disposable wipes’ down the toilet. It can clog the pipes so we ask you avoid that. Please use the small trash can for those items. Also, to enable the bathroom to ventilate well, please open the window after you shower when possible.

Smoking: No smoking of any kind in the unit or on the balcony, or within 50 ft of the building.

- "I booked on really short notice, and communication with Megan was awesome! She was able to turn around booking very quickly which alleviated some of the stress about this trip right away. Check in was by the book, and everything in order right off the start. I was in Westwood for about a month and a half, and the whole time communication was great, Megan was super responsive to any and all questions. The unit was as described, really clean and actually bigger than I expected. Amenities were on point, working size kitchen replete with pots, pans, plates, drinkware & utensils. Drip coffee machine (with filters too). Plenty of closet space if your considering a longer stay - though there is shared washer & dryer available (and new!) Location: The neighborhood is nice, mix of big older homes for those who like to house gaze while walking. I enjoyed my daily walks. Amenities: There are a host of local establishments nearby. Coffee house, tap room, Pub/restaurant with outdoor seating, BBQ (really good brisket) and a well rated restaurant all within a 10 minute walk. Other amenities include a barber shop (thanks Tay Blendz) and a little longer of a walk but one of Great Parks newest additions. Pets: For those with dogs, there are two dog parks & a groomer also within walking distance. Driving: Easy access to all major routes (71,75 etc) about 1/2 hour to downtown & close to most hospitals for you nurses. Can't thank Megan enough for a great place to call home for a bit."

The outside of the house could use fresh paint, but the inside of the apartment was bright, immaculate and roomy. Cute and clean decor, lots of light in this 1917 home. We only used the large bedroom, which had a large closet and comfy bed. The bathroom is tiny, but there was a handy little caddy with 3 shelves for all of our things. The kitchen was large and had a keurig for coffee. Owner Michelle was great, very responsive. "

We had the people downstairs come in in the middle of our overall stay and they were extremely loud. The noise echoes throughout the whole house through the vents. Westwood is very walkable with sidewalks located on each street; you can take a stroll to Mt. Airy Forest at the bottom of the street or grab a bite to eat or coffee at one of the local eateries.
