UNAVAILABLE DECEMBER 1, 2024 to END of JANUARY 2025 are the two additional bedrooms (one king one queen beds and a ¾ bath) are located in the detached garage, just steps away from the main house for a more privacy for the kids or a second family. Due to the kings tide and flooding each of the last two winters, we've deemed it necessary to shut these rooms down as we are out of area during this time and won't be able to monitor the status of the detached rooms

Enjoy walking up and down the beach, turning over rocks and looking for crabs, two single person kayaks and bicycles as well as a number of day trip activities. Birch Bay, Lynden and Ferndale are all in close proximity for a day trip if you are looking to get out of the house. There are also many farms that you can go to and buy fresh produce, fruit, artisan cheese and fish. Don’t forget your passport as the Canadian Border is also just a short trip away.

This is the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend away from the city.

Our best effort is made to sanitize high touch areas including kitchen, bathrooms and fixtures which are disinfected against the spread of Covid 19 during cleaning. We enjoyed the notes of history in the decor. But the high point was feeding the chickens, ducks, and geese, and learning so much about birds and their eggs from the friendly, gracious owners. We made fabulous omelets from bright yellow-yolked chicken and goose eggs, and loved learning about the different types of birds and their names and characters. What a peaceful setting, with freedom to walk around and observe life of the farm. No wonder so many reviews mention how kids love it, but we adults did, too. It was a great stay."

Our custom designed, oceanfront, two story, open concept home was built for entertaining. It is located at Sandy Point Shores. The panoramic ocean views, overlooking the San Juan Islands, are amazing as soon as you enter the front door. The grand entry, great room, kitchen, dining room and den offer these spectacular views on the main floor. The gourmet kitchen boasts a 48” gas range, farmhouse sink, island with bar sink, walk in butlers pantry and adjoining dining room. The dining room seats 10 people, the island seats 2 people. The master bedroom has its own private balcony, fireplace, tv, sitting area with vaulted ceilings. The Master shower has a large custom shower, deep soaker tub, double sinks, separate make up vanity and water closet. The great room shares a double fireplace with the study/tv room. The study/ tv room has a desk/chair with French doors for privacy. Every bedroom has a view, the back of the house overlooks Mount Baker and a man-made lake. The master and king guest rooms have ocean views. All the bedrooms have room darkening blinds. Three bedroom are located on the upper floor, the master hosts a king bed. There are two guest rooms one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower. The main floor bedroom hosts a double bed and a set of bunks. The main floor bathroom can be locked out to this bedroom. This is a full bathroom with shower only(no tub). Front-load washer and dryer in separate laundry room. The street side deck has morning sun, shaded in the afternoon and evening. The ocean side deck receives afternoon and evening sun, shaded in the mornings. The upper, private master deck gets afternoon and evening sun. We provide all linens, extra towels, beach towels and blankets, Gilchrist and Soames bath amenities and personal amenities you might have forgotten. Coffee, tea, water bottles are provided for your arrival, as well as basic kitchen pantry items will be stocked. If you wish to order your groceries ahead we can make arrangements to have them picked and placed in the home ahead of your arrival time. There are five adult bikes and helmets for our guests to enjoy. We hope your family and friends enjoy the rejuvenation we get from this home. - "The entire house was so full of light and so welcoming. The open layout made it so easy to stay engaged with one another when cooking, reading, watching, TV, or just relaxing on the deck area. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Kayaks were provided and as a bonus, I was able to see seals while out on the kayak! - "My teenage kids haven't ever stayed on a farm before this trip. It was a real treat for us. The farm animals are friendly and entertaining. If you have mobility issues plan to sleep on the sofa bed on the first level. The pullout sofa is comfy and the additional bedding is truly cozy." - "It’s worth coming here for the plethora of birds. The studio is a standalone building on a lovely farm shared by the birds and a couple other housing units. It’s a great size for one or maybe two people. The kitchen/bathroom/laundry are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs, Internet speed is 4g, so you can check email and read the news, but wouldn’t count on being able to take a zoom meeting. There is cell service though. My only complaint is that the bed is aggressively uncomfortable- I think it’s actually just a box spring. Easy fix for the hosts though. Other than that I’d definitely recommend for a peaceful country stay."

I had partial views of both the sunrise and sunset from those windows. And a patio to myself, overlooking the golf course and their rose garden. The host was very helpful when I had a small wifi hiccup. Very pleased with both the property and the host. This custom-built dual lofted tiny has been completely hand-crafted with high-end finishes from the inside out! Built on a 2015 Licensed Iron Eagle trailer, this 26 foot x 13 feet tall 282 square foot tiny with 10 foot ceilings in the living area is very spacious! With two separate sleeping areas, the upstairs main bedroom loft has a brand-new high-end queen mattress, there is a secondary sleeping area in the living room on a pull-out twin sleeper loveseat. The bathroom comes equipped with a full-size spacious shower, a vanity with lots of counter space, a Frameless LED lighted anti-fog bathroom mirror, a standard flushing toilet, and basic toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to make yourself at home including brand new quartz countertops, a 2-burner electric stove, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, tea & coffee. There is a stool under the built-in dining space which doubles as a workstation to eat or work at while enjoying farm life or a view of unobstructed sunsets. The living room has a loveseat that doubles as a twin bed with bedding available. This tiny has a ton of customized additional storage that abounds. On warmer summer days there is an air conditioner mini split that keeps the tiny house cool and comfortable or in the winter months warm and cozy. All of the windows have black-out shades that can be closed for privacy or opened as you like. There is also a skylight in the master bedroom that can open for additional airflow. Fast Wi-Fi is also provided. Our central location is equally positioned between Bellingham, Ferndale, & Lynden so you can easily get where you want to go!

There are beautiful views of Mount Baker right out your window. This is an open concept, one bedroom, one bathroom, almost 700sq ft apartment. It has a full kitchen with brand new appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The host provides basic cooking supplies to get you started, including olive oil and an array of herbs and spices. An assortment of tea and coffee are also provided. There's a dining room table that seats 4. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a walk-in closet. The living room has a sectional sofa that converts to a double bed with a memory foam mattress topper. There is a Roku TV that includes Youtube TV and Netflix. There is high speed internet. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There are towels and washcloths, shampoo/conditioner and soap.
