Two other beaches that I highly recommend are West Beach which is accessed off of Lervick Avenue (small parking area on left). This beach is wonderful for sunsets. Great beach for a stroll up and around Clark point at the tip of the island.Also don't forget to try some of beautiful hiking trails including one to the top of Guemes Island Mountain.

The apartment is on the second floor of a large barn-house. It features a bright and airy open floor plan with two bedrooms and a full bath. Access is through the entry and staircase off the carport on the ground level, but there is no access to the large garage space below.

There is a large deck with a spectacular view facing west, which looks out across several miles of open fields and farmlands and Mt. Erie. It is especially great for wildlife viewing and sunsets. There are several acres for outdoor play, as well as a large fully fenced backyard with a pond which is accessible from the back deck. There is covered parking for one vehicle, as well as uncovered parking for several more.

We welcome well-behaved dogs, but we do ask the following:
-tell us about your dog(s) at time of booking
-please pick up after your dog
-dogs must be in a crate if left unattended in the house

You will need to maneuver stairs to enjoy the beach and upstairs private ensuite, but the view is breathtaking on the covered porch which requires NO STAIR USE. All hardwoods throughout.

Bedroom layout: Main level has a private queen bedroom and off the back of the house is a room that is semi private with a privacy curtain and fits a king bed. You enter this back room to access the stairs to the private master ensuite. The upstairs suite is private with a barn style door. The back bedroom and primary suite is excellent for families with children or another couple. Couch can be used to sleep 1-2 people but does not turn into a bed. We have extra bedding if needed.

Wonderful beach feel cottage. You'll be wishing you had more time to sit back and relax, to take in the sounds of the lapping water or sitting back to watch the heron, eagles, osprey, migratory winter birds, seagulls, seals and other wildlife that call this bay home.
