Once reminded of this they gave us second room but room was not ready - bed needed to be made up and towels etc placed in room. Detached from stone-built Villa 'Homer', living area 260 m2, several terraces with superb sea views from all rooms! 200 meters from the sea. A private pool with plenty of loungers. The pool is only accessible to your company and offers enough privacy.

There are 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, beds are comfortable and clean. It is a light and bright home.
Autumm 2019; the entire villa is painted inside also all the gates outside. And there is a new handycraft stone built BBQ!!
The garden is large about 1000 m2, surrounded by wall and fence. There are 4 terraces, there is a place for everyone. There is also a hammock. More than enough room for 10 people, from 6 people we ask for a small additional fee. Lots of privacy.
There is an air conditioner in the kitchen and living room and sleep on the floor. The bedrooms-all with sea views are cool, so you hardly need the air conditioning. Each bedroom has a controlled ceiling fan.
WIFI; there is a permanent wireless Internet. You will find the WiFi code on the switch box in the alley. The house is child safe, you -Reads the reviews-.
Children; the stairs are secured by a gate. The balcony railings are made so that it can be no climbing frames. Have a look at the video, (sorry for the music, I can not access the video anymore)
There is plenty of furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, we love cooking. For everyone there are two linen and towels. Beach towels even you must carry.

The house is in perfect condition with 1st class finish with elegant detail, the villa is built in-house. Located on the outskirts of the fishing village Yenifoça Bay.

Bedrooms;
Bed linen, duvets -dik, medium and thin, towels and linens are provided. Beach and / or bath towel please bring your own.
The bedrooms all have sea views. The beds are large -90 x 200-, as well as the bedrooms, so you can place the berths. Each room has two chairs, bedside table and reading lamp. Above the bed is a ceiling fan, which are very quiet. All windows are double-glazed and fitted with a fly screen and an insulated cover. The solid wood doors are lockable. All rooms have spacious closets with hanging and leg area.
The house is not in a park, The garden is enclosed and lockable for children.

Caretaker Susanna and her husband Adem will speak Turkish and English. There is a red folder in the living room with all the necessary information in case of emergency !!

To Travel;
You fly to Izmir Airport 'Adnan Menderes'
Touch the app Skyscanner. Sunexpress immediately flies to IZMIR. Lufthansa is via Munich. With both, you can fly cheap and fast. The change in Munich is easy and takes little time. You only need 1 hour before departure to be present.
Departure from the Netherlands from Amsterdam or Dusseldorf.

Accessibility is good throughout the year. From the airport, it is more than 1 hour away. See below for transport.

The villa is within walking distance of the sea, village, shops or markets.

Shopping;
Izmir is an hour. Knows very fashionable shop malls, but also a Pazar in old town. The promenade has upscale restaurants and terraces. Near the center has a large parking garage. You can also take the ferry, you are driving in the busy city. Follow signs FERRY BOAT on bypass.

Or outlet shopping mall on the highway at the exit of Foça.

Markets; On Wednesday in Yenifoça, on Tuesday in Eski Foca, on Sunday in Kozbeyli

Breakfast tip; Sunday brunch at Kozbeyli at Şakir place, also best coffee in Turkey. Or Sofrası. In Turkey one loves breakfast outside the door!

Food and beverage;

In the village there are several ATMs. You can pay with credit card or pins.

Supermarkets;
In the village, also in walking distance, you will find a good supermarket Migros. Fish you buy at auction. At 4 minutes at the road side, there is a small supermarket, it has a lot of choices, also bread.

The Internet;
Since 2018 we have access to a permanent internet. Access by WiFi.

Car rental, taxi / pickup with connecting bus or subway.

Route; it is not hard on your own ride to our house. You can get a detailed route description. Time full hour to Uruç Reis Caddesi 26 in Yenifoça.

- Public transport; the Metro / light rail from the airport has an excellent connection. With the Metro / light rail drive very comfortable from the airport direction: ALIAGA. The tickets are electronic and are called KENT KART. In 1h15 drive to stop 'BIÇEROVA. In the metro hangs a clear display with the next stops. The bus to Yenifoça awaits you. The perons have an elevator. At bus stop "Gazi Mustafa Kemal" step off the door !! Cost no more than € 3 p. p. Buy a ticket for public transportation; just ask the owner. In the village you can rent a car on your own.

Day trip to Izmir; take the bus 745 to Metro stop Bicerova and there the metro to Karsyaka, there take the ferry boat, cozy, at Konak pear. Totally top !!

Western Turkey on the Aegean is a pleasant and liberal population. It is welcoming and friendly.
Yenifoça is an authentic fishing village and surrounding villages. The markets are a high point of the week and every village has its own market day. On Sunday we are happy to have breakfast in Kozbeyli.

Children;
It is a safe place for the kids, big and small. The garden is lockable. The beach is a 5 minutes walk. The sea is safe and pleasant and has no currents. Tip: do water shoes for the sea urchins. Snorkel and goggles or all sizes are available.
The young people can safely walk on their own to the village. Internet cafes in the village or ask the WiFi code at the terrace. A youth lounge café in the summer months. Night market in the summer months. 10 minutes drive a real disco with good dance music on Saturday, Mambo Beach. This is a daytime groomed beach with terrace and good service to your sun bed, entrance a TL10 TL15. The teenagers will love the beach there at daytime's too.

Groceries.
The 'early birds' walk to the village to get bread. ACMA (pronounced; atsjma) and simit are sort baigel. ACMA is softer. In Kozbeyli one has natural bread. There is Yenifoça a Spar supermarket-like 'Tansas' with a good and decent butcher. It is clean with a navy department. You can pay by debit card. The village has an ATM. You will get fresh daily. You can eat out on the harbor or in the village. Not expensive!

At night while walking along the harbor for an ice cream or drink. A glass or raki (pronounced; rakku) is delightfully fresh.

- "We (10 people, 4 kids) had a lovely time in the house. The communication with the owners Marita and Carl was really smooth from the start. The on-site support by Tristian, who is fluent in English and Turkish, was also great. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. We used the kitchen a lot and didn't miss a thing (you might want to bring a filter coffee machine for bigger groups though). Rooms are clean an very nice. I personally found the mattress in my bed a bit too soft, but I had much worse before and I guess it's a case of personal preferences. The garden and pool are the highlight of the house. There's a nice big table to sit together in the evening, you can have barbecue and the garden offers some nice shadowy spots to escape the sun and read a book. Pool was amazing for the kids (nice water quality due to salt water electrolysis). Getting to the beach and promenade can be a bit tricky at frist. It's actually not far (10 min max by foot), but if you take a wrong turn, you might end up in a dead-end street. It's best to follow the wall of the cemetery (or go straight trough it). But you'll get the hang of it after 2 days or so. The city center and promenade are lovely with some nice restaurants, bars, live music in the evenings and a really wonderful bazar (Sevgi Pazarı - near Nemrut Bay Otel). The beach is okay, but not that great. It's better to go to Hanedan beach or Voodoo beach club (Mersinaki Koyu), which takes about 20-25 minutes by car. The beach spots closer to Yenifoca are also nice, but with a lot of rocks in the water, so not ideal for kids."

The town is peaceful, big part of the old fortress has been restored, at the end of the city there are several interesting sanctuaries of Cybele (just do not disturb the military base nearby!). The Sirien Pension is in a very good location, close to the coastal street, and to the car parking places. Breakfast is served on a lovely rooftop terrace looking out over the shrines to protect against the continual sea wind. Our rooms were beside it and were very comfortable. The only note is the weaker WiFi signal on the upper floors. This pansion is the best price-quality ratio in Foca."
