If you are traveling with children, this is a wonderful place for them to run and play while you relax and keep watch from the deck or the comfortable Adirondack chairs on the patio. The backyard features a lifetime play set and a built in fire pit.

This property features 3 living areas, a fireplace, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. As you wait for dinner, sit back and relax on the full grain leather recliner couch and enjoy the 55 inch smart flatscreen TV. The newly installed central A/C will keep you cool when you return from a hot day hiking or playing at the beach.

When you're ready for bed, retreat to the master bedroom and climb into the king sized bed to fall fast asleep with plush pillows. This room features deck access, an en-suite bathroom and a 43 inch tv with Roku. You will feel like you are at a spa with a jetted tub, double vanities and separate shower with double shower heads. This room also features a relaxing sitting area. The master closet was so big we converted it to a bedroom! You have to walk through it to get to the master bath, but it makes a great “family wing” in the home. It has two twin beds (bunk) and a crib with an extra toddler sized floor mattress. There is also an extra pack n' play available for use. This room also has some toys for small children and children’s books for nightly story time.

There are three other bedrooms with KING size beds that are beautifully styled and extremely functional. Each located close to one of the three bathrooms in the house. Keep towels, linens, and swimsuits clean throughout your stay with the washer and dryer located just off of the kitchen in the spacious pantry. The pantry is stocked with board games and puzzles for hours of fun.

There is a bunk room downstairs with 3 sets of bunks(sleeps 6) just off of the garage/play room where your group can enjoy games of air hockey, ping pong, fooseball or mini basketball game.

Each living area can accommodate 2-3 people for sleeping with pull out couches and/or floor mattresses.

There is an extra fridge/freezer in the garage for your use

The Neighborhood:

Located just 1.5 miles from the closest public beach and about 10 minutes from Rendezvous beach.

The hiker/snowmobiler/ATVer will love the close proximity to the Hodges Canyon Trailhead. No need to even get in your car. You can hike/snowmobile/ATV right from the house. The road to the Hodges Canyon trailhead is just a few hundred yards from the driveway. The city has also recently opened up the trailhead parking lot for overnight overflow parking for our neighborhood!

The golfers of the group will be pleased with the short 6 minute drive to Bear Lake golf course, which is only 1 out of the 3 golf courses in the area. Book a tee time and show off your putting skills to your family and friends.

Hit the slopes at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort which is a short 24 minute drive away, or if your new to winter sports check out the local tubing spots for some family shenanigans! Also enjoy the Beaver Mountain music festival in mid August for a taste of the local music scene.

This log cabin has 6 bedrooms, 2 large lofts (kids love the upper loft), and a game room in the basement. Completely remodeled in July 2013, including all new high-end finishes (granite counter tops, travertine flooring, all new stainless appliances, extra plush carpet, etc).

One of the best parts about our cabin is that it includes access to Ideal Beach, which has swimming pools, tennis & basketball courts, & tons of huge open grassy areas. If you know Bear Lake, you know that Ideal Beach is where everybody wants to be. Perfect for large family reunions!

The stairs are not safe for children or the elderly." - "Lots of room inside! Loved the Ideal Beach passes. Bear Lake is beautiful. The kids loved the ping pong table and X-box. The view from the deck was wonderful. The kitchen set up was roomy and lots of room for lots of people to eat. The front stairs were steep with no railing but there is a ramp up on to the back deck that makes it easy to get inside. The grill was dirty so I suggest bringing your own camp chef or grill to cook on outside. Overall it was a perfect spot for a multi-generational family event! The host was easy to communicate with and friendly."

This home was built with the comfort of guests in mind. Spacious windows overlook Bear Lake so guests can enjoy the Caribbean of the Rockies from the living room or deck. The upstairs gathering space includes comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a smart TV. The kitchen includes a small pantry, plenty of counter space, and every supply a guest might need to prepare and serve meals. In addition to the large dining table, there is seating on the deck to enjoy meals and classic Bear Lake raspberry shakes after a long day well-spent at the beach.

The master suite is spacious, luxurious and functional with a king bed, comfortable furniture (including a sofa bed) and smart TV. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub and a walk-in closet. One more bedroom with a king bed is located on this floor (also with a smart TV). A full bathroom is in-between the master and the other bedroom.

Downstairs
Plenty of space to relax, watch movies, or play board games on the large game table. Directly outside the basement doors there is a private hot tub which can be enjoyed during any season.

The last bedroom in the home is a bunk room with two twin bunk beds (each with a twin trundle bed underneath). If your group has a few extra guests, there are a couple of roll-out beds to accommodate them! A pack-and-play is available.

In addition to plentiful outdoor seating, guests are welcome to use the propane and/or Blackstone grills. The kids will love the twisty slide that is attached to the deck! The living room has large windows spanning the east side of the home to ensure constant lake views. Plenty of parking space for everyone's vehicles, trailers, ATVs, etc in the pull-through driveway. Feel free to store a boat or park in the garage for additional peace of mind. The garage is tall enough for a boat tower. The owners of this home are happy to share their kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs and toys with guests! No camping, including RV camping, allowed in this HOA.

For winter guests: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended in the winter. This driveway and surrounding roads will be plowed after a snow storm but driving conditions can be unpredictable so guests are encouraged to drive with caution.

- "We had a great time. The house was just the right size for our group of 10 adults and 4 children and 1 infant. The location was great and we had so much fun at the private beach." - "We enjoyed our stay at this location!! Pros: the kitchen has everything we needed, 7 bedrooms allowed our group of 16 plenty of room, access to Ideal Beach with all of its amenities (pool, grass, playground, beach…) was amazing. The deck is huge and its furniture is the most comfortable on the property. Finally, the hot tub was loved by all of the grandkids! Cons: the indoor seating was not comfortable. There were 2 couches upstairs and 1 downstairs and none of them were comfortable. After a long day on the lake it would have been great to have somewhere comfortable to sit. The other problem we saw was that the bathrooms had either no rugs, or rugs that did not have any ability to absorb water after coming out of the shower or bath. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would consider staying there again if some new couches were purchased. We will definitely look for properties that allow Ideal Beach access."

- "Perfect spot for our family coming from three different states for 5 days together. We rented four log cabins altogether (grandparents, adult children and siblings). We stayed in Cabin 8 with our two adult children and two pups. Nice size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, large table, well supplied with pans for stove, plates, dishes, silverware, two queen beds and twin bunk bed. Nice size TV. However, bunk bed was wobbly so decided not to use upper bunk. Bathroom was nice size and included shower/tub, sink, toilet, lots of fluffy white bath towels. Did need more washclothes, handtowels and trash bags but hosts were very accommodating and provided. The covered porch had two chairs for use with one being a log rocking chair. We boated two days, rented side by side vehicles for trail riding another day and another day group split with one hiking with pups and another visited ice cave. Had a wonderful time. Thank you."

Main Level
The kitchen includes everything you will need to prepare and serve meals, a counter with bar stools, and a round dining table. You will find several kitchen appliances available including a Keurig Coffee maker (a limited amount K-pods are provided).

Connected to the kitchen/dining area is a living room so everyone can hang out together. This room has large vaulted ceilings, a TV, and an electric fireplace to enjoy. The deck is adjacent to the living room and offers a beautiful view of the Bear Lake Valley.

During the warmer months, the large deck is the perfect place to finish eating your raspberry shake after spending the day in the sun. There is a picnic table, BBQ grill and additional seating outside for guests to spread out. The living room has large windows all around to invite the sunshine and gorgeous turquoise lake color in.

Each bedroom was designed with guests in mind; the rooms are spacious to accommodate luggage, portable cribs, and to avoid feeling crammed. Each room has new furniture that is very comfortable. The two private bedrooms in the home are conveniently located on the main level. The first bedroom has a king bed with a smart TV and a full en-suite bathroom. This bathroom also connects to the hallway for other guests to access easily. There is a fully functioning washer and dryer in this bathroom. The next bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom and a large closet. A queen bed is located in this room. A pack-and-play is available.

Upstairs
A short walk up the carpeted stairs is a fun and spacious loft with four built-in snug beds. There is also a TV, futon, bean bag and coffee table to enjoy games with your friends or family. The futon in the loft folds down for an extra place to sleep. After an eventful day at the beach, send the kids upstairs to play and relax on the deck with a Bear Lake raspberry shake!

The Property
Trees surround the entire home so there is plenty of shade and privacy. It is not uncommon to have deer or moose visit the yard! Don`t miss out on the new private hot tub that overlooks the lake! It is located just a few steps from the deck. A paddleboard is available at the home for guest enjoyment.

Plenty of parking space for everyone`s vehicles, trailers, ATVs, etc in the pull-through driveway. For winter guests: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended in the winter. This driveway and surrounding roads will be plowed after a snow storm but driving conditions can be unpredictable so guests are encouraged to drive with caution. No camping, including RV camping, allowed in this HOA.

- "The cabin was very cozy and clean. Loved the location, very close to most restaurants/beach/marina and the Caribbean Custard & Italian Ice onsite was an added bonus which we enjoyed each night. It was nice to have a fire pit onsite as well. Only criticism would be that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty and required multiple reboots to get it to work. It would also be nice to have some basic toiletries and hair dryer included. Otherwise, everything else was perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed our stay."

Kick back and relax in this stylish 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Bear lake cottage- Located just minutes from Bear Lake, and the heart of Garden City, with quick access to Pickleville Playhouse, & paved bike trails. It's 4 miles South of Bear Lake Marina, 2 miles North of Epic Marina. Rendezvous Beach State park is just a 10 minute drive (south).

Great location with easy access to the marina and the busy part of town, but just far enough off the busy main street to feel quiet. We loved being able to park our wakeboard boat and two cars right next to the cottage. The kitchen is well stocked. The cottage is a little snug for five adults: there are double bunks, but a double bed is tight for two adults. We ended up using the sleeper couch, which was massively uncomfortable, but what sleeper couch is not? The water heater also is small for five adults and the towels are a little threadbare. We thought the Ideal Beach resort pass was well worth the extra fee and enjoyed using the pickleball courts, beach access, and free toy rentals. We gladly would stay here again.
