There are stairs to climb to get to all bedrooms. I state this because I didn't explain this to my family and had several complaints. Totally my fault but may help others to make a decision. Plenty of spices are there to use. Plenty of bathing supplies are there to use. Overall my family loved the property and location. I highly recommend this rental."

Our home is a great place to stay in Ogden. It is close enough to Salt Lake City and all of the ski resorts or other area activities yet it is a little quieter without all the headaches of traffic and people. There is plenty to do in Ogden and many places to go out and get a meal or do some shopping. Our home is near Riverdale Road which has a lot of food and shopping. Please come and enjoy our space. We are sure that you will be pleased. REMINDER: There is no USPS mail delivery or pick up from this address. Please use UPS, or FEDEX, etc.

The host even left us a little welcome tray of goodies and snacks. A couple things to note that did not affect our stay at all but could pose an issue for others, - the entrance to this unit includes crossing a (gorgeous) yard that is mainly grass. If you have mobility restrictions, it may be difficult. - this unit is a basement unit so there are times that you can hear the host walking. If you’re a light sleeper, you may be affected in the mornings. Please note that this is not excessive noise but it does occur. I would hands-down recommend this property to anybody looking to stay in the area. We had an amazing stay. "

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This tiny home has all the amenities and comfortably sleeps two people. It is conveniently located minutes from Weber State University and McKay-Dee Hospital. The area has numerous ski resorts (Powder Mountain, Snowbasin Resort, Allen Peak, Strawberry Peak, to name a few), hundreds of miles of hiking trails, lakes, and tons of great restaurants! The area is gorgeous anytime of year, with mountain ranges always in sight.

Please review all photos of the tiny home. The beds are in the loft area, there are two twin size beds. The beds are separate. The living room area has a small couch that can pull out flat to lay on. There is a TV in the loft area and one downstairs in the living area.

Welcome to our nicely updated, family friendly, clean & cozy place with all the comforts of home. Nearly 1100 sq feet of quality living space with open concept (great room area). Full kitchen and laundry. Plenty of beds to handle 8-10 people (including air & foam mattresses and Large sectional couch). Come on in, hang out, and make some memories!
The space
Beautifully remodeled upstairs of rambler-style home that lends itself to gathering together because of the huge great room area and open concept. No one needs to be separated by walls! There is a wonderful, private, fenced back yard for guests to enjoy with a gas BBQ available. Full kitchen outfitted with all the usual appliances & amenities, dishes. Everything you need to make complete meals. Although an older home, it's fully updated with plank flooring in and carpet throughout. Lots of windows give the perfect amount of natural light during the day with full blinds to block the light when you don't want it.

Large flat-screen TV in family area with a smaller flat-screens in both bedrooms (family room and master offer free Xfinity cable TV while other bedroom TV is dedicated to Nintendo Wii unit and limited games provided). All mattresses are newer and of very high quality, so you'll sleep very well. Safe, family-friendly neighborhood.

Location, location, location! Very near Weber State University, McKay-Dee Hospital, Hill AFB, and the Ogden Temple. Minutes away from amazing mountain hiking & biking trails. Only 30-45 minutes from some of the best skiing anywhere at Snow Basin, Powder Mountain, & Nordic Valley. If you like water sports there are 3 reservoirs located about 30 minutes away. Easy freeway access to Lagoon, Park City, Salt Lake City, and everywhere in between. Close to shopping & dining in every direction. Just five minutes from downtown Ogden with easy access to public transportation, if needed.
Guest access
You'll have the entire upstairs of the house with private entry and no interior shared space at all. The yard would be the only possible shared area, but that's only if we have downstairs guests during your stay in the upstairs (and they will have their own private entrance, too). The only places not available to guests are the garage and the cleaning closet in the bathroom. And feel free to use the washer & dryer (upstairs hallway just off the kitchen)

Plenty of parking in the driveway for 3-4 cars which is always reserved for our upstairs guests (downstairs guests are asked to park curbside in front of the house). There are only a few exterior stairs to get onto the front porch from the walkway and everything is on one level after that.

The downstairs of this home is a separate listing on VRBO/Airbnb. For this reason, guests may be staying in the basement during your stay upstairs. They have their own private entrance and no shared space, so privacy should never be an issue. However, we will insist that guests in the downstairs quietly respect your privacy and ask that you do the same for them, including honoring quiet hours from 10pm-8am every night.

NOTE: Since this is a rambler-style house with a basement, total silence is impossible to achieve. You should expect some normal house noise from any guests staying in the downstairs. We strictly enforce quiet time between 10pm and 8am, so there should never be problems with sleeping.

Parking was easy in a carport right outside. Plan on having owners talk you through how to FIND the driveway as GPS not too helpful. Icemaker didn't work but easy to buy bag of ice at nearby Target. Loved the sleek modern bedside tables with USB chargers for phones! Well-appointed kitchen. Suggestions: tea kettle w/a whistle and a card table or similar surface for doing puzzles/board games. All in all a great place to have a family vacation (or post-op recovery). Would stay there again."

- "Location was great. When the property was selected, was forced to also add fee of $89 for "insurance", which wasn't necessary or wanted. Communication from property manager could have been better. Arrived in Ogden but had not received pertinent check-in instructions, including the code for the door or address of the property. Was depending on the VRBO app; manager was using email and the app at the same time so wasn't clear or complete. The description didn't indicate that it was a downstairs apartment, which was fine, but would've been nice to know. Would've been nice to have a lit outdoor entrance. Would be a good idea to install a handicap grab bar in the bathtub/shower area. No lamp on the nightstand in the bigger bedroom, forcing use of the bright overhead light at all times. Didn't try to use the stove/oven but the microwave above the stove didn't work - why have it if it doesn't work? Advertisement didn't indicate that only one TV worked and that in order to watch the other TV, you would have to use your own streaming apps. Found some folded, clean towels on top of dryer, but they were all frayed and ragged on the edges. Bathmat was ragged on one side. No soap to wash hands or face. No dish rags to wash dishes - only one dish cloth, hanging on outside of stove. Outside area could have used a quick sweep, as there was leaves, dirt and spider webs everywhere. Other than all of this, it was "liveable" and the owner (lived upstairs) Heidi, was VERY nice."

In the summertime, you can head that way for fun at the reservoir! This house has been personally styled and has everything you would need for a family stay. Whether you are coming to visit family or enjoy the area there's a full-size kitchen with everything to cook a meal.

Other things to note
We are just a short drive down the road from Weber State University and McKay-Dee Hospital. Five minutes from Ogden Hospital. Only about 20 minutes up the canyon to ski resorts Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley. If you want swimming and picnicking, you are only about 30 minutes to Pineview reservoir. Lagoon is a 15 minute drive.
