Set close to the end of a dead-end road, this cottage is the perfect escape from everyday life. Enjoy a quiet walk in this cute lakeside neighborhood, a homecooked meal from the fully equipped kitchen, or lounge on the sunny patio. After you have enjoyed your day, prepare recipes on the gas grill and unwind while you roast marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace.
This is the perfect mix of peace and quiet but still minutes away from restaurants, shops, canal towns, attractions, parks and beaches including paved paths to walk or bike on the Erie Canal and Hamlin Beach State Park.

Our cottage is consistently rated 5 stars for cleanliness, and we take great pride in meticulously cleaning our cottage before each guest arrive. We want our guests to be comfortable. If you have fragrance sensitivities, please notify us at the time of booking to see if your special needs can be accommodated. We do have one plug in scent in the utility room and a Damprid to absorb moisture in the bedroom closets. We absolutely can remove them prior to arrival with advanced notice.
We thoroughly clean and disinfect between each rental. We require a day between each rental. We disinfect all light switches, remotes, handles, faucets, and counter tops. We wash all towels and linens in hot water with laundry soap and bleach. Ceramic floors are cleaned with hot water and bleach. Bathtub/shower is cleaned with cleansers with bleach.

This charming 1100 sq. ft. heated year-round vacation rental cottage is on a cul-de-sac, in a lakeside community, along the shores of Lake Ontario. It's located in Hilton New York - a beautiful northwestern suburb of Rochester, New York. Located far enough away to enjoy a secluded retreat from everyday life, but close enough to experience all that Rochester has to offer.
The peaceful cottage is nestled on the south side of the road, on a private 50x250 lot backing up to dense wood. The lake is on the north side of the road. There is little traffic. There is a beach area that has neighborhood walk-in privileges to use. This is a natural beach with no lifeguards. It is natural - may have some beach stones, driftwood and algae.

This unique location consists of cottages, and homes. It is a 2-minute walk from the Braddock Point Lighthouse which is privately own. There is also a tiny public park called Bogus Park, with a fantastic vantage point to watch the sunset next to the lighthouse during most times of the year. Folding chairs are provided to walk down to watch sunset in comfort.

Conveniently located 2 minutes from the scenic Lake Ontario Parkway, this serene setting provides fresh air and the opportunity to kick back and take things a bit more slowly.
This is an optimal place to surround yourself with peace and quiet. The cottage is the perfect mix of a lakeside retreat and a woodland cabin. It has the beautiful rustic touches you would expect with updates. The private setting is enhanced by a deep lot, and the benefit of not being sandwiched between neighboring houses.
This is a very safe neighborhood. We do have security cameras to monitor the driveway.
This is a delightful gem of a place to get away to unwind. Whether it is quiet solitude and reflection or days filled with activities you will find it all here.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakeside haven less than 20 minutes from the airport. This home sits between Lake Ontario to the north & Cranberry Pond to the south. Beautiful open layout. Wake up in the master bedroom with stunning views of the lake. Enjoy cooking in the open kitchen with amazing views of the pond and the lake. The break wall on the lakeside allows you to walk right down into the lake to enjoy the beauty and refreshing cool of the water.

Entering the home, you will have space to leave coats and shoes in the foyer. Directly up the stairs, you will enter the open layout living, dining and kitchen area. The lakeside of the home is a wall of windows that allows breathtaking views of the lake. In addition to the many windows, two sky lights also allow a vast amount of natural light into the space.

The living area is complete with 2 queen size sleeper sofas as well as 1 full-size sleeper sofa. There is plenty of room to relax along with the additional space for more guests to sleep. Going back down the stairs, you will find a half bathroom, a full-bathroom and two bedrooms.

The smaller bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds and is a great room for children. The larger master bedroom has a beautiful view of the lake and space for a king-size bed as well as a full-size sleeper sofa. Guests can also be provided with a pack-n-play if traveling with an infant or toddler.

The driveway is large enough to accommodate 3 vehicles. Parking is not available on the street, so only 3 cars be kept onsite overnight. Guests also should not use the garage and will not be provided with an overhead door opener.

Our home is lived in - and used frequently by many people. Despite professional and regular cleaning, the downstairs carpeting has signs of wear in all high traffic areas.

Guests should understand while the home as beautiful views and great amenities, not all areas of the home have been remodeled recently. However we keep everything in good working order with regular maintenance.

We have wonderful neighbors - but they do NOT expect to be bothered. They enjoy the tranquility of the lake so we expect that all guests are respectful of their privacy and their property. Guests should at NO time be in the neighbors lawn or near their boat deck. We are in contact with our neighbors, and if that occurs, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund given.

Living on the lake - guests need to also understand there are many bugs and spiders that will also be joining them outside while on vacation. Although we do have a professional company to spray regularly, we can't stop nature.

The fireplace is currently NOT working. Unfortunately the unit was damaged during a recent stay and will not be available for use until further notice.

Thank you for considering our cottage for your vacation. A couple important details before you continue. 1. The cottage is not for rent as event space. It's not fair to our awesome neighbors. No more than 10 people are allowed on the property at any given time. It is for a family-sized vacation. 2. No pets. 3. We have a 6 night minimum. If you are okay with the preceding details , we would love for you to be our guests. Take time to enjoy and relax in this newly remodeled cottage home. This cottage home features all of the luxuries and amenities one could imagine with the privacy and comfort of cottage living. This home is only steps away from the water’s edge. With over 50 feet of waterfront you will be able to enjoy your vacation to its fullest. Our dock is also ready and available for lounging, watching the sunset or jumping off into the water. If fishing is how you enjoy spending your time, you won’t have to travel far. Cottage-goers can fish from the dock or by canoe.

This 1500 sq ft 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage with large eat-in kitchen and 2 car garage, Large deck with ample seating, dining table and umbrella provide guests with a wonderful view of the water. Everything in this cottage is newly remodeled. The kitchen is very spacious with a full-size refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave and many small kitchen appliances. This kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery and utensils, pots and pans, toaster and coffee maker. The living room sofa and love seat provide you with comfortable seating for reading, television, movies, entertaining or relaxing. Enjoy watching television and movies on the 48” LED Smart TV with Cable and DVD player. Wi-Fi is also included. The master bedroom with large queen sized bed is located on the main floor off the kitchen with a wall-mounted Smart TV with cable. The full-sized down stairs bath features a bathtub and shower. Linens are included.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have ample closet space available. The second floor provides guests with a tremendous view of lake and pond. The upstairs bathroom has a tiled walk in shower.

This cottage home is built for year round accommodation and has a great main floor wood burning fireplace as well as central heat to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The basement laundry houses a full sized washer and dryer for guests use. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a complete meal. Guest can also enjoy a barbecue, canoeing, (life-jackets provided), board games, movies, and more.

The cottage will be spotless-clean when you arrive and we ask that it is left in the same clean condition in which it was found. All bed linen including sheets, blankets, and bedspreads will be provided.

Pets are welcome! Pet fee of $20/night per pet will be requested separately a couple of days before your arrival. I`m open to discounts for smaller breeds or longer stays. Please keep all pets off of the furniture and pick up any messes outside prior to departure. Doggy bags are available.

If at any point you loose the keys to the house or lock them inside please contact Cheryl immediately. We will do everything possible to assist with gaining access, in the event a locksmith has to be called and a $150 fee will be required.

Each day we enjoyed a nice walk to the end of the street and along the lake front of Lake Ontario. You can watch the swans swim by on the bay all day long (I’m not sure if it’s part of their seasonal migration.) The house is very nice, clean and all of the golf and arcade games were a blast! Driving down serene W. Beach you'll feel the excitement mount as you enjoy the tree lined street with Lake Ontario to your right. As you pull in the driveway you'll realize why you booked our house as you can see the lake through the front bay window.

Enter the mud room and through the new kitchen you'll see a wall of windows that prominently feature the lake. When frozen, it looks like you can walk to Canada. You cannot. During the summer months it looks like you can swim across. You cannot as it's 32 miles across and sometimes when the moon is full, the night is clear you might see the reflection of Canadian shoreline lights on the water. When a storm rolls in it’s absolutely beautiful watching the rolling waves and lightening on the horizon!

Come out the back sliding glass door and there's a great 6 person hot tub with two loungers and an ice chest beckoning you. But first you might want to feel the beach between your toes. Please wash your feet off before going in the hot tub or house.

In winter months we love doing snow angels.

In Summer months you can usually walk out 50 to 100 feet into the lake and only be up to your knees. Typically all sand bottom. Put a chair in the lake and watch the gorgeous sunset.

During summer there's a gas grill for cookouts.

Come back in and upstairs you'll find the Master bedroom. Stunning sunrises abound from your comfy king bed or out on the deck.

The 2 other bedrooms look out over the marsh.

This special place has been in our family since 1946. Please take good care of it and enjoy.

The property was about 25 minutes from the University of Rochester and quite easy to find with any map program. Beautiful, quiet property with a nice beach in front. The hosts were easy to contact and had recommendations for dining and grocery that we used. Living room, family room, kitchen and a half bath down; 3 large bedroom with a large bath that included a tub/shower and a separate shower upstairs. The main bedroom has two large mirrored closets and a private deck with a sliding glass door, great airflow. There was a 65 inch UHD Samsung TV in the family room on the water. There was also a free standing gas stove that we took advantage of one evening. Washer and dryer on premises also, many towels and paper supplies in closets. All our family enjoyed the property and the incredible views on the lake."

- "The property sits on a nice corner near the edge of the lake. There was no umbrella or shade cover over the back deck and the weather was warm, sunny and beautiful and this would have made it perfect. The amenities listed a fire pit and the picture showed chairs around the front deck (that deck was still empty). That being said there were chairs on the back deck, which provided a relaxed view of the morning sunrise, while sipping on coffee. Evenings were wonderful, as well with snacks and beverages. A second bedroom, rather than an uncomfortable pull-out would make this the perfect place! I emailed a couple minor things, for the owner's awareness and got an immediate response. Overall, we enjoyed it very much! Great kitchen!!"

While I strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible, there are a few things you should be aware of:

The town of Greece enforces strict regulations for short-term rentals. Always remember to park your vehicle in the driveway (not on the grass). There is also a noise ordinance in effect, and pets must be leashed and under control at all times.

Parties are strictly prohibited. The town of Greece has been deliberating on banning rentals due to their impact on quiet neighborhoods like ours. Besides, I deeply value the peaceful coexistence with my neighbors and wouldn't want to disturb their tranquility!

Lovely cottage very close to Lake Ontario in a quiet quaint neighborhood. Access to the lake in just seconds on foot. Enjoy a nice refreshing swim or relax in the hot tub. Nice yard and a lot of outdoor seating, along with a grill. 20 Minutes to downtown Rochester. About a hour and half scenic drive along the lake to Niagara Falls and Canada. Great bars, breweries and restaurants within a short drive.
The space
Clean quiet cottage on a unique dead end street near Lake Ontario.. This property has a lot of character. The yard is landscaped perfectly to give a nice peaceful ambiance and privacy. There are plenty of seats or room in the yard for kids to play. You never know….you may be able to see the Northern Lights.

Other things to note
Please note that I have a window air conditioner unit in the main living area and main bedroom. These can keep the house pretty cool. I would advise to keep bathroom door closed if air conditioning is running. It will cool the house faster.

To access the lake: there are big boulders that you will have to climb over although they are fairly flat. Lake level varies; however, it is pretty shallow near the shore and it is also a sandy bottom.
