The hotel is lovely and quiet at night despite constant movement of other guests arriving. One night two guests who stayed outside in the patio were loud and woke me a few times. Best close the patio after midnight. I enjoyed Ksamil MUCH more than Serande. "

Just to be aware of the apartment is about 10-20metres down an unpaved street however the road is still in relatively good condition. This was very near a 5 star but for one thing. Unfortunately the day I stayed there was no hot water for the shower. I stayed at a cloudy and rainy time in May so I expect the solar panels simply didn’t have enough sun to warm the water up. It probably wouldn’t be a problem in the summer but something for the owners to consider how to improve around when there is less sun. Despite this small issue, if the sun is out I’d definitely be happy to stay there again."

Bathroom is very small, shower cabin turned out to be the most narrow one I've used so far. Sink is inconveniently placed, one needs to close the bathroom door to use it, with no place nearby to put toiletries, except for the closed lid of the toilet. Hotel's request to leave keycard at the reception when leaving for food/beach etc. turned out to be optional. Very good location with a lot of tasty food options nearby. Takes less than 5 minutes of walking down to the beach (unfortunately filled with too many bars, used another beach 15 minutes away by car). Breakfast room in the basement was brightly lit, buffet options were rather limited but the quality was good. Did not use the pool or the bar. Checkout happened fast and easy. Had a good stay there, except for the lamp knocking noises caused by the aircon."
