I had my receipt and confirmation number, but she said that didn't mean anything to her without the info from Hotels.com. She had my ID and the name was under my FB name (which is my first and middle name). I guess she couldn't connect the dots. Double Tree gave me $50 for my troubles, so it all worked out fine."

My only issue with the room was how firm the mattress was; I woke up many times in the night because the hip I was sleeping on was in pain. The only other issue I had at all was the food for dinner. The menu has very few options and the items didn't strike me as worth the price I paid for them. Breakfast was great, and the hotel restaurant is very heavily geared toward that, but they could stand to improve the rest of their menu since there aren't a lot of other food options in close proximity. Since that's my biggest complaint, though, the overall stay was very good!"
