My only issue with the room was how firm the mattress was; I woke up many times in the night because the hip I was sleeping on was in pain. The only other issue I had at all was the food for dinner. The menu has very few options and the items didn't strike me as worth the price I paid for them. Breakfast was great, and the hotel restaurant is very heavily geared toward that, but they could stand to improve the rest of their menu since there aren't a lot of other food options in close proximity. Since that's my biggest complaint, though, the overall stay was very good!"

Enjoy walking to local restaurants and down town businesses. Enjoy a bike ride around the park. This unit comes with two bikes to use. Enjoy sitting on the front porch swing watching the leaves fall from this tree lined street.

It has a fully fenced patio area, however the back yard is unavailable for use. The house has a private driveway that fits 3 cars. There is no overnight parking on the street.

- "Whoever decorated this home did a great job! It is very pleasing to the eye and the decor fits the house and the surrounding neighborhood. It is small, so pay attention to the occupancy limit. It was the perfect size for 3 of us; i imagine 4 would work well too. It is a short walk from old downtown including the university campus and a 1 minute walk from a beautiful park. The neighborhood itself is beautiful and quiet. The surrounding homes are well kept and add to the nice atmosphere. The location is perfect. We would highly recommend this house for a stay!"

Our home in the hills above Pomona boasts incredible sunrise views & hundreds of square feet of outdoor decks and patios surrounding the house. Minutes from Fairplex at Pomona, parks, golf courses & the Claremont Colleges, it's nestled above it all in a quiet canyon. The house has a large living and family room complete with leather couches, large fireplaces and televisions, and two spacious bedrooms—one Cal King bed and two twin beds. The owner added so many nice, thoughtful touches, even fresh lemons from the tree out front and several bottles of water in the fridge The kitchen was small, but just right. The bed was super comfortable. It was all fresh and super clean. We felt relaxed right away. The little, private patio outside, under the giant oak tree was wonderful and so quiet. We sat out there every day. The host is super nice and friendly, but not intrusive at all. It was great getting to meet her. The location is great - quiet neighborhood, nice people, good walking loop, shopping and restaurants nearby, easy to get on the highway and go anywhere. Even for outdoor backyard play, there was a fun ramp and car for toddlers. The biggest thing to be aware of at this home was that the pool fence was not in working condition. In other words, it was unstable and broken on one end, therefore making the yard a potential danger for children. Having said that, we were able to look past it and supervision of our children allowed for fun outdoor time with the beautiful California weather. The hosts were absolutely so kind and communicative. Every question was answered immediately and they always left the line of communication open for continued support. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful experience for our family!"

All bedrooms are upstairs along with two bathrooms. One bathroom is inside the master bedroom and the other bathroom is shared. The half bath is downstairs. There are TV's and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Every room is climate controlled by central heat and air.

- "I stayed here with two other co-workers for a grand total of roughly 7 months. Proximity to our jobsite was ideal and only a 7 minute drive at 5am and then a 15 minute drive at 6pm. Location was the reason we chose this place back in July 2019, the place itself was an added bonus. The owner had essentials ready for us (i.e. coffee, toothpaste, water, fruit, flowers....). Since we stayed there for so long, my co-workers and I bought things that would ultimately stay there such as a fan, a couple water hoses as the ones there broke. We watered the plants in the back, unlocked the gate for landscaping, took out the trash....much like we were permanent residents. Basically a very well maintained house with washer & dryer in the garage. I'd say the only downside to the place is there is no parking on the street. When we had three of us staying there, it was kind of a pain to coordinate who will park in the garage...but we worked it out and this isn't really the owners fault, neighborhood rules. Also, I'd like to add that since we stayed there for so long, the owner was willing to work out a deal with us, a discount if you will. That said, I would definitely stay here again and I know my co-workers would as well."

Located in a gated community at the edge of Angeles National Forests this home is surrounded by parks and a couple of golf courses. A short 3-mile drive will take you to Historic Route 66. There you can find many stores and eateries to enjoy along the street. A few miles away is the city of Claremont, home to Claremont Colleges. There are many things to enjoy and explore while staying in this exclusive home. Minimum 31 days stay required!

- "My family of 5 stayed at this house for 3.5 months while my husband underwent surgery and treatment at City of Hope. The home and yard are beautiful from the outside, and most importantly it was a safe neighborhood. Upon our arrival, it was clear that the house had not been used for some time. We had several issues right from the beginning that were quite inconvenient: washing machine leaked all over the floor, dishwasher didn't work for the first month, and refrigerator and freezer thawed and we lost an entire fridge full of food. While these issues were addressed, it took some time and was an extra headache that we didn't need during an already stressful time for our family. Additionally, the kitchen of this house was fairly ill equipped. There were very few kitchen utensils and tools and not enough plates for the number of people that the home could accommodate. We ended up buying quite a bit of kitchen supplies. Some of the furniture in this house needs updating as well. The stools and chairs for eating at were all very rickety and kept falling apart with just normal use. One of the beds in the upstairs bedroom has a terribly uncomfortable mattress that would not have worked for an adult. Fortunately, that was the bedroom that my 4.5 year old twins used and they didn't complain. Setting those things aside, we did make use of the backyard each day. There is a very cool sliding wall of glass that opens up the whole kitchen area to the outside space. There is a hot tub with water feature that was a huge hit for my kids. We just heated it enough to function as a small pool. Another great perk of the backyard was the side driveway (probably meant for parking an RV). Since this area was within the fenced in backyard, it was perfect for my daughters to ride their bikes and scooters and to do chalk. The master bedroom and bathroom is spacious and updated and was very comfortable for us. We had several family members and friends come to visit and help us during our time there and they were able to stay comfortably in the guestroom upstairs that has an attached bathroom and king size bed. The other bedroom upstairs we used for my 1.5 year old who slept in a pack n play, so we didn't make use of the bed in that room. There is an office on the main level that is listed as a space to sleep, however it only has a futon and would not be comfortable for any length of time. Despite the challenges at the beginning, we did enjoy."

Our guests have complete privacy during their stay. Check-in is set up for guests to check in on their own, using the instructions provided on the app. The guests’ have private parking, access to the property, and outdoor patio space. We of course are available to our guests, should they need anything or have questions.

There is a video camera only the entrance of the property, as well as around the entire perimeter of the property. This is to ensure our guests' safety, as well as our family's safety throughout the stay.

We suggest our guests walk downtown for great food and spirits, however we offer one mid-size parking spot for those that need to drive to their destination. Both Uber and Lyft are also available for those guests that need to get around without a vehicle.

Our guesthouse allows for (1) parking space, which is adjacent to the home. The space is available for small - mid size vehicles. For larger vehicles, such as SUV and trucks, street parking will be required. The street parking is 50 feet from the property, and requires a parking permit. We can provide our guests with the permit, but would prefer to be made aware prior to guests arrival. (Parking permit is $3.00 a night)

Our neigborhood is nestled in Downtown La Verne, just a block from ULV and two block from downtown. The streets are lined with trees, and many California Bungalows and Craftmans homes. Many that come to visit the area, are usually here to visit the many local colleges, family and friends.

Welcome to my relaxing, comfortable & cozy La Verne townhome! The living room, kitchen, and half-bath are downstairs, with a private patio & yard off of the dining area. Upstairs are two bedrooms, master with a vanity area and walk-in closet, 2nd bedroom one large space set up as either an office/workspace, or as a 2nd bedroom with a comfortable inner-spring mattress futon bed, or multi-use. Upstairs is also the full bathroom, with two access doors, one in the hall area, and one to the master bedroom. Two-car garage, washer and dryer in garage.

Home is decorated in soothing earth tones, with a splash of color here & there! The small private yard is nice for morning coffee or evening wine, and is very low maintenance, or you can do a little gardening! Watering is on timers. The living room has a beautiful view of sunsets. A storm door in the living room allows security, closed to retain heat or cool air, yet affords light and a view.

The garage hold 2 cars, and the garage door is brand new, April 2024. There is a keypad for first entry through garage & keys, or keypad for front door. Two gated pools are in the complex!

La Verne is centrally located, and charming, close to everything! There are not only several hospitals a short drive away, La Verne is also home to the University of La Verne, close to the Claremont Colleges, Cal Poly Pomona, and other universities and colleges. Pomona Fairplex is 10 minutes away, with year-round events.

If you would like a cozy and comfy home with all conveniences, let me know! I prefer to rent to travel professionals, but am open to others. I also own a condo in Palm Springs and rent almost exclusively to travel professionals, and have been quite happy with my tenants. Ideally, I would like to rent my home for a portion of, or all of, the summer.

My home is pet-friendly, one small/medium, well-behaved dog 25 pounds or less, pre-approval required. No cats.

Utilities included, gas water, electricity, WiFi, with a $150/month cap on electricity and $100/month cap on water/sewage/trash, overage paid by tenant, taken out of electricity and water fees. If tenant does not go over these caps, the fees will be refunded. Mailbox is not available for tenant use, but there are many postal services nearby with PO Boxes. Amazon, UPS and FedEx deliveries please note to leave on porch or PO Box. It is a very safe neighborhood😊

* We love animals but some guests are not, so NO PETS are allowed in the tent.
* Please no parties or events or additional guests that were not previously reported.
* NO FIRE OR SMOKING inside or near the tent! Tents are easily damaged by fire.
* NO FOOD and Drinks inside the tent, to prevent attracting some unexpected guests like mouse or wild animals. If you have left over food, please put in the ice box provided.
* Yes, the property might look like a house/RV, but it’s a tent with soft shell! So, we appreciate your cooperation with the following house rules.
* Internet speed is fast, but if you are experiencing a low signal, please check whether it is plug-in the Google Nest Wi-fi Router on the nightstand. Feel free to contact us if you need support.
* Guests will need to park on the street, but please be sure to read the parking signs for restricted days/hours—street sweeping days. Street parking is plentiful.
* Please respect our neighbors and the neighborhood. There are neighbors on both sides of the property. Loud talking or music during our quiet time hours (10pm - 8am) is not allowed.
