- "Cute and comfortable apartment at a lovely place." - "Great little place with everything you need. Hiking, food and great views. Very comfortable and homey." - "First of all, few places on Earth are as beautiful and serene as Lake Junaluska. Then once your here, having a nice warm and comfortable place to stay is a bonus. Serenity Hillside Lower is aptly named. It was quiet, calm, warm and most comfortable. The HVAC system responds immediately to any changes and was plenty warm despite the freezing outdoor temps. Rooms and beds were just the right size for two folks, anymore than three folks would be a little tight. Appliances appeared brand new and the kitchen was more than amply stocked with utensils, even some housekeeping supplies. TV service (composed of streaming services) and Wi-Fi were more than sufficient. Proximity to lake was great given the price. Each time we went down to the lake we simply walked. The site is off the main roadway making it quiet and peaceful, but super close to the Lake Junaluska Outfitters area which has most of the visitor amenities. All were within a short walk away. Super easy to get to and close to the Lake Junaluska entrance without being near any traffic. You can see the lake clearly from the patio but it’s not as if you’re right on the bank, thus the economical price. Unless you have to have an entirely unobstructed view of the lake, it’s a great bargain. Communication with Vacasa was super simple and done entirely via text, though use of the app is an option. Would most definitely stay there again. Thank you to the owners and Vacasa for a most memorable and pleasant stay."

Walking path that goes around the lake was just across the street. No motor boats on the lake except the pontoon boat giving tours, led to a quiet peaceful setting to be enjoyed. So." - "Tucked away in lake julaska" - "This cute little cabin was exactly what I needed. It was so cozy with hand quilted wall hangings, unique art work, and lovely antique furniture pieces. The bed was comfortable (more than my own at home). The bathroom was very modern and clean for a rustic cabin. I opened the windows and woke to birdsong every morning. It's in a very nice neighborhood, and the neighbors that I came in contact with were pleasant and kind. The only downfall to the entire home is that if you have balance issues or ambulatory issues, you need to be careful going up the small stairs leading up to the yard. I would definitely rent this home again."

- "Very beautiful house." - "Beautiful home and furnishings. Fabulous Garden where you can sit outside on the over sized porch and admire the peaceful grounds. Convienient location just a few blocks from Lake Junaluska and close to restaurants and shopping. Only issue we had was there was a broken curtain rod in the master bedroom and it was obviouly unreported by prior guests. It was thrown on the floor and the large windows were completely uncovered. We had no privacy and it was too bright and you couldnt see the only TV in the house's screen til dark.. We called twice and they never came to fix it.That was quite unconformable for us but im sure an unusual circumstance. Other than that we would definely stay again."

My favorite part of this space is the porch and the outdoor dining. I love being able to sit out on the rockers and enjoy the sweet sounds and kind neighbors walking. The couch is also very comfortable.

Guests have access to the entire apartment and porch. There is a fire pit in the backyard that is shared among the units.

With this unit being a 21 night minimum stay, things to keep in mind:
+Trash day is on Wednesdays.
+We do not have access to the mailbox. Please plan accordingly. I know Amazon has drop boxes close by.
+If requested, we can have the space cleaned as requested for $75 per clean.
