- "Got there an hour early for check in and wanted to get a nap from the drive. Called Patrick and he let us go in early. Very nice layout, and everything was in order to just enjoy the room. I have zero complaints except that late in the evening, we did notice some ants in the bathroom, getting in from somwhere. I understand that that they can be a nuisance, but if checked and sprayed it can be controlled. Luckily we did not have any food loose that they could not get into. I would recommend this place if you want peace and quiet, and to be left alone. Patrick dropped off Breakfast around 8:30 am, and it was just enough to fill the belly before we left. Upon entering, you will be welcomed into an open and airy main level where the kitchen, dining, and living areas are well poised to enjoy each other’s company while preparing a meal, streaming your favorite movie, or taking in a peaceful morning cup of coffee.

Wander down the hall just off the kitchen and you will find two lovely bedrooms with queen beds wrapped in hotel-quality linens. They both include a personal vanity that makes getting ready to start the day a cinch without tying up the main bathroom, which is located just past these bedrooms at the end of the hall. In the bathroom, you will find a tub/shower combo and a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience.

Climb up the ladder from the living area and you will find a full-sized futon that serves as a third sleeping option with plenty of space for the kids to spread out to play a board game. Tupshin Peak Condo is a ground-floor unit overlooking the sixth green with expansive views of Nason Ridge and tons of sunlight. The name comes from the local Chinook language meaning "needle."

With two bedrooms and two baths, you and your family will surely have enough room to sprawl out, relax and enjoy a getaway at the Tupshin Peak Condo.

One thing that's great is the owner actually has the driveway plowed regularly which is super convenient. The washer and dryer were super handy too for drying wet clothes from the snow. I loved that this property owner truly thought of everything you might need in case you get snowed in. This darling cozy log cabin is nestled in the woods and is fairly private. It has a wood burning stove and all lodge fixtures and amenities you would need for a wonderful week or weekend away. It has a large yard to play yard games, build a snow man, or just for your pet to play. There is a loft with a queen bed and the main floor offers bunk beds for your smaller family members. The property also has a hot tub that is maintained weekly. 25 minutes to downtown Leavenworth or Steven’s pass, it really is the perfect location!

Camp Howard, built in 2018, was designed to blend modern luxury into the expansive nature of Nason Ridge. The home sits 2000 feet above sea level, perched on top of 5 acres of ponderosa forest in the foothills of Cashmere mountain. The rarities of the Pacific Northwest are a short drive away: Alpine skiing 25 minutes to the west at Stevens Pass, Bavarian treats 20 minutes south in Leavenworth, and recreation at Lake Wenatchee just moments north.

The space

The 1600 square foot home bathes in natural light from sweeping floor to ceiling windows throughout the living space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private TV lounge create enough space for 4-6 to comfortably enjoy this mountain retreat. The huge sliding glass doors welcome the outdoors in, opening to our large deck perfect for outdoor dining or quiet mornings with coffee and a view. A barrel sauna and fire pit are located steps from the property next to the two-car carport.

It is the perfect cabin to unplug and recharge. The cabin is very comfortable and quiet. A great place for napping, reading, playing board games, doing puzzles by the fire or going on a peaceful walk. There is WiFi for internet and a TV with ROKU for movies. The cabin is just off the County road so it is easily accessible, and it is a dead end road, so there is very little traffic at all! Quiet! On the south shore of Lake Wenatchee but only 10 minutes to Plain and 30 minutes to Leavenworth or Stevens Pass. Cross Country skiing is just 3 miles aways and Stevens Pass is only a 30 minute drive. NO PETS Thank You!

The space
Located in Fish Lake Idyllwild Community near Plain, WA. The property abuts national forest and is very quiet. The open concept living space boasts a cozy living room, dining table and state of the art kitchen with bar seating. The two bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms provide privacy and comfort. There is a large parking area onsite with a private entrance with plenty of space to store your gear in all seasons. The large living room has a propane fireplace, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans, leather couches and comfy blankets. The unit has central heat and air-conditioning throughout. The deck overlooking the national forest is very private and a great place to sit and enjoy coffee or a cocktail. There is direct access to the national forest and trail network.

Other things to note
The town of Leavenworth, aka. Christmas town USA is a 20-minute scenic drive through the Tumwater Canyon from the lodge. Leavenworth has quaint shops, beautiful lights from late November through February, many wineries, breweries and distilleries to explore. Steven's Pass Ski area is a year-round resort that features skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter and bike trails in the summer. If you prefer cross-country skiing, there are trails located in the nearby town of Plain. You can access Fish Lake to launch a kayak or similar type boat from a community ramp while staying at Bear Lodge. The Cove campground (3 miles down the road) provides both rental fishing boats and pontoon boats for cruising and fishing on Fish Lake. In the Winter, you can access the snowmobile trails right from the Lodge and ride miles of groomed trails with your own sleds. Lake Wenatchee state park is right down the road and has a nice beach area as well as hiking trails. The area around Bear Lodge is an outdoor paradise!
