- "Just all in all a good room and service, only complaints is that i asked for a triple room with a double bed and a single and instead got 3 triples, also very unique design with an open shower however not appropiate if travelling with family. - "This hotel is a hidden gem. The Club has slightly larger rooms and overlooks a quiet garden with a warm pool in the basement. The non club side is through the other side of reception (the pool separates the all access areas) and is situated over the bar and basement restaurant. The food is good, a bit samey, but better than other all included hotels I've stayed in. I will say that Malgret has some lovely restaurants... There are many relaxation and activity classes on throughout the week and you can partake in early morning Chinese style stretches followed by tai chi or yoga and finish your day with a Japanese tea ceremony or water aerobics if you wished. The activity leader is a guy called Miguel and he was excellent. He really made the holiday for me as we did complete many of his sessions. I would certainly return to this hotel. It is set on the second strip back from the main road, but this gives an aura of peace, and unlike many other hotels it is fully hedged and walled to maintain privacy."

As a silver member a bottle of wine was suppose to be included in the room but was not and staff had no idea about this promotion The staff was somewhat friendly and a positive for the stay but still the hotel should be rated at maximum 3 stars - unfortunalty the rating on the restaurant should be even lower"

The manager upgraded our room but the shower drain in the new room was clogged and remained clogged throughout our stay, even though we made several maintenance requests. - "Ok" - "Absolutely great hotel " - "Check in was efficient by a very friendly lady. We parked our car on the car park at the rear of the hotel. A few hours later whilst we were out I received a phone call from the hotel receptionist asking to move the car immediately. There was nothing to say we couldn't park there initially but a bollard had been put there on our return! We had a pool/seaview room which was spacious with a modern bathroom. The restaurant was sometimes chaotic with quite a few empty reserved tables and nowhere else to sit. After a consultation with the Restaurant Manager we were allowed to sit at one of the reserved tables. Food was okay. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and were on a return nostalgia visit for a couple of days. The hotel is now housing migrants which didn't cause us any issues but may be off putting to some guests. Disco could be heard on the 8th floor until 4am, lots of noise and very little sleep unfortunately!"

- "I had a lovely stay at the hotel: the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the pool was amazing. Besides that, the food was excellent. Only one remark: the walls are very thin, so it was very noisy in the hallways every night, and you could hear people's footsteps upstairs loudly. Lastly, the cleaning staff did a great job at cleaning. However, they made a lot of noise doing so. We woke up because they were moving things in nearby rooms but they were not paying attention to doing this in a quiet manner. It woke us up almost daily. - "Our stay at Aparthotel Iris was fantastic. The location is great, literally a minute walk to the beach and few minutes walk to the train station. There are bars and restaurants on the doorstep of the property and others not too far away. The ownership were very amenable and helpful with anything we needed. Not like some other places with small scattered pockets of beach. Didn't seem too popular, maybe because the smaller beaches offer calmer water. Malgrat is very walkable, very flat. Apartment is as described. Apartment is conveniently located with groceries, restaurants and cafes within a short walk. Joana is a nice host. Responsive over WhatsApp, even though she didn't speak too much English. It's an older building, so noise insulation isn't great. But bedrooms in the back, away from the street, were quiet enough for sleeping. Beds are quite firm, which suited us. The house of approximately 220 m2 has on the ground floor entrance hall, living room, dining room with fully equipped kitchenette, pantry, bathroom and private garden. On the first floor which is accessed from the living room by internal staircase, there are 4 bedrooms, laundry room, bathroom, terrace and balcony. On the second floor a room, terrace and attic.
The house has been recently renovated and furnished, it is part of the catalog of goods of the municipality for its modernist facade work of the son-in-law of the famous architect Doménech i Muntaner.
In it resided the family of the illustrious explorer explorer of Angel Falls of Venezuela, Felix Cardona Puig, hence the name of the house, Can Cardona.
