They insist no outside foods or drinks are brought into the property. So I suppose withholding ice helps enforce that. Food We were all inclusive. Breakfast options include, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, toast, bread rolls, typical English breakfast items, meats, cheeses and pastries. Lunch and dinner options include salads, fruits, hot freshly cooked food including pizza, fish and meat. An array of desserts/ice cream. Snack bar running throughout the day and two bars to get drinks. We were never disappointed with the food. I have a very fussy child and whilst he ate chips practically every day, he always had something different with them. Facilities Great pool area for kids. Be warned, should you choose to reserve your sunbed with towel, it’s likely they will be removed by staff if you are not on the premises. There an ample beds, you will always get one, just might not be where you want. Playground, football/basketball court. Kids club with lots of activities. My kids are 10 and 6 and had plenty to keep them entertained. Service 20 euros to use the safe which is already in the room. Staff very friendly. Loads of staff everywhere and always cleaning. Area Well placed, not in a very busy area but close enough to walk to shops and the beach. Only downside, long transfer from airport. all adults have to pay a ‘visitors’ tax. Works out to be 9 euros each, not a fortune but I knew nothing about it before arriving. "

- "My husband and I returned to Hotel Anabel after 53years. It was our 1st holiday together 1971. We were so glad we did. The family run hotel made such a fuss of us when we told them our reason for returning. The hotel is still fabulous. It is spotless and everything about it is high end. - "Our trip was short but it was well worth it. The room looked just as the photos; we weren’t looking for ultimate comfort as we planned to be out and about most of the time. The only “complaint” I would have is when we would walk into the room it was a weird smell; something like a hint of a moldy smell which I’d think would come from the humidity of the beach and the ac maybe. I’m not completely sure but it did make my jeans jacket that stayed in the room smell awful once it was time to pack. Honestly though that is such a small thing compared to the atmosphere, good breakfast, amazing rooftop pool and bar area and the absolutely Stunning view… & let’s not forget the Amazing staff. The breakfast offer is until 1pm in the afternoon, you can sit inside with some views of the sea or there is seating outside on the promenade which is amazing and so lovely to have breakfast/brunch there. The room is fairly basic but nice, clean, the bathroom is modern and the view totally from the room and balcony sells it. The solarium is lovely to sit/lay out on also. Breakfast, there was everything you could wish for and all cooked/served to a high quality standard. I can’t fault the food! Overall, would we stay again….. definitely yes! A really great location, easy 5 minute walking distance to the beach and main strip with plenty of bars & restaurants, but just out enough for a bit of peace of quiet too. A local convenience store, Caprabo is a 1 minute walk where you can stock up on supplies (water, snacks, alcohol) should you wish for a cheaper option during your stay.
